again, even with that being said...I could easily play for hours with maybe a reboot of the game after a few trials before this. But now its a no go.

I swear, never thought id see a 7 year old game be harder to run than new games like Tera Etc x_X.

Edit: ive been told the new 301 update with nvidia may be causing problems, anyone hear the same issue?

And the issue is..my comp crashed a week or so ago, and I ahd to get it repaired. Mind you i had no new parts put in or anything, just some minor work.

It worked fine back than, but a week later I get it back, reinstall my stuff etc, and now this X_X.

I cant even seem to play for five minutes after the latest patch that added water blast. Simply put after five minutes or less I get this beauty of an error

Now my comp has 3 ram, and while I know that isnt much today, I have my performance monitor up and COH never uses more than 1.2-1.3, No were near the ammount to force a crash.

So whats causing this wonderful problem?

Chrome may be doing it, Just by surfing youtube and stuff on Chrome and having my RAM/memory usage chart on.

Chrome usually sucks up near half a gig o_O

No one?....because i Dunno i can run Tera etc on the highest setting, but these crashes make the game unplayable?

Maybe Ncsoft should hold off on the issues/power sets and take a month or so to really break down this games code and fix the problem, would allow a lot more people to actually.....ya know, play the game >>.

Im sure you've heard this one before. After about 3-4 hours into the game, it will freeze for a few seconds, than when I click it automatically shuts down. I know the problem, and When i played last month I remember there being an easy fix, but I can't remember or find it.

Was it something simple like setting the game in windowed mode or something? Or was it a specific driver for my video card that made it play nice with Coh? I remember gettin the game to run smoothly, just dont remember how xD.

Man i dunno what to make, a few friends have been suggesting shield defense, any info on how that works? I ask cause ive never made a /SD toon, and this does sorta seem a good time, just hopin for some basic info.

hello, I recently became a VIP member, and i started doing the new atlas content, which I add is pretty fun. I beat the very first contact and he opened two more up to me...i selected one and hes nowere on the map or my contact list. Now im level 8, so i gotta visit the detective, after I do that will the contact re-unlock itself or is this a more annoying bug?

Well I got my Kin/Shield scrapper to lvl 20...definatly feeling the sting of low level defense chars as well :P. But im already itching to make a char thats more for wiping out rooms, fast.

Ive done some resarch and from what ive seen it boils down to two builds

Ele/Shield
Fire/Shield

Ive heard Ele can do it a smidge faster, but at the cost of losing a lot of single target damage. Now i have a lvl 50 fire/fire Brute but being as I haven't played the game in a year, fire melee will feel fresh.

Also..as ive not played in a looong while id rather have whichever one has a smoother leveling experiance.

Any comments?

hmm so far im thinkin Wp or shields. As said shield actually lets me do something other then toggle and go, which is nice.

How is KM for solo dps and stuff? Seems like untill you get So's/sets attached to siphon that its on the low side. Thats why I thought shield due to its damage buff.

Well ive just returned to cities after a year or so and I wanna try out Kinetic melee, either on a scrapper or a stalker. My question is whats a good Secondary to go with it. Ive narrowed it down to.

Invuln
Shield
or Willpower

Im mainly looking for solo gameplay, as ive got a fire/fire scrap to handle Aoe farming if the mood arises.
