I'll answer what I've seen with my characters.

1) Luck of the gambler +recharge will apply even if the power is not currently 'on'.

3) Steadfast Protection Knockback also works for you even when the slotted power is not 'on'.

That would be quite enjoyable, Alpha. I thought someone tried this though before, and XP Boosters during Double XP weekend now work as if you were in an AE mission. Namely, they are ignored.

Or am I just crazy and should just focus on working right now?

I would think you won't get 4x. It should just be "added" on the end, like Patrol Xp. But I don't think i would try using it unless you wait until near the end of double xp weekend, that way the remaining 8 hours will carry over.

Oh darn. I even wrote Whirpool and was thinking Whirlwind from the Super Speed pool. Carry on, carry on.

On top of what RaikenX said, Whirlpool cannot take Overwhelming Force since it does not allow damage sets.

I've seen many peopel state that Ragnarok works quite well so I can't imagine adding Overwhelming Force would hurt. However, there is a bug right now that is not letting OF apply the chance to knockdown effect to any power. The conversion of knockback to knockdown is working.

Yogi, slot it and enjoy. Could always use an unslotter later.

Nothing will 'appear' to let you know of your +1 status.

Something to note, only the Alpha ability incarnate ability will give you a +1 in regular content. Lore and Destiny +1s are only available during Incarnate trials.

You do have some options for determining if the +1 is on you though:

-Target a level 50 minion and see what color they con to you.
-Cast a pet, if applicable. They will show (+1) when you target them.
-Look at the description of the ability you slotted. If it says **applies incarnate shift** you can trust you have a +1.

I had a marvelous time with plant/fire. Plenty of control and damage. You'll have your solo and team ability. Prior to this combo, I had never made it past level 20 with a Dominator.

I believe you don't gain access to salvage and AH until you fill Tier4.

You will not gain Invention use until level 7.
