    Hail of Bullets?

    How's the DPS of HoB on one target? I'm trying to figure out if I should be using it on single targets (since it's the nuke) or sticking to single target attacks.

    See. You're okay with this game limitation, but not okay with swinglines?

    You're okay with Mercs coming down on repel lines from no where?

    You're okay with manholes appearing in office buildings so Thugs can enter?

    You're okay with the Fire Blaster throwing a Fire Blast, that doesn't hurt any nearby players?

    You're okay with weapons appearing out of thin air?

    But swinglines to nowhere is the gamebreaker? o.O

    That all said, if it's a game limitation. Okay.

    But the condition that it would be a swingline to nowhere, as being the problem with the power, just seems odd.

  8. I love this idea, but I do have a problem with it.

    Why a 1 hour cool down? o.O

    How about a 5 minute cooldown, if any cooldown at all.

    For a tanking Scrapper, I wouldn't say /WP is the best choice.

    WP's aggro aura is the weakest of all aggro auras.

    No idea on your budget, but keeping to your build, I just rearranged the slotting. THough without Confront (for single target tanking) or the PResence pool (for an AOE taunt), I wouldn't say you'd be tanking so much as running in and taking the alpha.

    This also isn't what I consider the best for the build, but again, not all sure what you're going for either.

    Shileds may be the set that's more fun to play though.

    Shield Charge means you're using your secondary more than toggle and go.

    That said, personally I don't like the KM animations when paired with shields.
  11. While not always the case, I find usually it's best to just keep all on the one target, whether more arrive or not.

    But knowing the ATs doesn't do much as I would think the Defenders/PB/MM could likely stay at range (though not always the case) to avoid the AOEs, and maybe the dominator depending on the combo.

    And again, if you can use your imagination to say you're sinking down to bottom of the ocean to super jump out of the water, I see no reason to think you can't use your imagination for something like swingline mechanics.

    My magic character summons magic henticles that attach to the sky to swing them across the landscape. There ya go. Swinging anywhere.

    On the horizon is the Rare and Very Rare Spiritual boosts, which should only serve to increase my Damage and Damage Mitigation! I look forward to it.

    I greatly appreciate all of you folks that have contributed! Thank you so very much!

    With this tentative (I don't dare say final!) build I would only have 11 IOs to buy. Well within my grasp, and sooner rather than later!

    This build looks awesome. Makes me want to roll a DM/INV.

    My only thoughts are, going spawn to spawn, your END should be fine enough, I would think you could do without the ENDRED in Fire Ball and possibly move it to Smite for either an ACC/END/RCH IO to buff it's enhancement in those areas OR put in a proc in Smite OR put a -Resist Proc in Soul Drain, since you will be using Soul Drain on the single targets.

    Also, I'd still replace the lvl 50 Generic IO in Siphon Life with a Gogli Hami-O, for added ENDRED.

    o.O WP never needed to take Fitness pool early. Could of easily waited on taking the fitness pool after lvl 20 before.

    But now that's a moot point.

    Dimensional portals aren't solid objects. They are openings between dimensions that allow matter to pass thru them from one reality to the next. Your hook would pass thru the portal not attach to it.
    They don't program you sinking all the way to bottom of the water either, yet that example was given.

    As for the dimensional portal, it opens the dimensional portal, attaches to a floating rock (like you see in the shadow shard) and thusly you can swing.

    Really, I never saw where the swingline attached in the other game, and it was never a problem.

    Also like I said I never IO'ed my invun, or WP, so my only comparison is with SO's. I did half IO my invun, finally, in the attacks. However the only tanker I have ever completely IO'ed is my ice/electric/Pyre.

    My invun is strong enough def/resist for me, that I didn't feel the need to IO his Armor's as of yet. He is collecting dust, because I honestly can't get past my bs/sd/bod scrap.

    But I have seen WP scraps out class in many situations, the invun scrap.
    If I could fit in the self rez into my build, I'd take it purely for concept reasons. It's really just a really lousy rez, because when I die, i'm surrounded by enemies who usually kill me as I'm still rezzing.

    But scrap side I won't have to worry bout tanking much, so I am thinking I might beable to give WP a fair shake.

    I am not looking for arguement, and I am not asking which would be more fun, cuz honestly, fun is a matter of perception in a indvidual. Would just like a show of votes really.

    With Tough/Weave , CJ and the right IOs my WP tanker never felt squishie. o.O

    That said, if you're looking for something different, then I say go with /WP. It's perfect for Dual Blades, as you have 1 clickie power, that when set, will be a (imo) worthwhile power to have, but not used often.

    Attached swingline to a low flying hero/villain/plane/jet/rikti bombship/arachnos flyer that's passing by.

    Tip of hook attaches to a small dimension portal that opens up when it reaches the desired length on the swingline.

    I enjoyed swingline. It was fun for me.

You know, I would think, if a DM/SD is finding they are often Defense debuffed on an ITF (it can happen to Shields and SRs), it MIGHT be worthwhile to slot the NERVE boost for a little added to defense will make a difference. I think it would depend on the build if the Spiritual is of more use.

    I've skipped Cardiac on my DB/WP as I find it's just not useful, however, I've switched between Nerve and Spiritual.

    Super Jumpers manage to super jump from swimming in water, and with nothing to put any force behind, they really shouldn't be super jumping, should they?

    So saying it's limited to only certain areas, would be silly.

    We NEED them as a travel power!

    If not something like Ninja Run, where it's purchased in a pack or as it's own little pay 2.99 get it as a NON TEMP power (so you don't lose it on the Master Runs )

    If put as a new power pool...could possibly go...

    Tier 1 - Swing Line
    Tier 2 - Minor-Moderate (think somewhere around other Power Pool Attacks) Damage Ranged Attack possibly with knockdown
    Tier 3 - Immobilize Attack
    Tier 4 - Hold Attack

    This is just quick ideas on additional uses to put into the pull. And I put the actual Travel power first, as it gives EVERYONE the ability to grab the travel power at level 6 (as a longtime VET I already have this option...so moving it to tier 2 really wouldn't bother me) as I always thought the travel powers should be first, and learning to use the other powers in the pool in combat should be next.
