    Damn you Joephisto!!!

The man needs to be taken out and.... given some meds that would cure his obvious condition. He is making a mockery of Marvel comics.

And, yes this is the wrong section. Mods, please move this when you get the chance.

I am not to worried for myself. All the keeper toons have it already, I am just prepping to let people know when I have a toon up for the mission. My main worry is that since they have completed the mission before, the group may not be able to get the rewards.

Exactly. As humans, we should have learned by now, and some of us have. THere are those that are very short sighted, and barely see past their life, much less their children's and grand children's lives.
  4. Several of my toons have the DJ Zero Valentine missions. How do they work if I want to let people still farm them or use them to try for the Valentine costume pieces?

(For the record, I do know I need to team with others for them to get the mission lol) *wink*

I personally would like to see a bit more portage with Illusion to MMs. I know that will be awhile of course.

On the flip side, how could you take Zombies or Demons and give them to Controllers/DOminators?
  6. Great work Steelclaw. That was hilarious.
  7. Infinty is my first server. There is no theme there other than hero. I do admit to have an unofficial spider theme. For an arachnophobe, I have a fascination with arachnids. Spider-man is my favorite hero, or was.

Victory is my second server. We have all villains, in the form of the Cockroach World Domination.

Guardian is all heroes, but more of a wild theme, such as anthropormorphs or heroic magical creatures. The idea is that "Those that belong to another time."

Triumph is all villains, and started out as Dragons, but we are in the process of modifying the theme. Now we have fallen angels, mutated Snakes, and dragons.

Pinnacle is my EAT server. We were in the process of dismantling it, when we learned that there will be a Praetorian Epic.
  8. Avoiding exact real world references, Hamidon is not unusual in wanting to recreate the world in his chosen image. Look at Cole, and Recluse. The Praetorian Hamidon just almost succeeded.

Now would I join his ranks to be a lesser devoured? Sure, why not. I find the beautiful, lush greenery worth losing some of our technology, or learning to take control of the population. Have you ever seen the anime Blue Gender? It was quite interesting.

Now, as a side note, I find it amusing that alot of people point to technology and how to saved the world and made life easier for the hunter/gatherers. The Hunter-Gatherers worked about 2 hours a day. We work more than we did 50 years ago, and quite often to make less, relatively speaking. I know our devs put in some amazing hours, yet they are not phat cat millionaires living large.

Thank you. That was one of my better writing's I will be the first to admit.
  10. I wrote this one up for Badstorm. She was looking for a character named Daydream and wanted a bio. This was what I came up with for her.

I am Daydream. For years I wondered the imaginations of Her. I worked wonders in worlds of wonder. Like all daydreams I might have faded with time but for that awful day.
The alert had sounded. Nemesis was fighting a hero in the streets of Paragon. They were to get to shelter. She did not. She wanted to be a heroine. She watched near a window as the fight raged by, imagining me fighting out there.
The hero was struck true and flew into the class room. The other students screamed. Nemesis pointed his staff and fired. All the children were protected by a force field, all but Her. She was to close to the edge and was struck. As she fell, I Awoke. Stepping over her, blades crossed, I was not about to let Nemesis by. He struck me down easily.
I awoke in the hospital. When asked who I was, I said Daydream.
She is in a coma. Now I fight to waken her. Now I fight to bring Nemesis to justice. I am Daydream, and I am your nightmare.
  11. Here are two of my more enjoyable ones.

Sister Lilith. Started out as a tanker fire/axe tanker but I rerolled her to Demons/Thermal MM for GR.

Sister Lilith is oft spoke of in Biblical lore. She is portrayed by some as Adam's first wife, and by some as Satan's Daughter. She has been called the first vampire. In truth, she is the daughter of Lucifer. When Lucifer was asked to guard prison, he asked to invite some angels. He knew that they would need to be changed to survive Hell. Of the Arch-Angels, he was the only one strong enough to survive unchanged. To prove his faith in those asked, he asked Lilith. She agreed. Hell is prison and punishment. Sadly those that must guard must be strong. Lucifer altered all their forms for survival. The weaker they were, the greater the change. Recently, Lilith saw the need to stem the tide entering Hell. With her father's permission, she came to Earth to strike fear in the hearts of evil. Perhaps when enough turn to Jehovah, they could speed the time when they will return back to their brethren with Heavenly song. Until then, evil must know what awaits them.

