I have characters on both Union and Defiant, both sides. The best way to level on Defiant red side is to find active vg or to follow Defiant Events channel and join sf, when someone is organizing it.
Red side on Union have more people, but can be as lonely as Defiant.
Better try first checking for active VG, because character transfer isn't free anymore.
Also since you are level 42 you can do ITF

Can't say for sure this much in advance, but if everything is ok in RL I can offer empathy/dark defender or stone/stone tank

Just one question.
Will we be able to send inf, enhancements, etc across servers or just between alts on same server?
Half my alts are on Union and other half is on Defiant - will I be able to send inf from Union alt to Defiant one and vice versa?

NCsoft would know exactly how many MA boxes it sold in 2009 in EU and I'd gather it was not that many (and yes, distribution would definitely have been an issue, but that's not how these decisions are made - it would be the absolute numbers that would be considered).

When I have finally bought computer that can run CoH - there were no CD's available to purchase in stores anymore, so I had to buy it online. -

I have WM/Shield Brute (currently level 33). She is dieing a lot, but looks really great with Rularuu weapons

I have to get more character slots (or to transfer Warshade to German server), because now I am thinking of making 2 corruptors.
I enjoy playing support, but it is so much easier finding teams on blue side than on red, so I have to look for one that can survive on her own.
My next project will be fire/dark for soloing, but I am also thinking of making sonic/rad corruptor - not sure how good that combination would be solo, but -res and - def would help team a lot (and I hope that my friends will return when GR is out and that more people will come, since red side on EU servers look deserted now).

Now serious: I would like to see more cooperative TF/SF's.
And also it would be nice to team with heroes/villains on lower level also not just after level 35 in RWZ and Cimerora, without having to switch side. So new lower level cooperative zone would be nice.

I suspect one difference in success and failure is build and play abilities that are hard to see from the viewpoint of another player. For example, I've seen a Stone Tank drop so fast and frequently to Lord Recluse that the Emp couldn't keep him alive, and eventually we gave up on that STF after about 5 hours. Conversely, I've seen a different, well IOed Stone Tank tank him without *any* support without much trouble. Both tanks *looked* the same to me, very granitey. Obviously there were build differences, perhaps compounded by playstyle differences, that were unnoticable till we got to a spot that hard. I could see some of it by looking at their IO bonuses, but if I'm team leader I'm very reluctant to start checking those on recruits and kicking people for "non-IO" builds, I'd rather risk success of the TF then go down that road.
Think that builds are not that important but that people know how to play their characters and know how to work in team.
You can still fail ITF (and we all know how ITF is easy) if you have people that don't do their jobs.

Planing to make new corruptor and I am not sure which power sets to choose.
In your opinion which combination would be best for solo leveling both in lower and higher levels (not planing any sets till lvl 50).
So far I have fire/cold - great in teams but very slow by her self and ice/kin - pain to solo on lower levels but getting better in her 30's.
Any suggestions? -

Even with the best team, brute force may not do it. So take a step back and try to make it as easy on you as possible. After 1-9 are said and done, make sure to apply them. Try to pull. Find a good corner to group enemies around. Try to divide the enemies and off-tank some of them so not all the AoEs are landing on one spot. Agree on the kill order ahead of time and focus fire. Discuss tactics and get everyone involved before you leap in. And even if you team wipe, as long as you can recover and take down some Heroes on the way, you'll eventually work through them.
The last LRSF I did, we wiped three times. First wipe we killed nobody. Second wipe we almost killed one person, but got killed at the last second with a sliver of HP left. Second (think this is 3rd) wipe we only killed Numina. Fourth run, we killed everyone. We sidetracked to pick up awakes, off-tanked a group with one Brute (me) holding attention of several Heroes while the others were widdled down. I allowed the other Brute to alpha the psi people while I ran Unstoppable and kept Citadel, BABs, States, and Synapse busy. When Unstoppable was crashing, I pulled back and hit Demonic and inspirations.
Suggestions: Never give up! I must succeed!
I hope next time I try it that will be in team that won't give up even if it takes 2h to finish last mission
Did Kahn TF when first appeared in team of 8 without debuffs - and it was hard. But noone gave up and we made it althought it took us more time to kill AV then do rest of TF (more than 1h on AV).
Unfortunately EU player can't switch to US servers yet, so we can't join teams that do LRSF regulary, and see how you do it.

I did couple of time baby new year mission (-1/8) on my lvl 50 necro/dark without any trouble to get badges quicker.
Since she is on combined IO/SO build without any set, guess with sets she would be able to solo much harder opponents also (used to keep her on vicious while leveling).
To bad that I get bored with repeating same mission so I don't have nerves to farm.

All my characters slot on both Union and Defiant are occupied. I will have to delete my PB if I want to make switch (or maybe I could send alts I play rarely on German or French server and make more room for new alts)

Got 43 seconds on expert with NR+sprint+IR+SB.
Got much better this year - last year I was falling all the time (took me lot of practicing to get gold on main).
Still having trouble on normal - keep missing gates

I have sent e-mail to NC-soft, but maybe someone had similar experience here and can help me.
I can't connect to European servers through my cable provider - getting message Can't connect to DBserver when I try.
Trouble is that I can connect to them through Dial-up, and can connect to US servers trough my cable provider (made US account just to test that) .
I don't know reason for that and what to check. I am presuming it have something to do with my IP address but I'm not sure.
If anyone have some advice or know what is the problem I would appreciate any help.
(I also have Guild Wars account and have same situation there - can play in American district but can't get to European) -
I have tried connecting through dial-up (different provider) and succeeded. So I guess that the problem is between NC-soft and my cable provider. That means petitioning to NC-soft and calling provider to see what is the problem.
Edit:
Think the game is telling me to go to US servers since I can log to American servers (made test account there) - I am only cut off from Europe servers (to bad all my characters and bonus packs are on European and not US servers). -
Guess I'll have to check with my provider then. I can log to test server, but still can't log to any European server.

Is it just me or others have same problem.
Can't connect to any of European servers.
(Also I have tried Guild Wars logging and while I can go to American server with no problem I also can't log to European there) -

What? and I missed those raids?
If they can happen of Defiant (where I lack 50's) they should be doable on Union for sure? Or did I miss those as well?
Hope they do merge server list (not servers) since I need more alts.
