Yup, I suggested this as well, with the extra idea of having a global chat ability so that you can talk to people before you log in with a toon as well.

Player A logs in
Player A sees player B on his lvl 26 brute
Player A - "hey mate, mind if I join you with my lvl 25 corruptor?"
Player B - "Sure, go for it!"
Player A logs in with said corruptor!

I know it's only about 30 or so seconds saved, but most QOL stuff is after all

Perhaps have it as a SG Base extra? That way a SG could have a hall of fame kind of thing?

Indeed, there's a lot can be discussed on it.

Guides to the sites, hints about best way to get the specific badges for damage, healing, etc, a way to set up teams to farmf or the annoying badges such as Toxid Tarants, where to go in a zone to find the villains you need for defeat badges.

Easily enough there for all us badge nuts

But I stand by what I say about these forums having a badge section. PvPers and RP don't have to wander off to find their own forums, why should badge collecters?

Well, I've been wanting a Badge section on here for ages now! Given that we have a section for RP, PVP, Inventions as well as every AT, I think badging should have one as well, especially given that they have one in the US!!

As for moderation, I can't see why NC can't authorise specific people to be moderators for a sub-forum? Sections such as Badges aren't going to cause much in the way of arguing so a badge section with someone who knows badges well and is a respectable poster (Shades or BlueRabbit for instance) would be good moderators for it.

I can see why PvP might not get a player mod, it's a very volatile subject and needs official moderators, but badges is hardly likely to start fights and anyway, the official mods can still keep an eye on it as well and overule the player mods.

Hopefully when the new boards come on live we can get a badge section, in fact it would be good if the mods asked us forum readers what sections we would like!! I personally think the forums are pretty good as is, but add a Badge forum and possibly an Off Topic section as well

Just my 2 inf of course, but us poor badge whor.......collectors need some loving as well!!

I prefer the TNT one for badges, though Herostats will add a toon to the CIT site for you, I don't think the TNT one does

Depends on how fast you do it, if you are doing the bind file thing it can take a few passes through it if you have a lot of badges, and I'm talking over 3 or 4 hundred here

Also, you NEED to do the bind file to get the Gladiator badges to go through as well.

Worth doing though, I use it for all my toon and I only badge seriously on the one

Have you actually created an account on Titan Network? You need to do that then add your character to get the badge tracking to work, then it's a question of clicking all your badges and waiting a few mins for the CIT site to update

Anyway, I've had numerous of this sort of thing, depending on my mood at the time, I'll either just ignore or have some fun annoying them back, but always politely.

Often my response to my favourite "Farm!" is

"farm [fahrm] –noun

And so on and so forth, usually gets replied to with a healthy "HUH??"

The worst tells I've ever had was the whole debacle where I was accused of being a racist due to my new scrapper being called White Racer. She was dressed in a white cossie and had super speed, hence the name. One nutball decided it was offensive and I was obviously some sort of white supremacist KKK nazi type, threatened to petition me and have me banned. I was so gutted by the conversation I deleted her at level 27 because of it Looking back I wish I'd just ignored them.

Of course hasten, air superiority, recall friend tp foe and even combat jumping are usefull in their way. But would you have taken that power if you didn't need it for the travel power?

yes, yes and thrices Yes!! I thought I'd made this clear already?

I love Hasten, I have it on every single toon I make. Super Speed is by far my fave travel power it's a no-brainer to me to take them both. The rare times I make a toon with Fly I take Air Sup as well. On my TP toons, I always take one of the other two, depending on how I want to play the toon and it's AT. The only one I consider lesser is Combat Jumping and on some of my squishier toons I like it as it's a bit extra defence and useful in PVP as well.

Ironically, the only ones I take regularly I ahte taking is swift and hurdle, but then I have choice in the matter if I want Stamina.

Oh I dunno, I think Hasten is damn useful for a lot of toon, Air Superiority is one of the best soft control powers in the game and one of the early TP powers is also damn handy depending on how you play your toons.

I never consider Hasten a waste, certainly

I'm about to transfer a toon from Defiant to Union, can anyone out there tell me how fast it transfers? Are we talking minutes, hours, days?
