    I can confirm that I got a reward (10 threads) two times tonight on a Hero.

    I'll be going for 2 Astrals tomorrow!

    Anyway, just an FYI, I was able to claim the 10 Threads twice. I heard in another thread that you can claim each reward twice per week. I have no clue if the is WAI, though.
  3. Yes, this is normal behavior for that pseudo-GM. Not sure why, but it is.
  4. Today's response amounted to:

    Investigating. 48 hours.
  5. Updated my Post that I linked above with today's response.

    It is quite possible they gave everyone their September points up front. In which case, I understand not getting the points. But, I want to be TOLD so.

    However, my tokens were exactly right at launch. I hit 84-months on August 15th.

    84/3 (vet badges) = 28
    84/12 (years) = 7
    1 (retail code) = 1
    1 (free 1st for all) = 1
    Total = 37

    +1 for first point purchase = 1
    Total = 38

    This is exactly how many I have. I did not get a Token for September's renewal date, early or at renewal.

    So, something doesn't add up, one way or another, unless the Tokens and Points are backloaded. That is possible and noted as such.

    I just want clarification of what's going on.
  7. Today's response was thus:

    "Thank you for contacting NCsoft Account Support.

    We are in the process of investigating this issue for you and you should receive an update within 24 hours. We may need more time if you contacted us on a weekend or holiday, but someone will respond to this support ticket as soon as possible."

    Here's my thread going on that subject. My account renewed on the 15th, and I got no Token or Points...

    http://boards.cityofheroes.com/showthread.php?t=271907
  9. Update as to my Petition status:

    I have received 4 emails in response to my petition. Here is the body of my petition, which I tried to keep brief, but didn't come out as clearly as I had hoped...

    "I got the proper points and tokens on the 13th/14th. I got the token for my Points purchase on the 15th. My account renewed on the 15th, but I didn't get a Token or Points for it. I realize that Points/Tokens are awarding monthly, and not front-loaded. Are the Tokens/Points for subscribers happening at the beginning, and mine just messed up? Or, are they happening at the end of the subscribed month(s)?"

    Response1: "I am escalating your petition for review and a Senior Specialist will be in contact with you as soon as possible. You should receive a reply within 24 hours."

    Response2: "We are in the process of investigating this issue for you and you should receive an update within 24 hours. We may need more time if you contacted us on a weekend or holiday, but someone will respond to this support ticket as soon as possible."

    Response3: "I am transferring your ticket to the City of Heroes Team to further assist you. Someone will be in contact with you as soon as possible."

    All 3 fairly typical and par for the course.

    Latest Response: "Please visit the link pasted below for information about how Paragon Points are granted.

    http://boards.coh.com/showthread.php?t=264018

    If you have additional questions, please let us know and we'll be glad to assist you further."

    Not very helpful, and seems to have ignored my initial submission almost completely. I responded thusly just now:

    "Thank you for the link. I have read that before, and just re-read it again now. It doesn’t answer my question at all. It cover mostly issues for BEFORE Freedom launches. It only states that you will receive 400 (or 550 if Tier 9) points per month subscribed after launch.

    It does not cover WHEN the points per month after launch will occur. My subscription renewed on 9/15, 2 days after Freedom’s launch. I paid the 3-month plan cost ($41.85).

    I did receive the correct Points and Tokens for Freedom’s launch, as well as the Token for the $5 worth of Points I purchased. These show up in my history.

    I received NO Points and NO Tokens for that renewal. I did not expect to receive all 3 months worth of points/tokens up front, as it was stated on the boards that they would not be frontloaded.

    I did, however, expect to receive ONE months allocation, 1 Token and 550 Points (I am Tier 9). I did not. So, either it was supposed to have awarded, and didn’t, or it comes at the END of each months subscription, which is possible.

    This was what I was seeking clarification on, as I expected an allocation at my renewal."

    Now, hopefully, this will get a more appropriate response.
  10. Open up the store, click on "my account", login. Now select "billing summary" tab and scroll down to the "microtransactions history" section (last 90 days).

    Assuming they are both under the same master account, you should see all of the transactions. But, there is an "account name" label that should help you separate them.

    That is actually a "sub-zone" (kinda like stores) and is one single space that all players with that mission share.

    It's a way to minimize use of the instance-map-server by lowbies.

    Doh! That makes sense, though it would be nicer if it auto-selected him to make it obvious.

    Thanks!

    edit: Wouldn't you know it. Upon completion and exit from the last mission, this time it directed me back to Habashy correctly.

    I'll try it again just to see. It was fairly short.
  14. I just ran Habashy's arc via Orou on my main.

    At the defeat of the final villain, I got the Savior of Atlas badge.

    However, the Arc didn't complete. I had the "return to contact" message.

    But, I chose to arrest Habashy, and he was phased out of his location.

    So, I couldn't "complete" it. I had to quit the Orou TF mode.

    Now, unlike all the others that are completed and have a "star" next to them in Orou, this one doesn't have a star.

    Not a huge deal, but also not the "standard" behavior. I bugged this in game, too.

    I did send in a petition for clarification, but I think it's probably WAI.

    I was going to give it a few days before making any fuss over it, though, seeing as how the transition only just occurred. But here we are with a post, so I figured I'd chime in with my experience.
    I'll reply again once Support confirms this WAI or not.

