MA Arc series mostly. That is, my MA Arc series when I get to place my AVs and select chunks of diferent zones.

"Go check out the building with all the windows across from city hall."

But Granite doesn't do anything to help you tank the Hamidon...

If not then oh well. Not my concern and not my worry.
Oh, and as far as V-side challenges = awesome goes...
Our hami raid is much more difficult. -

"Go to Hospital"
If they deny my most likely smoldering half-corpse, then at least I'll be a zombie. A flying, ghostly zombie. -
Busting out of prison instead of beating up mutant hobos.

Bro, you win major bonus for more than 1 page of comments.
More points to come if it doesn't fall off the map within two days. -
Necro/Pain - Walking apocalypse of doom
Ninjas/Pain - Retarded "running" apocalypse of doom
Necro/Storm - Classic Banished Pantheon combo. Never fails.
Necro/Dark - AVs with AoEs will make you rage quit. Wonderful versatile combo
Ninjas/Thermal - Redonculous yet robust
Necro/Thermal - 2 words: Flaming Zombies
Thugs/Storm - Sho' 'nuff? Pretty decent for PvP and PvE
Mercs/Storm - Just crazy enough to work in most situations. Just set a timer while the Mercs attempt to kill things. -
You know you could just check the numbers on the powers in-game with detailed info...
Otherwise I've got no real numbers for you, bro. -
Quote:Demon summoning? Meh.
Now, a Nymph summoning Mastermind I would like.
(Really, I have no interest in the demon summoning MM. For those that do, have fun with it.)
Well...you could always look on the brightside. If you ever wanted to have a tea party that would both confuse and confound people, then pick up the demon set and curl that evil mustache of yours. -
Quote:If my Thugs/Pain could out-live the DPS of 3 Scrappers in PvP for an extended time then the regen will be fine. Regen will be unaffected by your BG status, and more or less there won't be a "numerical" difference, however, you will notice a significant subjective difference in your HP regen when in BG mode rather than without.I recently rolled up a mercs/pain. Kind of figured the ranged pets would go nicely the regen aura, and WoP would go well with thier decent s/l resists. After fiddling with the build a bit I found I pretty easily hit 670% personal regen, 400%+ for the pets, and an extra 976% 2/3 of the time for one lucky minion via Painbringer.
I know bodyguard is more about dmg sharing than a true +hp buff but.......
Exactly how will all that regen work if I stay in BG and use m30 as a pulling tool so they stay in mode? In a way they are my HP so a buff to their regen is a buff to my survivability correct?
Apologies if I overlooked a prior discussion but I cannot find this covered anywhere.
Thanks
joe
In short: Large Regen+Heals+BG mode= One hell of a tanker -

Rule num. 1: you and your pets are more expendable than a Blapper
Rule num. 2: Fight intelligently, using tricks and strategy rather than straight forward debuffing. Trust me, this is important as Mercs/Poison is super fragile
Rule num. 3: Bring patience. A LOT of patience -
SS/EA - Brute
FM/EA - Brute
And my lovable Elec/DA - Brute -
Ok, so, let me give you some extremely good secondaries Traps aside
/Pain
/Dark
/Storm
Those three (Storm being the lrgest headache) synergize well with Mercenaries. You can't go wrong with any of those choices.
(As per mentioned, Thermal goes great as well) -
I have quite a few well-armed Villains on Infinity that would love to help you out.Just message me in-game some time, brah.

Hey there, everyone. Just wanted to say my goodbyes even if this post does get shot down for being a goodbye letter.
My thoughts on the game before: CoX is a wonderfully crafted masterpiece! Everytime I go to another game I'm left dazed and confused as to why I can't take on hordes of enemies alone. The secenary can be bland at parts and rather gray, but there are some places that just have you sit and stare for a few moments.
The powersets are quite fun to mess around with, as the combinations and future possibilities can leave one pondering for hours. I also really enjoyed the Archvillains. PvP never disappointed me, even after the nerfs to it. The arena was always exciting for non-stop duels.
The Invention system, while confusing at first, was amazingly helpful in adding awesomeness to my characters! The markets were a great way to help pay and find said invention sets, tooStrike Forces and Task Forces ALWAYS kept me entertained! I just wish we had more events. You cannot forget the raids the game had in it--Hami was one heck of an experience, and the Rikti raid was just my slice of cake for smashing some invading face!
In my closing thoughts I want to thank the people I've played with for giving me enjoyable times that lasted non-stop!
User names: Nal-kun, Lan-kun, Magi Sro'kisk, Col. James Riley, Untimely Gentlemen, etc.
Thanks for all the laughs and funt imes. Sorry if I was a jackass to ya! I <3 you anyways
I hope CoX continues to thrive for many years to come, and to expand beyond your wildest dreams. I guess I never will get to see Martial Arts proted to Brutes
My final word: Squah? -
Quote:To clarify, I didn't mean to imply Spines' DPS was affected by redraw. I just consider redraw an annoyance.
I wouldn't personally pick an epic AoE on Spines, simply because I usually have plenty to do with Spine Burst and Throw Spines, considering I constantly maneuver in and out to maximize Throw Spines and the damage auras, but if I were to pick one I'd still go for Body Mastery. Energy Torrent does almost as much damage as Fireball, recharges faster, adds mitigation with knockdown, and as you're going to have to move to maximize Throw Spines already the fact that ET is a cone rather than a targeted AoE is irrelevant, at least to me... and you still get to enjoy CP/PP, and focus more on offense with slotting (be it through damage procs/recharge over end reduction, or more set bonuses).

Energy Torrent compliments Throw Spines exceptionally well. The knockdown from it is actually very, very refreshing when/if you need it. -
For me it'd have to be the waterfall in the Abyss. I can just imagine what it'd be like in Ultra Mode to stand on the rock fork in the water flow just above the falls and watch the sun peak up over the edge of the map.

Level 20 with some inspirations is when you can do it if you've got Challenge. It'd be painstakingly long and horrendous, though. Definitely not something I'd do without a lot of patience and time.
Level 24 or 26 are the suggested levels for starting to do this.
You'll just want Web Nade, the fences would be worthless for immobilizing an AV.
Difficulty? At level 20 or 26 prepare for some resistance. It depends on who you fight to be honest. Bat'zul, for instance, would be a much, much harder kill than Infernal. Still need a generaliztion? Try time-consuming. -
Quote:I had a brute whose attack chain from level 6 until 32 was punch->brawl->air superiority->brawl->punch, etc.,
OH THE INHUMANITY!!
Seriously, I couldn't last that long with an attack like that.
Also, Westly, it's not like Warshades are the only things to have an attack chain by level 4. C'mon, basically any AT with a combat flavored primary can have an attack chain by level 4. -
Quote:Which is why even more of us would like to see AE added to Pocket D.
i don't actually care all that much if they add level restrictions to RWZ again, though i would be fine with it, but i really would like to see AE in the D.
Then leave the one in the RWZ alone and have a seperate area added in the D. No reason it should be removed from a fairly safe part of the War Zone.
