Please keep in mind that Mr. Fish's day job is still on the as yet unannounced MMO project at NCsoft North American Headquarters in Austin, TX. However, we are very happy to have him more closely collaborating with the City of Heroes team!

If you can answer those questions you will find the root of your complaint as well as the solution that is presented in this acquisition.

Well, thats Cryptic enough. Heh heh. -
I left in late I4, ED and the way it was implemented was the driving factor. I have since returned and am enjoying myself enough to have opened another account even.
Despite some issues (pun intended) and various gripes, I think there has been a lot of improvement and see a bright future for COX, ASSUMING NCSoft lets Cryptic do what they do best, without undo inteference.
Until I read about a NCS bigwig making such a statement I am gonna remain a bit skeptical. If for no other reason than: it's a different entity, they will have different priorities and ideas, and more beancounters and deadlines. -
Hurricanes I know, even Tornados.
The very earth under my feet trying to kick my a*s??
I would <LEROY!!1> myself. -
I'm glad to hear it, now if Freedom does the same then I'll be impressed.

Random advice: Be carefull ToT'ing from Truck back doors.
A teamie got stuck inside a truck, and I tried to replicate it and did. /Stuck only worked intermittently.
Just a thought.
Btw, the inside of the truck has detail.
The bad part was every time a Trick spawned, they appeared with their bums right in your face. -

I would have included support for having separate PVE/PVP builds on the same toon as a wishlist item, but my guess is that's way too much work to ever get done.

This is my second biggest gripe about COX pvp.^^
My first would be:
The apparent idiocy and lack of any sort of breadth of vision from many PvP'ers concerning making PvP a n00b welcoming environment. If people run off the n00bs and casuals then theyre shortsighted maroons, to be blunt.
Do you want COX pvp to be more active with rookies and casuals? IE: More action, more population, more Dev attention, more fixes/buffs/zones? Then don't be a tard, it's that simple.
As for Arena...pfft.
Arena showcases the huge disparity between AT's and Powersets and effectiveness between them (imbalance).
It often completely turns off casuals who wish to pvp with their non-optimized non-fotm AT/Powersets/Builds.
Don't mean to come off, but those two items right there are our ( me, my friends, some casuals I talked to) big complaints. -
I can easily see how some people would get seriously bent if it occured to their home server.
Give Character transfers if a server gets hit with this "unnoficial status"? Sure, but that's not what would trip my trigger.
The BASE that I spent over a year pouring my time into would be a much bigger issue to me.
I can easily reroll a character, my SG Base and accumulated Prestige? Not so easy. -
Will this effect any later "Searching" after that date for prior posts from the COV Gen?
Regardless, get ready for 5000 new flamewars. *shrugs* -
You mentioned Leotardo ... and the stupidest mutant concept EVER.
To me anyway. -
Sometimes, when I am bored and when I am on a NON-SQUISH character for the most part.
TP Foe blows, soloing blows, uber Mez blows, hence the non squishy toons. -
The reason a lot of people choose other Archtypes over Stalkers in teams is not due to their powersets and tactics so much, as to the non-team oriented behavior many of them engage in, imo.

Awesome guide, thanks.
Is there a guide somewhere about specifics of certain personal items? What can be gotten? What are the requirements?
I'm pretty much the only regular one in my SG, and I have 5 porters, and it's all I need.
Atm: Skyway, Indy Port, Steel Canyon, Talos, Brickstown.
Will probly drop IP for Peregrinne.
Heck I know of one coalition where most everyone has 1 or 2 porters each TOPS, but have coordinated the Beacons to cover almost everything. I recomend going Coalition with a reliable SG or two as soon as you can, it will free up space and choices, not to mention cost.
But for the do-it-yourselfer the op's guide reigns supreme. -
I was hoping to find a Blaster specific Issue 9/IO/Globals/Procs /etc vkind of guide, but I dont see one.
Has anyone here got one not posted or lost?
I'm trying to figure out what I will need to do to maximize my defenses/resists/kb/regen or a combo or what on my upcoming Elec/Elec.
Thanks. -

Even if it was just bland power poolish type powers. -
Name: Rift
Leaders/Recruiting Officers:
Founder- 308
Prefered method of contact: In-game e-mail to 308, pst if you wish, as well.
Group Description:
Rift is an SG designed to support all Heroes in need of decent base facilities (Tech themed).
These include:
an Invention Lab,
Salvage Storage,
Inspiration Collector,
Personal Vault access,
Linear Accelerator (second order empowerments/buffs),
3 'Porters tied to 5 Zones and Coalition 'Porters to the rest.
Loners, casuals, solo'ers, weird hours, Server movers, team oriented, PvP oriented, PvE oriented, etc etc, all are welcome if fairly active.
Rules?
Just two really...don't be a tool, and treat your SG-mates with respect.
Having said that, if you stay in SuperGroup mode untill level 25, it would be greatly appreciated.
It costs you nothing, and helps the SG out a lot.
Once you hit 25, however, I would advise moving out of SG mode as it begins to make your wallet suffer from that point on. -
x2 xp weekend for me = Play my new PB, and/or maybe roll up a WS and grab a few (dozen) levels.

Can't wait! Props to the Devs!
A rookie Q though:
Reichsman, what sort of powersets could this guy be said to have roughly.
I have the same Q about Hero 1 as well.
Also, where can i learn more about the 5th Coliums history? -
Heck it's I9 now, but yes, a new uptodate MA/RGN guide would be wonderfull.
-
Fly is more usefull than anything else, imho,;if you like to explore, need to find a specific region quickly and/or if u solo blast(6 slotted snipe and autofire+fly=joy:ie: it's more versatile.
But,as usual,EVERYTHING is relative and it depends on pref's/play style,*shrugs*. -
I have a 35 lvl Ar/Gadget guy,and he uses beanbag ALL the time, particularly when soloing.I slotted it for 4 disorient 'hances and use it on anyone I want to slow down(for ignite and flamethrower),or is particularly annoying, or threats who gets too close.
As for Shotgun...it was usefull during my lower levels, but at 24 I repec'd out of it,found myself using it less and less(though I admit it was only 4 slotted for damage).
I am still debating Grenade Launcher, got it 5 slotted for damage and its still..."not all that";will probly respec out of it as well, when I get Hasten and fully slotted.
