After a quick chat with Castle, no...it appears we weren't aware of this particular issue. He's chalking it up to some recent changes with AI and we're going to evaluate what might have changed and how it affects the task force.
So, it's in the hands of the engineers. -
Been done. Castle isn't PVP spec'd, but even so he didn't do THAT badly against Johnny Mercone in the I13 testing phase. I think the final score was 4-1 in his favor. I was expecting worse...
I've a Stalker, a Corruptor and a couple others I PVP with once in a while. -

They were not supposed to. However, schedule conflicts basically meant it was now or never* so, I chose to go with now.

Psychic Shockwave was a 25' area effect power that did single target damage instead of Area damage. That *was* a bug that we allowed to stand until this point, since we were not happy with Dominator Performance as a whole. Now that we have the wherewithal to make the scale of changes seen here, it was time to fix that particular issue.
The power *still* does not obey the exact formula -- we purposefully gave it a damage bonus over what it calculated out to be in order to somewhat preserve the AoE effectiveness of the set as a whole. We did the same with Psychic Scream. We also put these two powers on the Melee damage scales instead of the Ranged tables as well.
Edit: Just checked and the Melee/Ranged table change is not in the version patching today. That'll be fixed for next patch. -

Everyone wants something like this; the trick is figuring out when/how to get it onto the schedule and whether or not the increased infrastructure would be cost effective. -

the drop rate is making recipes over 1 billion for one recipe. theres no way this is working as intended

Think about it this way: Say there is a 1 in 10 chance of a recipe dropping. In normal PVP play, that would make it relatively uncommon and a decent drop rate. However, players could also line up and let a friend kill them repeatedly. Let's say in this circumstance, a player can kill an average of 10 characters per minute. That would mean 1 recipe per minute, roughly.
Our reward scheme is not as naive as what I outlined above, there are other checks to help prevent the Conga Line of Death style of farming, for instance. Still, there are major concerns regarding these becoming too prevalent.
Now, all that said, I'll ask the Rewards Team to take a look at the data and see if we are happy with the overall drop rate. -

I gotta say, I HATE Twitter. If at all possible, I'd like some clarification on this. Is this a temporary problem with the new forums or are we expected to subscribe to Twitter to hear directly from the CoH Devs now?
As others have said, the Dev Digest is kinda broken at the moment. Once it's fixed, you should be able to see our posts a bit more easily. -
So, what you are recommending is we add 33 Attributes which have an Area effect which checks each server tick per defender? I can tell you now that that *would* have a significant impact on server performance.

My understanding is that some of the code which has been written has a side effect of locking out anyone who is not supposed to be authorized from getting to Server selection, much less character creation. Earlier, that code did not appear to be working, which is why folks were able to see the character creator.
The servers have been taken down (meaning, not even Beta testers can get to it at the moment) until this issue is fixed.
Now, amid the cries of "Unfair!" and "Why change this now?" I'll explain the purpose of this code change. What we've done is instituted a "Queue" server, so that on really busy weekends, Freedom won't be listed as "unavailable" if it is full, it will simply put you into the "next available slot" queue. Hopefully, this will alleviate some of the issues that crop up from the full server problem. -
Couple notes:
The Hitting post death thing has always happened but it was fairly restricted to which powers caused it prior to I15. Engineering has found the cause and a fix should be in I16.
As for the AI being alerted as soon as you activate a power (and not on being hit or missed by the power) again, this has always happened but been relatively unnoticable due to certain other restrictions. By broadening the tolerances of those other restrictions (which gives me some freedom to do some things that previously were not possible) this issue became much more visible. We're still looking into solutions to address this in a better fashion. -
