  1. We have the same problem on two different pc's - we can't scroll down to Exalted, it snaps back up as soon as you let go of the mouse button.
  2. Seriously, content aside that presentation is one of the best I have seen in ages. Thats made in prezi? Gotta check out how to do that after my vacation

What about un-redeemed slots for VIP players? I am wondering if I should save my 5 un-redeemed slots for the VIP server - but only if I still have those 5 after Freedom launches. Can you clarify this, please?

Hmmm I thought that you were not allowed to mention what goes on in the J-Gym?

    Seriously though - thanks guys

The ironic - and very sympathetic - twist is that you and J-Force have always been close friends of Top Ten and many TT'ers and still are

Many of our old timers have left but the fact remains that it's a great place to be and mingle with skilled players!

Dude seriously. I hope your children teach you not to be arrogant towards other adults and treat other people with respect.
  7. Great work. Really appreciated

    Thanks!
  8. Did Cimerora random missions today.

    Settings: +0/6/yes/no

    Character: lvl 50 wp/ss tank

As you can see I had a dismal drop rate. I did nothing fancy except running various random missions, some blinkies, some defeat boss etc. No fighting outside in-between missions. Note that salvage drops are spot-on while recipies are... sigh.

GoRo in stores by April 1st? Let's hope so
    Yeah, I'd say that's a safe bet.

Honestly, I liked this interview, it gave me some new information, though obviously not a lot.

Good job from the interviewer to hang in their with the questions even though they couldn't really be answered, I do like the tenacity.

    Very much appreciated

    Pretty weak interview.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Well, when they ask about things he can't talk about yet, what do you expect?

Kind of reminds me of an interview during the first Gulf war where some of the reporters didn't get a clue (not saying that about the Boomtown person.)

"So, where are the troops going?"
"For security reasons, I can't talk about ongoing or planned operations."
"So how many troops are there?"
"For security reasons, I can't talk about ongoing or planned operations."
    "So will you be attacking..."
*exasperated looking general, speaking more slowly*
"For security reasons, I can't talk about ongoing or planned operations."

    [/ QUOTE ]

Oh don't for a second believe the reporters were clueless. They are hoping for a slip of the tongue by asking it another way. This includes the Boomtown person. Had Matt slipped something it would be an exclusive little bit for this to post.

Being the person who did the interview, I thank you for this insight, Rad We journos are not clueless (5 year vet myself) at all, but asking about stuff that's already know is not what we get paid for. Why ask about Issue 15 that's on beta already and that holds no secrets? Of course I try to squeeze bits of info out of Posi - even if that means he can't comment. I think he answered well and in all fairness even did let out some info that was not known within the limits that the company puts on him at this point.

It's the way of the world - we ask questions they don't really like to answer. The rest is for press releases

So when will the servers be merged into ONE server list?
  13. www.notebookcheck.net is your friend.

There are tons of crappy CPU's and vid cards out there, this site has lists that will help you compare them.

    CPU check:
    http://www.notebookcheck.net/Mobile-...st.2436.0.html

    Graphics cards:
    http://www.notebookcheck.net/Mobile-...ist.844.0.html

I'm not much into ATI cards, but if you go for a Geforce card stay away from GS cards and generally don't go lower than a 9600GT if you want to run CoX at the highest detail levels.

CPU wise I swear to Intel's Core 2 Duo, just don't go lower than a T7500 if you can afford it.

My GF bought an Asus with a P8600 and a 9600GT last month, absolutely fab for CoX.

Good luck though, buying a gaming laptop can be quite a research task. The manufactorers put out tons of models and most of the cheap ones suck for games like CoX.

    Arc Reviews

I would like to submit the following arc for review, once you have the time to look at it

Story Title: Hay fever hits Heroes hard
    ID#98079
    Length: Long
Levels: 25-47 / 40-54 (I apologize for that, but Devouring Earth are pretty broken when it comes to lvl ranges)
    Alignment: Heroic
    Creator Global Name: @Captain Denmark
Description: "The Devouring Earth are about to unleash a terrifying weapon that has the potential to render all heroes powerless. Bring plenty of tissues if you try this arc..." (Note: This is for all you suffering from hay fever!)
    Difficulty Level: Moderate
    Mission Count: 4
    Estimated play time: 30-60 minutes

I was suffering from hay fever the other day and got inspired to do this to get my revenge. So if you suffer from running nose, watery eyes, sneezing etc, take a look at this arc. Fight Birch, Hazel and other enemies you loathe and hate!
  15. So I had this great idea for a story arc - involving Devouring Earth. No problem, it seemed, according to mission architect, that group goes all the way up to lvl 54. So I set up the first mission and run a test - discovering that the whole map just spawned two types of foes: Lvl 49 boulders and lvl 51 granites (was running on rugged).

At first I thought that was because I hadn't "bought" the extra enemy pack with DE's, but after buying it, I still only got the two kinds of foes. So after some tinkering with custom groups I realise that's because all other forms of Devouring Earth mobs are set to end at lower lvls - typically somewhere in the early 40s.

That makes Devouring Earth practically impossible to use in a lvl 50 mission, because it's da.. boring to fight an entire arc against lvl 49 boulders (who's lvl range stop at 49) and lvl 51 granites.

As I have only used this on the AE test, I can't say what the spawns will consist of in groups, but since no other minions/leuts go higher than 47 I'd say LOTS of stone tank lookalikes...

Thus I propose a general raise of all or at least of many DE mob types so we can get varied spawns. I don't see any reason why a Bladegrass can't be lvl 50, when a Boulder can.

    Long List:

Snowman head akin to the Pumkin head of Halloween.

Emotes: Snow angel, build a snowman, and caroling

Convert 1 PvP area into a giant snow covered snowball fight, with snow forts, and no powers.

    3 on 3 Ice hockey

Option at end of all TF/SF during holiday event to get equal number of candy canes instead of merits.

    snowman invasion ala zombie invasion

Replace blimp in Atlas with Santa & reindeer

Xmas trees replacing some of the trees in the zones

costume pieces: Fur lined skirts, mittens, elf cap, reindeer antlers

    [/ QUOTE ]

    /sign

And put a big Christmas Tree in front of City Hall!

    [/ QUOTE ]

man those are some of the best suggestions I've seen in a long time. I remember when all lakes were frozen, that really made an impact. The christmas/winter event shouldn't be confined to just one zone - and personally I think it should last all of December.
  17. Just wondering... shouldn't the "siphon life" power count towards the heal badges? I mean - it is a self heal like other powers, it just requires a mob to be nearby...
  18. Or what about those Nerva ghosts? They are overpowered.