    My renewal hit on the 15th (late in the night). It is now the 17th, and no points or token. So, that's not the issue.
  16. It's just weird. I pay for 3 months, I get 3 tokens and 3 point allotments.

    But, instead of getting one now, one in a month, and another in another month, I get one a month later, one a month after that, and the last the month after that.

    That last one will come on my next payment due date. So, if I don't renew then, I'll still get a Token and Point allotment (as I am due 3 for this payment).

    That just seems awkward.
  17. Ok, I was expecting it at the beginning of the cycle, not the end. That's where my understanding went wrong.

    It seems a bit odd to give you a token and points at the end when your subscription may be running out.
  18. Ok, on the 14th, I got exactly the Points and Tokens that I expected to get (400, 400, 400, 400+150 = 1750). I also got the exact number of tokens I expected (same as I got in Beta).

    Yesterday, on the 15th, I was slated to auto-renew for 3-months. Yesterday evening, that still hadn't gone through, but I decided to wait until today to see if it hit late last night. In the meantime, I bought 400 points ($5).

    These points added and gave me a Token (first purchase).

    Today, I look and see that the renewal did go through last night. Now, I know that we aren't getting the lump of tokens up front, and the points are to award monthly.

    However, I didn't get a token or points from the subscription renewal. So, my question is this...

    Are tokens/points awarded monthly supposed to come at the beginning or end of the month?

    I just wanted to verify this before I sent in a petition, as I'm sure they are already swamped with them.

  20. I can find the "aura unlock" via text search. But, for the life of me, I can't figure out which menu they have it buried under.

    I'm now just curious to figure out where the heck they stuck it just for the sake of knowing.

    Any clues?
  21. This is in the patch notes:

    "Power Pool Changes
    • The first and second tier powers in Fighting, Concealment, Leadership, Presence and Medicine are now available at level 4 instead of 6.
    • The fourth tier power in Fighting, Concealment, Leadership, Presence and Medicine is now available at level 14 instead of 20."

    So, I didn't think this had made it in. I thought it was only the Travel power pools that got this change.

    Has anyone tried this yet to verify if it does work like this now?
  22. Grounded provides Mag 15.6 KB/KU protection "when on the ground". The Steadfast KB will provide Mag 4 KB/KU protection at all times, giving you some KB/KU protection when jumping/flying. They will combine for Mag 19.6 KB/KU protection when on the ground.

    Grounded also provides Mag 6 Immobilize protection, which according to the description only applies when on the ground, but may actually apply all the time (I'm not sure). I have Combat Jumping, too, so I don't have to worry about it since CJ has lots of Immob protection.

    Grounded also has 86.5% Resistance to End Drain. This stacks with End Drain resistance of Static Shield. Elec Armor is basically immune to End Drain and -Recovery thanks to SS and Grounded.

    Grounded is also nice for the extra Negative Energy Resistance, since that is a low spot in its resistances.
  23. Set diameter regardless of character size/height.

    Perhaps I misread, or maybe even misunderstood the first respons. But isn't the time frame that you use supposed to be the cast time, and not the recharge time?

    Hasten is permanent with this build.

    Now, with the accuracy, I have plus 60% just from set bonuses. I also added in the kismet set.
    Well, I forgot to turn the accolades and alpha slot on the first time. Oops.

    I was using the cast times, factoring in Arcanatime. Open up Options->Configuration, go to the Effects&Math tab, then check the box for Use Arcanatime. This gives more true to life "cast" times.

    Under this tab, you can also change the default 75% to-hit amount. The chance to hit +4s is 39%. I have 39% as my default setting nowadays.

    So, that 0.23 gap I had in there goes away, thanks to the Alpha recharge buff (as well as the small Hasten gap goes away, too). Plus, the final to-hit of each power looks much better, now. The lowest one is 90% on Incinerate (and that's only at +4).

    So, now you get:

    GFS(2.508 arcanatime) + INC (1.848 arcana) + CR (1.716 arcana) = 6.072 seconds chain time

    Dmg (at 65% fury):
    GFS = 516.5
    INC = 413.2
    CR = 378.3 (this may be off, it's in such small print on my display)

    Total Dmg = 1308

    Rough DPS = 1308 / 6.072 * 0.95 (max tohit)= 204.6
  25. Caulderone

    Dps question.

    Using the attack chain of GFS-Incinerate-Cremate, here is a basic breakdown...

    GFS(2.508)+INC(1.848)+CR(1.716)+0.23(pause due to GFS recharge)
    comes out to chain cycle time of 6.088 seconds.

    At 65% fury (your 70% is too high to be realistic probably), damage is...

    GFS = 468.8
    INC = 364.9
    CR = 329.4
    Total = 1163.1

    Rough DPS = 1163.1 / 6.088 * 0.95 = 181.5
    (assuming 95% acc, which you aren't even close to against +4 mobs)

    This doesn't take into account many things (varying accuracy, build-up, hasten downtime, etc.), but it's a quick, rough look.

    edit: PS, you'd probably be better off with the Perfect Zinger - Chance for Psionic proc in all 3 attacks. 20% chance vs 15% chance (same dmg).
