    Just saying.
This. Lose what's slotted in your slots (better get them out first), but keep all badges, and position in SG. Hell let them choose a new origin too!

Could even have them ported to tutorial, where all they get is the badges they've earned.

Some accolades are level locked, and the ones that arent, won't have you becoming some super powerful lvl 10 character.

This gives people the best way to keep their characters they don't want to delete but pick different sets that for any reason (badges, hate the sets but dont want to delete, whatever) and it penalizes them by putting them all the way back to lvl 1.

    There's nothing OP about this.
  2. Is there a badge to obtain in the new tutorial? I never bothered to check when I went into Beta.
  3. Jubilee, named after one of my favorite X-Men. A white calico who likes to play with her prey. Sooo, that of course means Claws, but she's not all that active...sooo...Claws/Dark Armor, because everyone knows Dark Armor sucks END.

Sabrina, pomeranian put in my care, because my brother and sister-in-law moved to a new place that didn't allow dogs, for her I'm going to say EM/INV Brute...she gains all that toughness she THINKS she has...but she still isn't that tank she wants to be.

    That might be the difference.

I tend to hop around a lot on the edges of the crowd as well as into and out of melee while I kite them. So usually they are slowly (LR debuff) chasing me in circles.

Even then it has a 15 foot radius.

I don't have an issue with you preferring one of the other, but you are saying you prefer 6% Defense vs. up to -40% to hit because of a few runners.

Even with a few runners, I think RI is still the better method of self protection vs. most enemies.
You know, I know it sounds bad. But it just works out that way for me. Fits my playstyle I guess. I always felt like LR wasn't slowing the enemies down enough, and they were running out of RI.

Could all just be perception on my part.

I was already thinking of going Power Mastery before I heard of the PBU combo purely for concept reasons, but was leaning towards Leviathan Mastery, as the armor power is available as a first tier pick (the Cold Resist fits concept too), but with that PBU combo, I'm almost feeling like I HAVE to pick it.

Haven't decided yet though. I think I'll have to wait for the new mids to really make that choice and see how many power options/slots I have.

But totally going DP/Time/Power or Leviathan.

It's not an uber build. It has perma DP, runs a chain of Follow Up-Slash-Focus-Strike, has 32.5% S/L defense, and just over 700% passive regen. It can also chain Follow Up-Spin-Eviscerate gapless if you want an AoE chain.

No purples, no PvP IOs (I could probably softcap S/L if I wanted to acquire the Glad Armor, but I refuse to go to that much effort on a single character)

I just don't post it often because there are usually better builds posted in response to Claws/Regen. But, at the end of the day, *I'M* happy with it, and that's all I really care about.
I'm happy to see any /Regen build that will give me more ideas on how to build mine

Yeah, the Ultimate universe was cool too, until it turned to ****.

Of course the DC reboot isn't even trying to fix continuity, even though that was sorta part of the pitch. It's really no different than Superboy punching the walls of reality.

"Okay, we're using this plot to fix/change some things in our universe's history. You won't know what was changed or how for awhile, but we'll get to it eventually."
Next reboot they'll do it right.

"Okay we're just rebooting it all!"

Not to happy about Red Hood not being a Robin. And some of these changes makes me feel like they just didn't plan it. They picked somethings and ran with it.

Writer/Artist Team speaks up "We want to do stories for Batgirl! Only we want it be Babs, because she was always out favorite."

"We want to write about Superman! But before he was married."

Now, what I do like is seeing Wildstorm put in with DC. I want to see Grifter. But then, I also want to see Gen13 and DV8. And making them part of DC makes this more likely to happen.

Really though, I think they could have done this whole reboot better and still made these changes while keeping things at a simple start.

Sadly though, you'll hear the same thing again in a few years. We're rebooting so new fans can jump in right from the beginning.

I jumped right into X-Men, and then bought a few back issues. And this was back when 14k Buad Modems were fast!
  9. Somewhat brought something up in a chat in game, and it left me wondering...

Will Golden Girl get that name grab before someone else?

I did that, still managed to get runners out of the AOE of the -tohit.

I love RAD, just saying I prefered Cold Domination for soloing is all. For teaming purposes I could use either one.

Between my moderate amount of defense and my high passive regen, I can get through most fights without having to hit a click heal, which lets me save them for when I REALLY need them.
Any chance of seeing that build Claws? Or is it top secret? I know I've been working on Regen builds for non Sword using some, and on my Martial Arts/Regen in actual play I just wasn't happy with it. Maybe it was the low AOE...but I know I'd like to see it for ideas on how you pulled it all off.
  13. Not sure if it's been said, as I'm just replying to the first post, but that's going to happen to anyone no matter when it goes live.

Someone in the game will always have their next badge/year mark on the next day.

Oh I understand the connect of the theft of comics to the Hero/Villain Culture. I just think handicapped people would rather be treated as everyone else and not be treated with special treatment! Or at least, that's what I'm told by the PC folks.

So, with that, I say "That sucks! No one should be robbed. Been robbed myself and I know it sucks. And I hope the thief gets caught."

Couldn't they have done that already? Even if not in the EULA, I'm sure they could of done some trumped up charge on it
  18. I actually prefered Cold Domination solo, more than Radiation Emission.

Yeah, Radiation Emission has the -tohit, but you have to keep everyone in it.

I much prefered having Artic Fog and Sleet, but then that's very late game.

I said "people get robbed every day" not "handicapped people are being robbed of large Superman collections every day" that said, I'd be willing to bet, that yes, "hadicapped people get robbed everyday"

So, what I'm seeing is a post about something that happens every day, someone got robbed.

An EAT centred around lethal damage with little utility could be balanced, though.

One issue with being able to swap between several weapon sets is customisation. The way to solve that would probably be to just add the extra weapons in under the, well, the Weapons header in the costume editor. That way each of your costumes would technically have their own weapons, even for the sets you aren't currently using. They just wouldn't show.
Actually, they could easily limit that with the same way I mentioned the Nuke issue.

One PBAOE (outside of the tier 9), one ranged AOE, one melee cone, and basically the player decides which Single Target attacks fill up the rest of the gaps.

Yes, there would be the issue of redraw, but I think that would just have to be the downside to anyone rolling the Weapon Master, not to mention, they could limit themselves to just one weapon model, but then, while I imagine the AT to be good (like the VEATS) I don't know if I think they'd outshine the specialized ATs either.

Now, if I can send any character over, because it's an account-wide reward, then fine. I still won't transfer anyone - I'll just create a disposable character on Exalted.

I've spent seven years on the same server. All my investment in server-specific things is there. I am not going to uproot to avoid the "unwashed masses" of F2P players. (I learned how to avoid the unwashed masses long ago!) As such, I certainly don't expect to be left out of anything VIP-relatd just because of that server loyalty. I am not predicting that outcome from this event, but if that does end up happening, they're going to be getting some nastygrams from me.
By switching to the Exalted server, I meant alt over. Not transfere a character to it.

For this first event, it's a low level event. So you make a character, joint he event, and get the global badges.

If later there is a high level content, you could always transfere (if you have one) an unplayed character there to participate with.
  23. Bye Westley! See you when you get back after calming down.

  25. This is a low level event, with rewards that are basically global.

So, you switch to Exalted for the event, and then go back to your regular server for regular game play.
