It's a shame, really. Just like PvP, they won't touch it for a while. The Praetorian and Incarnate content has them by the ear.

Pain is a very buff heavy and pet-oriented set. With the Pet Uniques you will not die often, especially when you reach the end game.
Dark is a huge debuff machine. Enemy's ToHit? Gone. AV's damage? Pfft, doesn't exist. This set is very solid but a little lack luster on already debuff-heavy teams. The same goes for Pain.
It's all preference really.
Pain = Buffs
Dark = Debuffs
Pain can't solo as many AVs in the long run. Thugs/Dark for your AV (and GM) needs. -
Enough. Let heroes be heroes and let villains be villains for once. Sheesh.

Mastermind changes
1. pet AI (STAY MEANS STAY)
2. Mercenary Buffs
3. Mastermind bug fixes -
Quote:I would love to see more purchasable things in the NC-Store. There's another hero game that starts with a "c" that has loads of things in their store. But I love this game so much more. I know some people are against micro-transactions but I'm not one of them.
Purchasable pets, in-game-items, special campaigns, powers, etc... could all be placed in the NC store. I would probably buy loads of stuff and I'm sure other people would too. No cost other than development time and pure profit for CoH/V its a win-win.

We are not that other game. -
Making the upgrades auto is a better solution. Make them work the old way in PvP I suppose, except with all this Incarnate crap MMs are hurt big time in PvP.

Thank you for missing the point. No, really.
Allow me to explain: No, it would not be required to run Master Of. Shocking, right? It would be an option for people looking for a challenge or people that do not with to use Incarnate powers. It would work the same as putting a time limit or death limit on a TF through the challenge list.
Thirlling.
Oh, and the Incarnate option added on to TFs/SFs of older content (such as Stateman's Task Force/Recluse's Strike Force) is actually a wonderful idea, especially for people that enjoy the currently available high-end content.
There you go. Simplified and with better wording. -

I've long advocated the implementation of something that didn't make you go a petless Robotics Mastermind, except you made it better.

Quote:Well, you are still going to end up doing the tanking for your pets... no pet even with softcap def and whatever resistance is going to stand up to incarnate content for very long! Or even most boss fights.
Partly the reason why I do not have any form of taunt on my Merc/Traps. I don't feel the need to do boss fights or manage aggro in the Incarnate Trials. 90% of the time you've got someone controlling aggro in the Trials who is dedicated to it, and in AV fights the same goes.
The only real time you seriously tank for your pets is solo, and only then against certain challenges and difficulty settings. I just meant that with a more ranged and defensive build you end up using utility and stratgey rather than "hey, hit me in the face while I laugh at your damage" mentality that usually goes down. Actually, that's not just in ranged and defensive builds, that's in anything that makes good use of a secondary with powerful ultility effects.
My only point was that traps, and to a large extent every other secondary aside from Force Fields and Poison, will not require you to take aggro. You do, however, need to in AV, EB, and Large Mob/High Difficulty instances. It's situational most of the time, or just dependant upon your play style. That doesn't mean that tanking for your pets is a bad thing, though! -

Keep them the way they are! It's old content that way, and guess what, Ive seen team members faceplant on ITF, even with all having incarnate abilities.
...
EDIT: On a related note, just add an incarnate option to those TFs and the option to have Incarnate abilities turned off as part of the challenge list (you know, no insps, temps, deaths, time limit, etc) -
Only problem with my first Dopple fight was my /x8 setting. Needless to say I didn't stand much of a chance.

I think it's time to invade the EU servers...

Quote:i am for the most part against revamping old zones where no one goes... I honestly cant say the last time I was in faultline... when I was there... no one there... Co-Op gets more players involved, it populates a zone and gets the content ran by more players...
There is a continuing and growing threat to the world and co-op is required to battle this... and it makes sense...
bring on teh co-op new zones and screw the revamps of old lame zones that will have no traffic in it no matter what...
and someone give Memphis a Xanax...
...
The logic in that post is...
No, not even a faceplam picture response or long-winded statement could possibly attest to just how...
Wow. -

Anything ranged with /Traps fits the original MM description. Other than that, I see your point.

I dunno, I might suggest Invulnerability over Willpower for all this endgame stuff available now.
However! As many have stated, Super Strength is a wonderful pair with WP. I might suggest dark melee, Kinetic melee (you seem to enjoy), dark melee (wow, did I suggest that twice?), Stone Melee and Energy melee. -
I welcome you, my European brethren.
My body is ready. -
