SS / SR for Farming
It could work, just not as smoothly as SS/WP or fast as SS/FA. Whats also important is most people farm Nemesis villside and any spawn big enough to be farmworthy is gonna shred SR because of all the Vengeance.
The Melee Teaming Guide for Melee Mans
Yes, as Silas said, you must be careful of groups with a high degree of accuracy. Groups like Nems will hit you for that reason pretty solidly.
Even though Super Reflexes has been around longer than Shield defense, it is still relatively new to brutes, so there may not be too much in the way of guides available to you.
I think SR may not be the best farmer because it has no heal component and no damage aura. I might be wrong in your eyes, but that is how I see it.
Words to the wise aren't necessary- it's the stupid ones that need them.
"You're right...I forgot...being constantly at or the near the damage cap is a big turn off. Definitely not worth it."

Make a mission with all LT class Freaks
Set the mission to have objects that the freaks attacke and cause ambushes
Make these object give buffs like those CoT crystals(+regen/+recovery)
Your SS/SR will great on an outdoor map like that since the ambushes herd themselves, freaks dont have vengeance and the objects will give you all the +end/+regen you could ask for. The regen willl help since you dont have a self heal too. You dont get drops for recipes but a good outdoor map of 3 or more will easily cap you for tickets each run so you can do a lot of random rolls.
As far as the TV mission goes I have farmed it a lot on a SS/EA w/ capped defenses and once you get 2 Veng stacked you are going to start getting hit. This isnt too much of a problem with LT/Min mobs but boss mobs with Veng can be nasty for Def toons. /EA has a minor heal its AoE end drain/recovery which helps since its a small per target heal but some insp usage will prob be required here and there.
My 2inf
I was farming Nemesis with my SS/SR brute with no problem before the introduction of AE. Of course I always had a kin with me for SB and FS so minions and lieutanents were dead awfully quick. The bosses hurt a bit once their vengence went off but they weren't on their feet long enough to do any real damage. Besides I had aid self as backup.
As for AE, SR brute is super easy. 52 bosses are a joke for my SS/SR and he can even survive a full group of 54 bosses for a while, good enough to be the lead brute if needed. Granted, he won't do as well as a stoner but it's still better than other sets. I've lost count the number of times I saw a WP brute face plant to a group of 54s.
How would a SS / SR Brute be for farming? It looks good to me in theory, but I never see it mentioned alongside SS / WP or Elec / Shield.
