  1. Due to the lack of response, I'm going to cancel this. Hopefully if we can generate more interest then we can arrange for another time.
  2. Okay np it's an unhealthy Jester fettish recently gained.

What specs are you both thinking of, whilst the main aim is to have fun a balanced team would be a plus.
  3. Hello People,

I'm back after a years hiatus, one of my previous highlights was Tuesday Night Domination where a group of 8 of us got together and took a team just made up of dominators to level 50, playing just once a week.

I'm planning something similar on the hero side of things for Monday nights. No more LFT, running around solo or blind pick up debt fest groups.

The only rule this time is that the costume has to be a Jesters and if poss a powerset that matches. I've seen a couple of us running round and a team of eight of us should be fairly striking. So get your bells, pointy boots, chequers, diamonds and masks out.

For fairness, the First 7 to join the Motley Crue are in the team unless we get enough to form two teams. If you could let me know Names and planned Powersets so we can plan out the team, I'm going for a Psi Blaster called The Punster.

Starts next week, we'll meet under the Atlas Globe at 18.45 GMT, make sure your at level 5 and have the first Hollows mission. Any questions just shout Jesters FTW!

    Name change

    Hello Guys,

Old player recently returned. Any ideas on how I can change names of existing characters?

    Cheers
    Chilly
  5. I'd seriously wait gettign Artic Air until post stamina, AA is the most end hungry creature going.
  6. Hello peeps, I see a lot of my fellow Tuesday Dom team are here. I have such good fun with you guys I'd like to join in. Afterall been on for just over a year and have never been to the areana's before. I have the HubbaBubbler boy sitting at 5. He's a Bubbler/Mind Defender.
Let me know when the next meet is. .
  7. My first blaster I rolled is Archery/Energy as I wanted a stalker/sniper build much like Death Dude, Energy is the perfect partner for this, I have both Aim and Build Up and with Hasten I can use nearly all the time, and one shot yellows with my Sniper Shot, have decided to skip fitness and rely on Conserve Power seems to work pretty well as I'm not constantly firing and picking my targets and fall back on power thrust when anything gets too close. Levelling really quickly and having fun. I'm just looking forward to boost range.
  8. The ORIGINAL () team started off at level one and by the end of the first session was Level 9, Look forward to levelling pretty darn quickly.
  9. On Whirling Mace I'd be tempted to remove the Dis Orientates for damage, the disorientate isn't very reliable at all, if you want to use that for PVP I'd go for clobber but be warned damage is neglible. Mace recharges aren't massive and I'd be tempted to move Jawbreaker further down the pecking order as It's pretty good damage. I'd take Hasten as well to counteract granite to a certain extent. I didn't take Shatter either as it does knockback which tankers don't really want. def six slot Earth's Embrace. Ravenhart Lev 50 Tanker Inv /War Mace.

    Storm Defender

Hello, I have a friend, who's pretty new to the game and has just made a storm defender and has asked for advice. While I'm not a noob, I have 0 experience with Storm powers, in fact I don't think I've ever seen one, what powers are good, what kind of order should they be picked in and how's best to slot what. I'm pretty sure it's a Storm dark build, familiar with dark but are any powers that work in tangent well?
    Cheers guys and gals.

    Sniper Powers

Thanks for all your input guys, based on this I'm going for Archery / Energy (can't believe I didn't pick up on this myself as it looks the perfect choice), I appreciate the comments on gimping my ALT by mainly going for Sniper powers but really is a concept more than anything and as stupid as it may seem to some it's more about enjoyment than success rate. (You couldn't tell I'm a West Ham fan with this mentality.)
Will post back at one point and let you know how I've got on. I'm a little new to PVP as my main is a tanker that's pretty hapless at it but is kill stealing all that bad? It happens to me lots and I've never really thought about it until now, I was just happy if the team was winning and I wasn't dying.
  12. travel Power wise I'd be tempted to change to CJ and SJ for the added def bonus of CJ. I agree with everyone else you need to take taunt in the early teens. I did same as Wilfred and dropped Epics in order to fit in all of the Primary, although that was partly concept involved as none of the Epic suited my toon.
Ravenhart level 50 Inv / War Mace.
  13. I only have xp of playing an Inv / war mace so can't comment on The primary side, secondary agree with Hammerfall, I respecced out of build up, IMO the best attack is whirling mace, biggest problem with Mace is that it's two last attacks both come with knock back which as a tanker we want to avoid. I wish they'd replace one so we could throw our mace much like Thor used to with his Hammer.

