Meh, as long as I get to green rep PK once in a while, I'm content.

Trust me, you're not missing anything. The old ones were fun to do even if at some times you couldn't move for lag and the server actually crashed from having to deal with lots of people. I did those until I was blue in the face.
The new ones however... who the heck wants to spend hours collecting EOE to then go into a zone that's limited to 50 people who don't know how to follow tactics or care about them to actually make it work? And spend at least 3 hours (I think? Can't remember how much it took when I was in the 1st on Defiant, but we were all pretty bored by the end) for a reward that's at best meh?
As for the merger, as always, I'm not opposed to the list merge (which is not the same as being for it too) but I'm definitely against server merge. -
As with everything "difficult" in this game, bring Debuffers. Nothing like a good debuff to melt that snow.
Cute event though unless something else gets added, might as well let it run as is. One team and 1-2 more players was all that was needed on both sides (Red and Blue that is). -
OP isn't talking about badges. He's talking about Hunt Missions. I once got 3 of them in a row (you know, go hunt 45 Carnies in PI, and when you're done, hunt 45 more; oh, and when done with that, hunt another 45). I logged to another toon and guess what mission I got: hunt 45 Carnies. It's not pretty.
As for your concerns, only the Outcasts are hard to get Villain side, because you only get a spawn of two and in only one mission. As for the other, they aren't that hard to get any more, especially with the new mission settings. -
All of them provided I get this dagnabbit of a GFX card and my PC to properly work with each other.
-
Oh, hell to the no!
I haven't poured my life and energy into a toon only to have him deleted and taken from me even if it meant having said toon join the canon forever. -

Mad props for you Michelle! I really loved the music.

I'm not. Just went in game to collect the Loyalty badges. DA:O is pretty much sucking the very life out of me and I'm enjoying that feeling (Oooooo matron!).
I still read the forums though and make a nuisance of myself over the fact that announcements are now made with only the US players time zone in mind. And apparently, from the answers in that thread, I shouldn't expect anything else and be grateful the Mods deigned to make an announcement.
How flabbergasting and refreshing, I say!
Toodle pip chaps. -
Quote:You're not alone in your aloneness little dude. You two are together? Never knew that
I feel so single in this threadCan barely afford my own lifestyle, if i had a long term relationship like the majority of you seem to have . . . . . . . well my bank balance would have a heart attack!!!
On the other hand, what the heck are you doing here? -
Quote:Oh, you misunderstand me: I'm not annoyed at the PST, I can convert time zones easily and even if I couldn't there are myriad sites that do the job. I'm annoyed at being ignored because I live in Europe and apparently don't deserve the same treatment that US players get.Well, doing a quick check to make sure, it's +8hrs for GMT time from Pacific time.
And I laugh at your annoyances about Pacific time. But then, most of the people I need to get a hold of at one of my jobs, that are reps for other companies, keep Eastern TZ hours, so I have to worry about making sure to call them by my lunch time.
How would you guys like it if the announcements only mentioned the EU time, simply ignoring the rest of the world players base?
It's common courtesy towards your customers I think. Since we're talking about loyalty and all... -

You've stuck with us through thick and thin and tomorrow you are going to receive your reward!
During our maintenance window Thursday, November 19th (4:00 – 6:00 AM Pacific), we will be granting the Loyalty badge (Vigilant for Heroes and Determined for Villains) to players who maintained an active account from August 15, 2009 through November 16, 2009.
If for some reason you do not receive the badge but feel you are entitled to it, please file a petition via Ask a Question.
Everyone appreciates Loyalty and this is our way of saying thanks for all your support!
I'm glad for this but at the same time:
How hard is it to also announce the time frame for this regarding EU? Unless you're planning on awarding these badges US side only?
Yes, yes... I'm annoying, I know. -

Hey guys!
Any one know if these have been awarded yet? I seem to recall they were going to be given out after the 15th. Am I wrong? -

As someone with 7 Rabbits and 7 Hares, I'm all for this idea. More and better animal costume parts, tails, heads and textures.

Quote:I was at the level cap by the time I fought Flemmeth, wasn't the longest fight I'd had either. Am trying to get the assassin to stop flirting with me, all I did was give him a pair of gloves. Made a mental note to never give gloves to guys as a present. Love the golem's comments when I'm just walking around but never bother to actually talk to him. Am just generally enjoying the content (though my inability to navigate maps and the circle's quests caused much swearing but other than that). Playing a City Elf Rogue, or total scum as it could be otherwise called I guess. I think the fact I am at the level cap and nowhere near the end means I might have been playing most of the content I could find
How in all heck's name did you reach level cap so soon?!? Am I missing something?
Oh and Shale is a female, not a male.
The gloves you gave Zevran are one of his plot items and one that boosts his likeability towards you very much. Also, since he is bisexual, if you buy him stuff, he'll sex you up. Although I'm guessing he'd still sex you up regardless of gifts. He's a very bearer of horns type person. If you get my meaning. *wink wink, nudge nudge* -

Quote:Yes, yes, but you have a lot of origins and you can develop those classes in a lot of different ways. Although I'm amazed at how people seem to go through this game in a speedy fashion. I've got an Elf Mage and have only just begun to scratch at the surface! So far I did:Well I logged in on Monday and saw only one other person of my Theme Team on, waited a while then logged out and played Dragon Age. Think I have an STF to do on Sunday, then Monday evening again........ then Monday evening again. However Dragon Age is going along really well and its a bit annoying there's only 3 main classes
- Origin arc
- Ostagar
- Lothering
- Wardens' Keep
- The Arl of Radcliff
- The Broken Circle
- The Stone Prisoner
And a lot of talking with my fellow companions which has led me to several sidequests as well as a lot of (well, all of them actually) normal sidequests.
Didn't fight with Flemmeth as I tried once and got squashed. Got past her by talking. Man, does this game have dialogue! And content! Lots and lots and oodles of content!
Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! -
Quote:*giggles like a pre-teen*i'll be logging on to our cousins the french server and having some good old friendly fun with them all
Quote:Plus, it might be interesting to see just how good us players can actually use teamwork when we dont understand eachother [see just how good you really are!].
Good luck with it though, or as the French would say it: bonne chance! -

Quote:Geee, I don't know... what kind of brain would you like to go with your empty cranium?LMAO! Someone will run a little faster than my toon and do a flip when they jump! Oh noes!
What kind of cheese would you like to go with your whine?
Just to make things clear, I had bought the pack before coming on the forums.
There was no whining in my post, I was restating the facts given by the announcement. Whether or not you chose to interpret that as a whine, well, you can't blame faulty synaptic pathways on other people.
Regardless of it being construed as an advantage over other players or not, it yet again reinforces the paradigm that money will get you better things in the game. Which as far as financial strategies go it is a very good one.
