  2. Well only in some circumstances, so I'd like to get 40 ranged and melee defense without it on. however if if it can't be pulled of, then I will use hover to reach my goal, like what I have in my post(maybe not the exact build but something similar, the build above is just an outline).
  3. Hey all! My goal for this character is to achieve at least 40 defense for Ranged and Melee. I'd like to keep all of the Primary and Secondary powers I have selected, except I don't care if I have Blinding Feint or not. I'd also like to keep Hover, but I would not like to have to use it to reach 40 ranged/melee defense.

  4. So what do you recommend slotting for after you're already soft capped to all positions?

    The psy hole with resists or defense?
    More resists over all?
    Max health?
    Regen?

    Trying to in for a little more survivability here.
  5. What is an example of a non Positional attack? Also, if you're soft capped to melee and lethal defense, does Divine Avalanche help out beyond that?
  6. Thanks again. Getting ready to read a couple ivuln threads. It just seems like there are so many different sets and bonuses in my face that I dont see some obviously better routes. I'll surely get better at this eventually!

  8. I've never done this before so I really need criticism. One of my main goals was to have Perma Dull Pain. Perma hasten was a goal to a lesser exten, but as long as my attack powers have a decently low recharge time (i.e. Lightning Rod) I'd be fine with getting rid of hasten.

    Let me know what I should and shouldnt do.

    I was messing around in Mid's and was trying to get the recharge bonus out of Impervious Skin on some of my resistance powers(Invuln) and it doesnt seem to work. Any Ideas as to why?

I just started playing again recently and one of my main characters I played in the first few Issues was a spines/regen and I quit a little while after Instant Healing and some other powers were changed ( not because of the changes ). Now theres all these IO sets and new Incarnate stuff and I was wondering if those things have increased Regen's Survival.

    I know survival can depend on your primary, but I want to know in a general "run into a group of mobs" has the survivability improved?
  16. So I saw in a recent article that when freedom launches, we will be able to pick up a travel power at 4. Are travel powers being removed from power pools completely? Are other power pools being changed in any other way?

  20. I just reactivated yesterday and was wondering if you can do task forces and trials solo now? I always hated not being able to do them since I don't have time to sit down and play for 6 hours. I know your team can log out and finish it later, but no group of people have the same schedule and spare time.

  22. Just saw your question, I am using the NCSoft installer(I saw that the other one is going to be removed soon).
  23. Today a few minutes ago is when I first tried. I thought that the maintenance was over since I can now log into my NCsoft account. Hopefully this is just due to the maintenance, but does everyone else recieve this error?
  24. I have a pretty high end computer: Radeon HD 6870 graphics card, AMD x4 3.6ghz processor, 6G of DDR3 RAM, 64-bit windows 7, ect... So I know its not my computer.

    However I have a Verizon Unlimited data package and I am using my Droid Incredible as an internet tether. I ran speed test and have 104ping, 1.23mbps down and .76mbps up.

    I just reactivated my account after many years, downloaded and patched everything, but when I get to the login screen and put in my account info it delays for awhile and then gives me an error message that says "unable to connect, could be due to local network or firewall block...ect"

    I have turn off all firewalls and protection, but it still does the same thing. Is there a work around?
