Quote:Holy moley! That's all kinds of funny! What you said is amusing, but the juxtaposition of it and your sig just makes it that much better.
I totally didn't do that on purpose, but now I wish I did!
(It's even funnier if you watch the video to see how stupid it is. . .)

Samuel_Tow,
The first time I've EVER succeeded at this mission was last week. Like you, I've turned it down, outleveled it, etc. to no avail a lot of times. A friend and I somehow managed to pull it off.
I agree that it's stupid. Like Nethergoat, I'm all for new mission styles, but it's really goofy to have a mission that's so easy to fail just by entering the mission. -
I'm not going, but I meant to update the thread. At this point, I'm just going to wait until all the HeroCon info is available and quote/link it here (for all the lazy pantsless people).

Quote:I figured it was something like that, but I wouldn't call it WAI. It would make sense for them to ignore spawning rules.I believe this is actually an issue with enemy spawning rules.
1) Enemies don't spawn if there's nobody in range for them to matter
2) Enemies try to avoid spawning if someone can see them
If there's nobody in the Vanguard base, the targets won't spawn (they're technically enemies, and if there's nobody around, they're not needed). If someone logs in within view of the targets, they won't spawn (someone can see them). The rest, I suppose, depends on whatever spawn/despawn timer they're on. -
Quote:Meh, Kickblast probably has everything they've ever done memorized, so he'd have the Superfan title. If you watch the Captain Dynamic videos, there's only one character in the arcs that you don't see in the videos.I have to imagine running the Rooster Teeth arcs with RvB superfan Cath on the team would make the experience much more entertaining than running without.
It's really cool that they put "real" people into the arcs, though. That was a funny surprise for me. -
I thought for sure this was concerning the bug where they don't "spawn" for some reason. It's hard to test attacks when there's nothing there. :-/
-
I know there's a chance that bugs still exist with the maps; however, it stands to reason that the maps are being put back in the game because they are fixed.
Also, the whole point of them going to test is to try to break them this time around to see if the devs fixed the bugs with the maps.
Go. Hunt. Kill Bugz.

"OMG, it's the LOLBAT!" (arc id: 337435)
- OMG! Your new contact on the street is none other than the internet meme-obsessed hero, the LOLBAT, and he brings grave if not confusing news. The Algonquin Hate Table, a rogues gallery of the LOLBAT's greatest foes, are looking to expand their heinous if not artfully influenced crime syndicate into Paragon City. If you know what's good for you and the citizens you protect, you won't let that happen. Luckily, the LOLBAT knows how these guys work and he's ready to help you defeat these pompous profligates.