    Sniper Powers

Hello, I'm looking to make a blaster that pretty much just snipes from the shadows for PVP use, however I've never massively PVP'd and this would be my first blaster so am after some advice.
    Cheers.
  15. I've never been on a hami raid before, but can listen to instructions well enough. If there's room I have Ravenhart Lev 50 Inv War Mace Tanker who'd like to take part.

    quick question

I did mace the hard way as in pre Clobber /Jawbreaker swap, and it was hard work, Whirling mace helped but still slow going, it's highly resisted and 2 of your best damage powers do knockback which IMO Tankers should avoid. I wish they would have added a hurled mace power. Now that would have been cool!

  17. I've got my first DOM which is Plant/Thorns to Lev23 and I took roots and really strggled with End problems as well I'd def but an end reduction in it pre stamina. The best advice I can offer is take seeds of confusion ASAP, (slot for confuse duration and recharge) in my opinion its the best power available and comes really early on. This will help you no end.

    ChillWinston Lev 15 Ice/Ice Dom
  18. I agree with Unthing completely on this. Ravenhart was my first toon and I took all the passives to early and struggled a little. Dull Pain is a fantastic power and increased my durability no end. I would also try and fit in stamina ASAP as with all those toggles running your blue bar will suffer. Finally as a personal preference I took CJ and SJ as travel powers mainly due stacking defence with CJ. (No Need for Acrobatics).

    Ice/Mace Tank

I took Mace as the secondary on my first ever toon and because of that didn't realise the weakness, firstly only smashing and lethal damage which virtually everything has some resistance too. They have swapped jawbreaker and clobber around, which was really needed, clobber had a high chance of stun but did damage of less than 10! Making early levels slow going. If you take Mace make sure you get the AOE ASAP, great for upping damage and keeping aggro. Be careful of the Knockback attacks which are unfortuantely our highest damage, no tanker wants to knockback an opponent, although knock up is great. Hope that this helps, I wish there was an power to hurl mace like Thor and his Hammer (sigh) On a plus side it looks cool and I'm sure you get an extra 5% Acc.

    Tank/tank teams.

I'm sure I teamed with Peasant with Sword in my early levels, I found being tanker was easy to lead from the front whilst taking the Alpha strike, but then relying on a defender or troller to organise from there. At 22 your just hitting the grail that are So's which make surviving sooo much easier, however I disagree with the faster you die the better you play, I often found that if I took too much aggro and died it would pretty quickly turn into a team wipe. Then again I took every faceplant as a personal affront after all I'm not a squishy blaster (Damn the drop after unstoppable).
Teammates deaths always hurt as well, but there's always that blapper who piles in taking far more aggro than is possible to take that you really can do nothing about.
However I agree with you on teaming with tankers, at first I found it a really difficult concept as a lot of people would aggro more spawns than was possible to tank, however as you continue to level the people you team with are better and more experienced (thanks to Stone of Paragon, Jessica Raven and All the guys in the Armoured Core who's advice was unlimiting and essential) I found that with the limit of people you can aggro at 5 (please correct me if I'm wrong) a second tank was a perfect teammate alongside a Def or troll.
All in all I loved my tanker I found nothing better than to be surrounded by a group+3's and to be screaming out come and have a go if you think you're hard enough or is that the best you got?), whilst your team mates are picking off the rest to their hearts content.

  21. Please can you also add Ravenhart, Inv/War Mace Mutant Tanker. Thanks
