I'd like to nominate Doc Destiny for Beginnings - I know the thread started in September, but continued to develop with postings through October. Excellent stuff.
Ooooh, hard again this month!
I was very tempted by the new stuff by Psygon, but I've voted for her on other months, so I'm gonna go with the GGRRR Comic Book Strip for the excellent work that's gone into it and the humour as well 
We built this city on Rock and Roll!
Hmmm... A *very* tough one this month, but I think that, after careful thought, I'm going to have to nominate The Scarlet Widow. I love Jedi's unique style and it makes a change to see a comic book character which DOESN'T conform to the perfect body type!

Lots and lots of stories and creative writing went through in October, but my vote has to go to...
Nitochi - Learning to Love Yourself
Just a very enjoyable read, out of all the stories this month, this is the one I enjoyed the most.
I'd like to nominate MorganaFiolett for Trace Element - Origin Story. Enjoyed reading it and looking forward to reading more.
