  2. on various accoasion i've tried making a pure-empath, the furthest i've gotten to is lvl 17.

    I found it very very hard to find a team that actually wanted an empath to join, even at lvl 17.
    having a pure-empath on the team is, imo, priceless.

    Has Empath's become unappreciated?
    if so, how can we get them back in action?

    i used the map pack from vidiots and i found all the plaques with it, so if it wasnt there last time you/your friends looked its there now
  5. i actually want to have taunt at lvl 4 again, most oftenly when i make a tank i make it all defense from the beggining and just team with it, being able to take taunt at lvl 4 made it run a bit smoother and helped getting in touch with the "power" of tanking
  6. as far as i've seen there is nothing really wrong, oyu might wanna wait with minerals till lvl 38 and take the other powers sooner though, you dont really need it before the 40's and get the entire Earth Mastery pool. its GREAT!!

    errm, a challenge..? last time I did a TF solo, it was simple and easy..the TF adapts to the players in mission regardless to how many start. - I fail to see how this is a UNION event as its just you doing it. and none the less you are trying to make yourself sound "uber" by soling somthing that 100% of the server can do anwyay...

    flaming? maybe a little. since i know raz fairly good ,imo, i can say that this has nothing to do with "beeing uber" its something he has set before himself as a task to be done and he wants´to do it. he posted this whole thing to get ppl that can help him out by being there to start the tf's and a post here is as good as anything if you ask me.

    when you wanna start them off just gimme a shout and i'll stand around for a bit

    i actually heard ppl speaking of this in-game the other night and it has been some sort of bug/wierdyness going on allowing */Mace to take taunt at lvl4

    had it been this way it wouldnt be the worst i've seen. i wont point fingers or share names, BUT, i can tell you that i have once teamed with an invu/ss tanker using NO toggles, how does this info fit with my original post, his reason was end, he thought it was to end heavy to use the toggles (no stamina) and he didnt wanna 'waste' slots on end red's. so, back to the dealeoo, if you guys know anyone using invu/stone point them in my direction please

    well i wont be running tough and weave at all. and when it comes to the end difference between fire and stone the difference is huge...
    i played and invu/fire for a while and compared to invu/stone it hardly has end usage even invy/ss seems like a breeze and thats also very end heavy :/

    i've been playing an invu/stone tank for a while now (lvl 14 atm) and i've been wondering how its recomended to slot AFTER stamina, as it is now i have TI and UY 3slotted for end and the "heavy" attacks (stone mallet and heavy mallet) are slotted 2acc 2 end.
    As it is now i can go through a mish at tenacious without having to rest too often, and i know stamina will clear out some of the trouble. any ideas on how to spread the slots?
    especially TI UY and the attacks.

    @brimmy i aint ever seen punch disorient either it could of been a late effect from jab, if you went jab, brawl and then punch the jab may of dropped an npc's armour (i dont know what they actually have) and made them susceptible to disorient from the duration of it. I know with an unstoppable crash you may find someone slapped a hold on you 5 seconds before you crashed and once you crash you are held.
    Air superiority is great for -fly there isnt enough damage or range for me which is why i like hurl (like? i mean love).

    that would make sence but it has happened whe ni've used only punch as well, must be/have been a bug then, havent played him properly for a while now so it might have gone away. actually, i might just have understood why this happened, i havent played him properly since they took away that multiple hit "bug" on tanker attacks (wasnt too long ago was it?) wich means it could have been a double hit from a disorienting attack followed by punch on the next guy wich made it seem like it made them dissed?

    True, Punch and Air Superiority are much alike in stats... but where the knockdown of Punch is only a chance of happening, it's pretty much guaranteed to happen with Air Superiority.

    If I were to go by looks, I'd have kept Punch. The visual effects of Air Superiority sadly looks rather plain in comparison to those of the Super Strength attacks. The differently colored power icon is a negative as well, in my opinion.

    Never heard of Punch having a chance to disorient - sure you're not mistaking it for Jab, which does have exactly that... a minor chance of disorienting.

    actually i might not be supposed to mention it cuz the nerf-bat will be brought out or summat, but i have been using ss for my glorious tanking days and punch have actually had a disorienting effect, i was stunned the first time it happened since it wasnt supposed to. i also noticed that if you hit someone with KB and they dont get "dissed" a follow up Punch can push them into it.. though i cant wouch for this happening to everyone, maybe its just a rare bug that occured in my toon as a result of changing character size and naming it Brimstone

    i have to protest here, i would not take regen as a first toon, first of all its a squishy toon, and expensive as i dont know what.. spent more inf on my lvl 35 ma/regen than i did on my 50 stone/ss all together

  20. ye i admit that sr has its advantages agaisnt regen, but vice cersa as well, the fact that the mezz protection in SR is a clicky buggs the hell outa me and to be honest i've seen regen's survive more/longer than sr's just because they can self-heal. imo a self-heal goes further than "dodging"... though i have rolled a new katana/sr, wanna get it up a couple of lvls and see what i7 does to it.

    you cant have met a whole lotta scrapper then, just because bs/sr is a good build for your playstyle wich make it work doesnt mean you outshine anyone else.
    Besides, regen is always the way to go

    - A Tanker without mez protection, taunt aura, taunt, or for that matter anything except RPD just can't tank in any form or shape. That character was built at best as a Scrapper, so why not roll a Scrapper and be done with it? He'd even get to do more damage, since obviously he took only damage-dealing powers anyway. Even if he wanted punches instead of kicks, there are ways to fit Boxing and Air Superiority in a meaningful MA or DM build.

    if you read the former posts they say the sentence Role Play a whole lotta times, just cuz you don understand why they have the build they have doesnt make it right for you to rack down on them.. you can tel them what you think they could have done and maybe they will be glad you told them, if not just shush!
