Well all three are good.
I like Kinetic Melee/Shields the best but that is because I love shields. I would think Kinetic Melee/Willpower would be the best for solo play because Quick Recovery will let you fight nonstop easier.

Shield Charge means you're using your secondary more than toggle and go.
That said, personally I don't like the KM animations when paired with shields.

hmm so far im thinkin Wp or shields. As said shield actually lets me do something other then toggle and go, which is nice.
How is KM for solo dps and stuff? Seems like untill you get So's/sets attached to siphon that its on the low side. Thats why I thought shield due to its damage buff.
Well the solo DPS is good at low levels. You get Quick Strike, Body Blow and Smashing Blow early and they make a good attack chain all the way to level 32 when you get Concentrated Strike. Power Siphon doesn't have that long of a recharge, with 2 SO in down to almost a minute. So you can do so good damage early on.
I'm not to big of a fan of the AoE, one reason I like to hit build up and then use the AoE. That really doesn't work with KM because of how PS works. If you solo it not that big of a deal because do group won't be dead before you use your AoE.
As I said I love Shields and the damage buff and SC does help a lot. If you're looking for more damage then shields is the way to go.

Shield defense also stacks -damage from AAO and the KM attacks.
Comrade Smersh, KGB Special Section 8 50 Inv/Fire, Fire/Rad, BS/WP, SD/SS, AR/EM
Other 50s: Plant/Thorn, Bots/Traps, DB/SR, MA/Regen, Rad/Dark - All on Virtue.
-Don't just rebel, build a better world, comrade! Give in to your inner min/maxer and go with shield defense. Its ease of soft-capping, damage buff, and AOE attack are just too tasty to turn down.

Only defense /shields is inferior on is psi; otherwise, defensively-speaking, it's superior. Nevertheless, call it wannabe-rebelism, but shields are getting pretty trite as an answer to everything. Electric and Dark are also great sets

Well ive just returned to cities after a year or so and I wanna try out Kinetic melee, either on a scrapper or a stalker. My question is whats a good Secondary to go with it. Ive narrowed it down to.
Invuln
Shield
or Willpower
Im mainly looking for solo gameplay, as ive got a fire/fire scrap to handle Aoe farming if the mood arises.
