Sorry to hear about your rough go at it.
Are you forming your own teams? Sending out concise and coherent tells asking to join?
With the SSK feature now forming a team became a lot more user-friendly and accessible.
If you're not actively trying to recruit a team, are you putting up your LFT flag? Are you stating you're LFT in /b?
Join one or some of your server's global channels.
Check your server's forum for the list of supergroups that are recruiting. It's usually a sticky.
If you are not being pro-active in getting what you want from the game, in this case teaming, then there is not much use in complaining about it and giving suggestions that are highly unlikely and possibly may not help anyway (read: not being pro-active in the first place). I'm not saying you aren't, just if you aren't.
I hope things begin to turn around for you. -
Welcome to both of you to the game and the forums.
There's a lot of terrific resources here and wonderful people in the game. Don't hesitate to ask questions, explore, and meet new people.
Have fun! -
If their hair and weapon aren't the same colour as the rest of their outfit they get an invite.
Just kidding, obviously.
Player ability and comprehension is my vote. -
Good point, Mebs.
To comment strictly on what you said, one does get the feeling, if they read the boards, that a sucky experience in pvp is going to be had regardless of how well they do, broadcast babble or the actual pvp battles themselves because of all the negativity about the entire system and it's participants.
Of course, all the comments regarding all of the above have a glint of validity to them at the very least.
When the pvp'rs (generalized) are dismayed and speak of all the wrong with it it doesn't promote a feeling to someone that makes them want to give it a shot more than a few times. They would go into the experience expecting a negative return.
Just a few of my thoughts. -
Wowzers. I never expected to get -rep for welcoming a new player to the game. With a comment of '/snort' no less. Of course it was annonymous.
C'est la vie. -
Level capped simply means a L50. Everyone else gets xp no matter what, unless they turn it off in Options.

Quote:I would subscribe to this newletter. Here's what you do:
1. Make a character named "Sewer Brawler".
2. Go straight to Atlas.
3. ONLY fight on sewer teams... for 50 levels.
4. Six slot Brawl and put it on auto as your main attack!
I'll 6 slot brawl when it gives +End or even a chance for.
Although...
This is also a very intriguing idea. -
I'll exemp down to any level in most cases when asked or given the opportunity. I have a few characters with "LFT -- Any Level" in their team comment/tag.
Some characters are a bit gimped at earlier levels so they may not accept the invitation, but generally those characters that are like that also have dual builds to allow for circumstances such as these.
I like all my powers, but I enjoy my characters more. I also like the opportunity to hang with friends or help some newbies out. -

Welcome to the game, Vincent!
Brilliant observation, as well. -
You want to check out your difficulty settings, particularly the boss/no boss option.
Frankly, PK I'm surprised at this newbish behavior.Read teh manual d00d.

Quote:I did the same thing on my tank. While it wasn't a cakewalk (I fell about 3x) after I got a End Drain Resist temp power from the base things went a lot better.Well, it may not have been the best idea, I blindly cranked it up to +0/x8 and opened the paper... Hmmm... Malta, Circle, or Carnies...
CARNIES!!!
Level 50 Bots/Traps, it was a cakewalk.
It really was good fun and I got the Illusionist badge to boot! -
It's the first day of a new Issue. Is it really that surprising that people are doing other things?
AE will change to be sure, but die? I doubt it. -
But doing it to "catch up a friend in levels" is altogether different somehow?
It souds like you're saying, "but I'm not doing it the way they're doing it and for different reasons so it should be okay to do it my way." But is it really that different just because of the way you spin it?
There's also the Level Pact option.
I'm just playing devil's advocate here for the sake of discussion. -

Huh, I just got a 84Mb patch.
Maybe I has super-secret-surpryz. -
*crack* *pop*
"Oh, yeah right there. That's the spot." -
This is x-posted from the multimedia forum, but I thought I'd share 'cause I laughed and thought others would like to see it. The dialogue is terrific.
Link to the vid is in the 1st post of the thread.

This is essentially the same as Surveillance from the Blaster Munitions APP, but without the debuffs isn't it?
If so it'd be an alright vet reward.
