  1. Ahh ok they have a melee hold kinda like seismic smash, that's cool. I prefer the ranged WS version(gravity well? It's been awhile since I've played him) but that's nothing a little tp'ing to the target or using SS won't cure. I love the fact that PB's get a Dull Pain clone and a Reconstruction clone heal and have a variety of melee/ranged attacks. As soon as I finish leveling my Elec/Time I will get started on a PB ASAP.

Some dude named Covergirl used to do this to me regularly before I took a break (he would go into great details by sending tells explaining to me how I lived in my mother's basement and that my father was extremely overweight)...
glad to see things havent changed much
    So much win.
  3. I've got 38 tokens and I received 550PP's. I filled up the tier7(?) and once I claimed the /auctionhouse reward it said I'd receive 150 extra PP's a month.

  5. LOL if he told me that I'd die from laughing so hard. I accidentally got on one of his teams awhile back(didn't check the global first) where he was an ******* the whole time then apologized to everyone after people started quiting team.
  6. I'd say perma hasten so you can have perma chrono shift(+rech portion) but I'm partial to MOAR recharge. I love to have spiritual for the +rech but also for the +heal so temporal mending, temporal selection and chrono shift heal more. If you don't care about having hasten/CS perma then I'd say muscular or cardiac.

While I agree that going for recharge to have controls up is important I also like to build for defense too. Having defense to fall back on when there is to much aggro/ambushes will help you live long enough to control the situation. Also for solo having defense can help you save endurance by not needing to constantly using all of your controls and save them for when things start going south. You can make a build with plenty of recharge, defense and recovery while maintaining plenty of controls, especially with /time.

That guy can't be bet. I remember the first time I ran across that guy. I was shocked and amazed by his "intellect" I was dumbfounded.....

I'd say his RPvP skills are up there but that'd be insulting Rei.
  8. If you don't mind picking up primal mastery for power boost, you could free up some of those set mules. I'd also recommend putting more end reduction into artic air since that thing is a pretty big end hog. I'd also slot the APP attack for damage instead of debuffs.
  9. Hey guys just like the question states what are the essentials I need to know? I've never made a PB before and I've only leveled a WS to 26 so I have hardly any experience with the Khelds. Since the lightform changes I've become interested in making one. I would like to make a human only PB but I'm not sure on what's good and what's not. It looks like PB's do mostly KB and don't have a hold like WS's so what are the tactics for cysts and other dangerous things?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

    Hai2u2.

Ahh I need to join LFG Beta but I'm only in VirtueTF2010 and I think VirtueTrials2011(not sure on exact name). I've got several new guys I want to make and several on both sides so we can run together sometime. I'll global you when I get home from work.

  15. I haven't played around alot with burnout but I LOVE it so far on the few I picked it up on.

Claws/Elec brute: I use energize, power surge then burnout(energize reduces the end cost) and have them back up to use again when they wear off if things get rough.

MA/Regen scrapper: When things get rough I can have DP, instant healing, mog then burnout then use shadow meld and anything else as needed.

  17. So since my billing cycle was on the first of October, does that mean I got my token and points during the head start? If not I haven't seen either so far....
  18. As it stands I'm kinda meh on /poison atm. I need to give it a good try though, like you said, and get one to 38.

As far as synergy with /time, elec/ is a pretty good pairing. The low levels are a little rough until you can get distortion field and time stop(one shot hold a boss? yes please) but after that it's all good from there. Using conductive aura in conjunction with static field and distortion field makes spawns easy pickings for the team. On a posi and synapse run people mentioned how easy it was because I was jumping ahead of spawns and setting up for them to mow them down. At low levels hasten and even burnout are good power picks.

At higher levels when you get gremlins, farsight, chrono shift and slowed response everything is just awesome. TBH leveling my elec/time has been so much more fun than my elec/cold.

  20. Hehe yeah that was me bragging.

Anywho I've honestly thought about writing a guide on elec/ but the main thing that has kept me from making one is my thoughts on the powers. Apparently my thoughts differ alot on what powers are good and which ones aren't from other forum regulars.

I like to liken elec/ to /ta in that they are both swiss army knife sets. Elec/ is weak in the AoE damage department but the gremlins help alot with that since they both have lightning field and have decent ST attacks. Static Field, IMO opinion, is the cornerstone power of the set. You can have it up often, is a patch that pulses -end and sleep pretty quickly and can be used offensively in conjunction with conductive aura for quick end draining. Synaptic overload is a fun confuse power that can spread pretty far pretty quickly but it has to hit the first target.

Chain fences has all of its damage hit at once so it doesn't interrupt static field. The only powers I personally would skip is Jolting Chain and possibly Paralyzing Blast. Jolting chain is good for low levels since it can keep knocking enemies down but I honestly don't find it worth the end after you get SO's.

Ah, the joys of rural life.
Now that I could see it doing since it only shoots at 350fps. If you could make it shoot things with higher fps then you could use it as home security. As something that could keep most wild animals away this would be awesome.
  22. I could see running a StJ/ with an high recharge /Elec or /Regen build or perhaps even with /Shield
