Power Siphon gives all your attacks a +Damage to you when it's active. Those stack up to five times with itself, not the actual ability Power Siphon.
So if you hit five enemies, it'll be giving you it's maximum damage boost. -
According to MIDS, the Scrapper version does slightly more (69.3 VS 60.1).
-
I don't. I never been on a team above four people set to +0/x6 and not had to quit because of lag completely ruining my ability to play.
-
I really didn't mean to offend anyone, if that was directed at me... It's just, I've seen a lot of /Storm Masterminds and all their pets run up to a Market (and /Darks and whatever their toggle is called) and when I'm already lagging to 12-16 FPS from the Market, it makes a huge difference.
-
Speaking honestly, my problem with Masterminds isn't that they scatter mobs, but, in order of importance, that they lag my pretty-low spec computer, and they seem to be one of the most poorly played ATs that get to high levels, because of the relative ease of soloing to higher levels, same as Scrapper and Brutes, while also being easier to annoy teammates with.
Though, sounds like you just got generally bad luck that night. Oh, and please turn off your pets at the Black Market, and your effects, if you don't already. Like I said, Lag, but the Markets are already dense and fully of people too lazy to turn off their toggles. -
Ah, thanks. I guess I'll keep it around to see if it really can be slotted in Lighting Field, like Paragonwiki says.
-
Didn't take Taunt since I mostly solo.
-
I have a Claws/Willpower brute who just got the level 40 version of this Recipe, and I was wondering if it was useful slotted into an attack, or if it's essentially useless to me. Sometimes I feel like I'm doing very little with my Lethal Damage, but it seems to be things that also have Psi resistance that I feel the most pain on.
I have Strike, Spin, Follow-Up, Focus and Eviscerate as attacks.
Another question I have on this; Are there any Taunt Auras (or Damage Auras) that can take this IO?
Thanks for the help. -
This would be hilarious. Super Strength is already Single-Target based anyways, a common theme among Stalker sets, and Rage would work very well with Stalkers. The only thing standing in the way would probably be that Super Strength and stealth don't immediately connect logically.

I can't see how Poison is any less heroic than Radiation Emission, which not only will cause problems for the villians, but for the people who later pass by (at the current rate, I'm amazed Paragon City doesn't have the highest cancer rates in the world; or maybe that's where the heroes we delete go...?).
I fully support Poison getting profilerated. Just, I hope that the ninth ability gets replaced, or it'll suffer from the same issue as Sonic Resonance; needing a teammate to reach your full debuff potential. -
I know this isn't exactly the point, but since resists in this game are a percentage, no matter how many times a power hits, if it does the same total damage, it would do the same overall damage.
For example, if an attack does a total of 20 over two hits, and 50% of the damage is resisted, then 20 - 20x.5 = 20 - 10 = 10 = 10 - 10x.5 = 10 - 5 = 5x2. -
Quote:I disagree, on the grounds that, first, from a roleplaying perspective, leaving them to one archtype really limits you. For example, Villians side, you can't have someone who controls Pain, manipulates the temperature of their surrondings, or has the ability to turn sound into rings that protect their allies and also gets inside their enemies head and defeats them from there. Brutes deserved Claws because not every concept for a clawed villain includes stealthing around, and I'm sure there's a very Brutish reason they might have claws (Werewolves, or some other kind of monster, perhaps?).I would honestly say stop Poliforation, and invent new sets for the ATs,to allow them to keep something special, simply for them.
Secondly, limiting a powerset to one Archtype is limiting it to one playstyle, which can be frustrating for someone who might think, say, Ice Melee looks neat, has a lot of migation options, but they hate playing a tank. I see no reason at all it should stay, eternally, Tanker-only unless they wanted to keep it Tanker-only
I hope I made sense with all of this... -
Quote:I'm no expert on this matter, but I'm pretty sure there's groups of people who dislike/hate every archtype (individually, not as a whole, though I'm sure those exist, too) and people who like/love every archtype on every server.I've found that some servers have anti-kheld factions.
wondering if the opposite were true elsewhere
Pick whichever server you, personally, like best, and just ignore anyone who's acting like that; they'd probably be no fun to play with, anyways. -
No, actually, the movie is named "Beetlejuice" but the character's gravestone says Betelgeuse; Beetlejuice is just how it sounds and, thus, becomes an important part of the plot, sorta.
Oh, and you should be able to fix problem 5 by also having them take damage, though it's still kind of annoying.
Them all dying on level up sounds pretty scary, but at least it only happens on teams. I'd hate having to travel back to a mission 100% of the time I level up. -
I'm going to go /Storm, unless we get Sonic between now and then.
-
I think I'll go with /Energy then. I tend to delete when things get a bit slow, and I think I stand a better chance with it. Thanks.

I'm new to Blasters, but I've always wanted to try them. I've decided on the Sonic primary, but I'm having trouble choosing the secondary between Ice, Energy, and Electricity.
I don't want to play a Blapper, and would perfer to have something that can solo well because I don't normally have enough time to do more than one mission at a time.
