  1. the costume creator hooked me to this game. I enjoy building and creating. The SuperGroup Bases opened up a new door, and I let loose my creativity and created a phenomenal base. Then the SG Base stacking tool was allowed and I took my base architect creativity to levels most online players haven't seen or know is possible.

(I have a 4 story building built within my base - top floor is a penthouse apartment, 3rd is small apartments, 2nd is offices, 1st is like a convention setup... with a stairwell to get to all 4 floors - if i could have made an elevator, i would have)

But this new Mission Architect has gotten me unbelievably stoked. I can't wait till it goes live! From day 1, I created a Story Arc with my main characters. With CoV, it opened the door to expand that Arc. Later it manifested in different ways and gave me my most enjoyable characters. Now with the Mission Architect, I can bring that Story Arc to life and actually play my own characters as AVs. I can't wait!

And for all those out there that had hoped for the doppleganger missions talked about way back when, now is your chance!

  2. Superman 3 tho wasn't a decimal missplacement. it was the .5 of a cent that wasn't added in on the payrole checks. it was tallied all up into 1 lump some which he so gracefully collected =P

as for me, this sounds like a big mess and a lot of work for the ncsoft team to work on. i hope it is corrected as best as possible. i think i had around 100 IO salvage stored in the Consignment House. that would be a pitty to lose.

    EDIT: adding a thought

what if we were given a rewards table that contained all our lost salvage and whatnot. when we logged in, it would pop up, and we could collect what we could carry. keep that up until it's all gone and we would have everything returned. a lot of code, i realize, but just a thought.

    thx

Ill bet Castle is wishing he had never said anything on this post at all.

    Not at all!

Samurai: It was a player, not an NPC. I know, since I was playing him! He is a Spines/Regen scrapper.

The power: What you are seeing is actually a graphics bug created by the demo-record/playback process we use to take screenshots.

    And now you know!

Just add me to the list of people horribly disappointed with the floppy waist cape 'trenchcoat'.

    [/ QUOTE ]

I like the trenchcoats myself. They are sort of Gambit style. I do think they should be a little less animated when standing still but otherwise, I dig em.

Maybe they can add a more billowy version later on (like in Sin City) and maybe they can add a cloth version as well with the back flap and all, but I definitely think they should keep the ones they have as well.

Colors on Justice Armor look different indoors than outdoors. I verified with teammates than indoors my medium blue costume looks like it should, but outdoors it is a much paler almost sky blue.

It's metallic. It reflects the surroundings.

    [/ QUOTE ]

metallic where? i've had a problem where the new graphic system implemented in i7 doesn't seem to be in affect. the metallic look i see on test doesn't show up on live.

i've tried several settings. is there one i'm missing? or is the metallic look not reflecting on live.

I know this has been mentioned, but originally it was rare now it seems to be common....

For some reason when i switch costumes on certain characters while in Sg Mode the colors seem to default to something from the SG choices instead of the color that were choosen for it by me, is there any way to lock the color choices so they cant get a mind of there own during costume changes, its starting to get annoying to have to go in to the SG screen and correct it everytime i change.

    [/ QUOTE ]

same with me as well as when speaking to the tailor. it's been like that ever since the whole /cov 1 fiasco. i believe all my toons are affected by it. same thing with my toon wearing the toga. body reverts to default and black.

    Etiquette question:

Are the fires and raves considered too insignifcant to announce on Protector Watch?

    [/ QUOTE ]

Nope, still lots of folks that want the badges or just to roast some marshmellows.

    [/ QUOTE ]

i wish this would happen. i have yet to do a fire!

  9. bah! i'll give u base bug.

when moving rooms around to better accomomdate members, my entrance somehow deleted itself. just vanished.

i put it back in place, but it didn't connect to either room on either side of it. so, what was there was an open doorway, but no connecting hall between the 2. so, what i had was an entrance, 2 doorframes on either side. a gap (on either side) and the 2 frames leading to either half of my base on either side.

the "gap" was now allowing everyone who entered my base access into base limbo. the matrix grid was there. and if u tried walking off at a certain point, u fell. 1000s and 1000s of digital feet until u finally hit and lost all of ur life but 1 hp. i looked up, and my base was waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay above me. pretty much a dot.

i used my squid form to fly back up to the base, filed a petition, and set in limbo doing yoga contemplating my near death experience. =P

i never got a reply. of course they sent me an email saying they looked for me but found me offline. i was still waiting in the base, lol.

i ended up trying several things before fixing the problem myself. but it was pretty weird for a couple of days. our sg was having pow wows in Digital Limbo. =)
  10. i'm a stacking fool! but i never paid attention to the fact that my single attacks were doing multiple attacks. it wasn't brought to my attention until it was put up on the test notes.

so all this time, i didn't even know it. and now i feel i was let down by something. if i'd know before, i might have used my single attacks more.... but i didn't. i just thought the stack was a cosmetic thing. just really cool to look at. i guess that's all it is now.

The cap didn't exist for the end-of-mission bonus.

So people would often bring their SKs into missions, run around SK'd, then as soon as they realized the mission would end, the SK's would drop their SK status, and collect massive mission bonus XP.

That part has now been fixed.

    [/ QUOTE ]

So there was no cap before? That's a bit crazy. But why 3 levels? That's too low. It seems like they are basing many things around 5 levels with defense and what not, why not make this 5 levels as well?

    [/ QUOTE ]

    a cap did exist.

post i5, u could not get more than a +5 bonus no matter what level u were. it pretty much was equivalent to just over 4x's the even lvl bonus u would have received normally. as u got higher in lvls, this eventually diminished however to maybe twice the standard bonus.

however, even 5 lvls behind the baddies, i could still pop a couple inspirations and hang in there with the team. obviously i wasn't the pivotal key to the team, but i definitely helped. now, we don't even get credit for the baddies we fight if we choose to be in that situation.

the whole point was to eliminate toons standing around collecting xp for nothing, wasn't it? why not make it so the limit of xp is +5 lvls from the baddies and not the highest teammate?
