I've done more task forces with my Defender in the past couple of weeks than I've done strike forces in the past two years. :\

Wait... Wait... You mean I've been on Champion all this time, and could have been spanked?!

How would a SS / SR Brute be for farming? It looks good to me in theory, but I never see it mentioned alongside SS / WP or Elec / Shield.

I've played redside almost exclusively for the past three years or so now. However, my server, Champion, is / was in desperate need of bubblers for Rikti mothership raids, so I gritted my teeth, and made a new Force Field / Dark Blast Defender.

I can't wait until Going Rogue. I started off in Galaxy City, 'cause lol, Atlas Park. My first contact pitted me against the evil forces of Vahzilok. A lone Force Field / Dark Blast Defender against Abominations, Reapers, and Mortificaters. Not a pretty sight.

Having managed to slog my way through that, I did some radio missions in Kings Row. Wow, they finally added stores there!

Then came the Positron Task Force. "Hey guys, come to Steel to meet me and start my TF!" "Okay, great, we're here in Steel." "Okay, good. Now, go to Skyway." Huff, huff, huff. "Okay, we're done in Skyway." "Great! Now come back to Steel!" Huff, huff, huff. "Okay, we're here." "Cool. Now go beat up these guys in Skyway!" "Again? Okay." Huff, huff, huff. "Vahzilok are terminated, sir." "Good job, guys. Now, head off to Perez Park." And so on, and so forth...

After all that running around, I decided to cool my heels and do some AE missions in Atlas Park. Yes, I know, I'm dirty.

Then, out of sheer and utter boredom, I decided to organize a Citadel TF. "Okay guys, I'm here in Talos, right next to the tram. Come to meet me for some great missions." "Okay, we're here." "Great, now go all the way to the southern end of Independence Port, and beat up some Council." Huff, huff, huff. Finished, and ran all 1.5 km back to Citadel. "Good job, guys! Now, go back and beat up some more Council!" "Wait, this is the same spot we were just at. You mean I have to run another 1.5 km back to where we just were?" "Yep." "$@*(!"

Last night, I ran a mission to unlock the Science Enhancement store in Brickstown, which is a frakking maze of a zone.

Why do people still play blueside again?

What would be the best secondary to go with Thugs for farming? I would think /Dark or /Storm?

to the OP, I know you've already started a defender, but it seems like a troller would be better so you can get Indomitable Will...sure the bubbles will provide less defence..but with Indom Will you'll be detoggled (surpressed) less..

and i wouldn't worry about your damage output..just keeping the bubble up :P

I had two Controllers before, and deleted both of them. I hated it. It's just not me. If I can't at least attack something directly once in a while, I'm not happy. On the other hand, I'm enjoying my new Defender. Sure, I'm not doing oodles of damage, but at least I'm attacking between buffing my teammates.

I got my FF / Dark Defender to level 29 last night. Thanks for the suggestion to take Repulsion Bomb. The power is hilarious. I feel like I'm throwing a basketball, and then *boom*, down go the bad guys.

I ran my first task force yesterday with my level 25 Force Field Defender, the Positron Task Force. It's been years since I last did a task force, and even longer since I last ran a Positron Task Force. I was a tad worried, but it went very well. I did it with 3ECHO9, and Battling Beastman. All three of us died once each, but we completed it successfully in less than three hours. Not bad for two Force Field Defenders and a Scrapper. Thanks for the great Task Force, both of you.

2 P.M. ET? PT? Klingon time?

Two weeks ago, I was playing my Elec Melee / Willpower Brute. I was level 19, and teamed with a level 28 Arachnos Widow. I kept running out of endurance, and said I couldn't wait until level 20 and Stamina.

"What's Stamina?"

...

Then I looked at her badges, and saw she had the 21 month veteran reward badge. :\ I don't think she was joking, either.

Any PvE content that requires you to do PvP content is inherently broken.

I just want to thank Lauralla for organizing a successful redside respec trial last night. It was fun. We need to get more strike forces and trials going redside.

Oh, I forgot to mention that Friday night is right out for me, but I could do it Saturday evening.

I'd be up for one with my level 50 Dark Melee / Willpower Stalker, Dusk Striker.

I enjoy playing villains. In fact, I almost entirely play villains. I would really like extra endurance for my characters. The only way to get extra endurance redside is to PvP. I haven't PvPed yet. So, no, extra rewards won't entice me to PvP. In fact, you could offer to pay me $10 million dollars, and I still wouldn't enter a PvP zone.

Way too soon.

And this is why I'll never do a STF, a LRSF, or Hamidon raid, as you seem to be expected to have a shivan and a nuke or two for those. I haven't been in a PvP zone since Issue 6 went live, and I'm not about to go in one now.
