Well, arguably, Nexus: Kingdom Of The Winds was the first MMO, given that it was out over a year before Ultima Online. Meridian 59 and The Realm Online also could make a good claim to that title of first. UO was one of the first to really become popular though.

Well, I'm all for it!

I got mine ordered (just got the mail to say it's been sent!! ) and the money goes to a good cause as well, so it's all good.

NSPCC is also a good charity, as are the other thousands of charities out there. Much as I'd like to, I can't afford to give to them all, so my money goes where I want it to.

And lets be honest, no matter what charity it's linked to, there'll always be someone with a (often times valid) reason why it's the "wrong" charity. I prefer not to get into the political aspects of charities and just see people trying to help other people in need and this being my own little way of helping
