Dude, this is a thread where the original poster asked for a SG to join. I hardly call someone advertising their SG in a thread where someone is asking to join a SG griefing. Last time I checked, Obsidian Operations doesn't have an exclusive lock on being the only SG on Exalted. BTW, having the most prestige doesn't = being the biggest, nor the best, SG.
  2. Okie, I figured it out. I'm a moron. It wasn't listed anywhere in Combat Attributes, but while scrolling through over 100 temporary powers, there it was: Movement Increase. I still had time remaining on the temporary power from four Safeguard missions ago, lol.

My apologies for wasting y'all's time. 3.5 MPH is a very small difference indeed, it just made me curious, and now I know why.

Note that Sentinel does not export Enhancement Boosters currently, so if you're using those then you'll have to re-implement them. The build that you posted has EVERY SINGLE ENHANCEMENT boosted, which boggles the mind...but if you have enough money burning a hole in your pocket, it is theoretically possible. (Aside: I want to live comfortably enough to have that much play money!)

Sentinel can be found at http://cit.cohtitan.com/sentinel/ - log in to the game, start Sentinel up and log in (create a Titan account if you don't have one), then go to Tools > Utilities, and export your build. Import through Mids.
Yes. Every single enhancement on my Force Field Defender that can be boosted, is boosted +5.

Alrighty, I'll download Sentinel when I get home from work tonight and give it a go. Thanks.
  4. Here is the build I am currently using for my level 50 Force Field / Fire Blast Defender. I hope it helps someone.

  5. Okie, something is definitely off in travel speeds between Mids' and City of Heroes. I completely rebuilt my Mids' build from scratch last night, in case I somehow made some sort of error I overlooked in the original build. It still shows the super speed speed as 89 MPH, while in game still shows the super speed speed as capped at 92.5 MPH. In fact, the in game Combat Attributes shows that my super speed speed would be 98.34 MPH if it wasn't for the speed cap.

Here is the data chunk for the Mids' build I rebuilt last night:

    Request
is a much bolder color and more noticeable unlike league chat and even though I surely understand you can color chat, I personally don't bother to take the time doing it and perhaps others do not as well!
I agree, and I went back to using the Request channel on raids and trials I lead myself, as there's just too much chatter on the League channel and people will miss what I say. Unfortunately, that has its own critics as a couple of people have complained that I "put too much red tape" on my raids and trials, as they do not have the Request channel on a chat tab, and will not add it just for me "since there's a perfectly good League channel already." :\

Just wanted to point out that it's possible you'll get flack either way, unfortunately. Part and parcel of leading something.
  7. Just fyi in case anyone would care to join me, I will run the old school Maria Jenkins AV mission arc tonight at 8 P.M. ET / 5 P.M. PT via Ouroboros flashback. It will be a speed run set at +1 with AVs. Let me know below if you're interested, or send me an offline tell in game.

    4. Super Speed

    5. Several IO set bonuses

I have the Commuter day job badge, but I believe the buff only lasts two hours, and I was on for much longer than that. No Fortune buff.
  11. In my Mids' build, it shows my super speed speed as 89 MPH. Using the exact same build on live, the game shows my super speed speed capped at 92.5 MPH. There seems to be some sort of discrepancy between Mids' and the actual game. Is Mids' travel speed wrong?
  12. Celestial Inferno, a Force Field / Fire Blast Defender, dinged level 50 last night. It took a little over a month, but I now have my first natural level 50 on Exalted!

    Now the real fun begins.

    A Date With Hami

There will be a blue side Hamidon raid tonight, y'all! Same Bat-time, same Bat-zone.
  14. I suggest revamping the Dual Blades combo system to match more that of Street Justice. 'Cause while I love the look and feel of Dual Blades, I much prefer the combo system of Street Justice.
  15. FYI, this game essentially became pay to win the moment Enhancement Boosters were added to the Paragon Store. Not that I'm complaining, mind you. I fully expect that to be the tip of the iceberg though.
  16. Which would be more effective for blue side teaming - a Dark / Fire Defender, or Fire / Dark Corruptor?

Mostly, I'm wondering if the higher debuff values the Defender provides would outweigh Scourge...

That's par for the course since Exalted opened. Most of the post-50 content I've done on Exalted has been with a large number of melee toons. I can't blame 'em. I love playing Brutes myself. But, any raid or trial with an overwhelming number of melee or DPS is bound to fail. That's why I've made and leveled two Force Field Defenders, 'cause I can't count on someone else bringing one to Rikti mothership raids, and bubblers are crucial for their success, (albeit less so now with Barrier and Clarion Destiny powers).
  18. Just a reminder that I will not lead a Rikti mothership raid tomorrow night due to the Halloween content going live. I will lead two back-to-back Rikti mothership raids next Thursday. Enjoy the haunted house, y'all.

  20. My Force Field / Fire Blast Defender dinged level 41 Sunday night. I thought, "Great! Now I can get Tina MacIntyre's mission arc and start working on the Portal Jockey badge!" I sped through five radio missions in Peregrine Island, did the Founders' Falls Safeguard mission, went to talk to Mr. McLord... and no Tina MacIntyre. He offered me Indigo, Madeline Casey, and someone else as contacts.

"Great. Well, I'll just pick someone, run their missions, and then I should be introduced to Tina."

I selected Madeline Casey. I mean, the Madame of Mystery is a chump, right? And who doesn't love Carnies?

So I spent four hours last night soloing Madeline Casey's mission arc on my Force Field / Fire Blast Defender, including three "Defeat 45 Carnies in PI" hunt missions. When it came time to confront the Madame of Mystery, I recruited some help and took her out. Then I called Madeline Casey up, and asked for a new contact.

Indigo, Janet Kellum, and some other guy. No Tina MacIntyre.

What does a guy have to do to unlock Tina MacIntyre as a mission contact?!

I mean, as much as I enjoy soloing Carnies and Malta on my bubbler...

Friend, do I have the answer for you!

Super Strength / Shield Defense Brute.

It's a toon with the two best melee AoE attacks in the game, lots of knockdown for mitigation, and you generate so much threat that not even a Tanker could steal your aggro. Mobs won't be going anywhere, except to you.
  23. I agree there is too much content between level 20 - 29. I already had to turn off XP twice on every toon to finish Faultline, Mercedes Sheldon's mission arcs, Striga Isle, the new Talos Island mission arcs, and Croatoa. Then they added First Ward. Which I've skipped completely on new toons, 'cause, as I said, I already have to turn XP off twice between levels 20 - 29, and doing Striga Isle and Croatoa stuff unlocks task forces.