    Tier 1
    Kasdeya
    Ronwe
    Ukobach

    Tier 2

    Mastema
    Ornias

    Tier 3
    Jezebeth

Gaea's Hammer. SHe started out as a Earth/Mace tanker and I rerolled her to a Mace/Earth brute for GR.

Unbeknownst to her, Black Arachnia picked up a passenger on her way through the Devouring Earth world. The Portal Corp failed to catch the stow away and Roseheart fell off in Black Arachnia's base. To her surprise, she found plant life to nurture her in the bases sterile environment. Her goal was to learn more about this world that constantly failed to fall under Hamidon's rule. What she learned surprised her. Hamidon was not what she thought here. Hamidon was a monster bent on the destruction of man. In truth, there were many humans who wanted to clean their world. While the base was empty, she watched and learned about the new world she lived in, all the while listening to the gentle sussurus of her mother and the harsh strident whisper of this worlds Hamidon. When she grew in enough knowledge and strength to move about, she accessed the computers and learned more about this worlds religions. The words Gaea struck a musical chord that was answered by her mother. She vowed to teach this world and help.
  12. I don't think he has any particular weakness to sonics actually.
  13. Prior to launch, I had my eye on the game. This was before I started lurking in forums, or posting. I knew Marvel was working on one at the time as well, but, we know where that went. I was playing EQ1 and FFXI at the time, and I started Co* at launch. I was in love right off the bat.

Despite some disappointments, (changes in the game during beta I had not been aware of until the game launched) it gave me an almost perfect feel of being a hero. There was no PvP, no grinding for loot, and it was fast paced.

My wife started playing as I started playing more Co* and less of our other games. She has really enjoyed herself, despite the initial idea. It allows for her playful creative side.

Agreed. Had the other movies been out, they would have tried to emulate them as well. It makes sense though, trying to tie into the building hype. I was going to complain about Banner's look, when it occured to me they are basing it off Norton's Banner. I may not like it as much, but I understood why they did it.

I hope Captain America blows the theatre apart. If it does not do well, I do not forsee the Avengers movie coming to fruition.

No, it is not surprising. It might pick up steam again this weekend. When a mod steps in and says something, some of us listen.
  16. Thanks Talia, the show looks like it has promise.

Interesting new avatar by the way. It's nice.

    New Aura Preview

    Sweet. They do look good.
  19. I discovered this anime on Netflix instant view.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Queen%27s_Blade

I gave the wiki instead of the IMBD link, clearly.

The basic premise is that every 4 years, the Gods have decreed The Queen's Blade Tournament, where hopefuls battle to win the prize of Queen of the Land. The anime follows various characters, though the one focused on when I watched it was Leine Vance, a young woman that is heir to the COunt Vance, and who want's nothing to do with the title.

Where as I would love to give descriptions of the anime, I would get hit with the ban stick if I did. To be frank, there is alot of 'fan service ' in this one. Questionable positions and loads of female nudity.

Netflix only has the first 4 episodes, but it is intriquing enough that my wife and I are looking to watch the rest of the series.

He wants to protect people, even if it means protecting them from themselves. He's happy to give them a pretty place to live, but it's a gilded cage. He doesn't WANT to inflict pain, he just feels he has to, much in the same way a parent spanks a child or a new pet owner bops a snarling puppy's nose.

Unfortunately his spankings tend to break your hips and, potentially spine.

His distance does not allow his to see the excesses of his lieutenants either. I doubt he would have approved of them so long ago, but now I doubt he really notices.

In between frequent kidnappings of Statesman lol

  22. It still strikes me as curious on how COle has been changed over the different dimensions. Praetoria seems to be the Mirror Universe of Co*, and those that are good are often bad, and those that are bad, are often dead. So I wonder, is Cole really concerned about his machinations, or is his godhood distancing him from all that he cared about? Could we ask the same question about Statesman as well?

  24. The song was outrageous. I did not care for it though, and still the voices and animation style grate on me.

Sorry Marcian, I just can't get the appeal.

As always, loved the Am I Blue number.
