ive been told by some that theres a salvage limit, and told by more reliable people there isnt, so

not really mate, just sg mode and get explore badges, also having a lackey/malefactor counts towards an sg badge

times are cool, we may do a split day TF tho as not every1 does 7 hour sessions

dont neglect the AS, but overall DPS is cool, once u have SOs slotted then your defences wont need mor than 3 def/res slots anyways if you are thinking ED builds

i would say mike tends to do a bit of headbanging rather than moshing, but call it what you will, the new vids to appear soon are well funny if the have joe and mike bopping on them btw mike is 26 too, so u aint that old compared to all our band, and u arent oldest in the sg either

i dont think we should rush the salvage thing, we will eventually have more than 1 power source and control set up, and it may well be a tech alternative, not sure if it makes a diff but we dont want just 1 item or we are so dead in raids, i am a horder as elec-fro/meddler said, "eggs in one basket"

everyone calls me Plight, and my none Plight named toons have "Plight: " in their arena chat binds so ppl know etc, the odd person hits me with a Jim, but i prefer Plight tbh, oh and i hate being called PT or Trawler, gets on me tree!

the base is well on its way, and the badges are going well, good work to all!

my biggest request is that the 10 odd of us that read these threads let the other members know that A) it is important to keep up to date with what we discuss here and B) that it is one ongoing thread, not a whole forum they have to keep up to date with, which for a casual, mainly ingame group, doesnt work (been there).

UPCOMING! in a week or so i hope to be trying the first SG trial, we need at least 4 people at level 20 for it, so i guess we can field an 8 man team, not sure if more people than 8 can do it, but for me, as always, i am free from 1 pm everyday until about 5 am, not fridays 6-11 pm and not sundays 4-8:30 pm, there is but one way to get me online weekend day times, and that is to get my mobile number and phone me! i will get up for TFs, but as im up most nights late anwyways i tend to sleep all weekend to make up for my 15 hours in 5 days i usually pull. oh and dount expect me to be about when the Vick monster summons : /, you never know, i may stop banging my head against this wall one day.

you;re all doing great, and i'm loving al the new people, everyone seems to be getting on fine, and as usual, if you need anything, just ask.

our SG is also heavy on CoV atm, but when the balance redresses, there will be an even stronger SG than there was before for it, im sure you understand.

at forst it was a PLer to ignore, then it was an annoying kid to have on a team in PI and reandomly tp into malta bosses, then (over a month ago) i gave him a chance, we chatted a fair few times (at least 3 i think), ive even teamed with him, and possibly done a TF, but we arent sure if who we think is him, is if u follow. so yeah, i made the choice to be the 1st example of our SGs 1st rule, DO NOT GRIEF, anyone, ever. like greek says its easy to be human, afte rhaving tried ive pretty much got no where, and i have explained how to give a better impression of onesself to the community types.

If you're reading this lui, you get almost infinite chances with me, i dont hold grudges long, but i hope for everyones sake evryhting goes well, just remember no one is attacking you personally, cos they cant, they dont know you, and if you can be the bigger person and not abuse some1 twice your age on a public channel, then that says a lot.

Drew, well, erm 3 accounts eh, well i got my US 1, and my EU 1, and about 3 beta ones :/ but yeah, get the cheerleader to 50, lets say 3 hours a day, 300 hours will take you 100 days ( OMG )

o and seriously, Dreamer, and the whole VG/SG, Devil Sold His Soul who i happen to know IRL, has been trying for the teleporter badges and got a few apparently he told me tonight, not entirely sure how they work, but i think we can use the base as a train system to anywhere once we have the badges, and apparently they need to be collected in SG mode.

once again, a quick reminder, prestige costs part of your inf/xp earnings, so you only need to wear it when fighting mobs which drop the relevent salvage for the group, the VG needs arcane items, and the SG needs tech items. we are working towards a few million prestige to get a base which will allow teleporters and an SG computer to get us tping about and doing SG trials, then not long after, base raids i hope.

on a lighter note, was pwning the bosses in warburg with ntrailz and lokanna elianna last night and MAYJIN turns up right on top of us, hes a lvl 50 elec/nrg/fire blaster from DARK ZONE, NT says 'enemy' or some such and im like '[censored] RED CON!' wack the target on him (then lost and got it back cos im stupid at 6 am) and KABLAM tesla cage ftw, then i send him an invite cos he said 'can i help', i told him it wasnt the best idea to sneak up on me, as it tends to lead to aim, build up and a barrage of 5dmg slotted melee attacks i have lying about from i5, fortunately i didnt squish him and we had a laugh.

The Arenas are in Galaxy City, Talos Island and Peregrine Island, the fight i presume will take place at the GC arena, mainly because to observe these fights you have to be in the arena the match started in, even though all arenas are linked forthe purposes of joining them (and surposedly observing too).

To observe, once the match has started, view events listed as 'all' (default is 'eligable'), click on it then click 'observe'. then you will be a camera w00t n all that. Once inside the the fight you cant talk unless you are on one of the fighting teams, which i doubt the cheer leader will be, but u can spam cheer before and after all you like make sure u enable villain chat too!

EDIT, GM hunt in PI killing huge level 50 monsters is now scheduled for after the pvp fight which is on for 7 pm

and yes Sin, u can talk to the other side, you need to go to options>general and scroll down to allow villain/hero private messages etc.

Hey loki, thanks for coming along, nice avatar etc . the SG isnt disbanding , people are just having their fuss out with CoV andthe VG, both are staying for good im sure. when would be a good time for u to do a weekly sg trial? cause i know ud b good on it this is all part of keeping both groups active andgetting them both functional bases and all the bells and whistles that i6 has brought.

good work team! wow i really am impressed at some of the ideas/knowledge/enthusiasm here, we need to pass this on to the newer players, and get them reading this.

hte next big thing is who do we get salvage from as an SG (i.e. which TFs/arcs/hunts do we do) and when are we going to do them. I propose a weekly (at least) TF/SF night, friday and sunday are kinda out for me (sunday from 8 30 is ok) so maybe one every week rotating say monday > tues > weds > thurs PLUS every other saturday? hmm

FYI, master zap was told this but didnt post as i presume he forget. In my wisdom (i just picked randomly), the VG is arcane and the SG is to be tech. so now you know.

Sin, to set and unset sgmode you can use the /command /sgmode in a macro such as ... /macro "sg" "sgmode" ... or you can specify whether its on or not with /sgmodeset # where # or 1 (on) or 0 (off).

just for those that dont know, by getting a base computer and such up to allow sg trials, we get exclusive sg content/missions unlocked and these allow us to get items of power (IoPs) which give you dmg, def, res, +xp etc buffs when in sg mode.

i would love to see poeple recruiting more members to help us do this, if you meet good players, aim them to these threads, tell them what u think of the sg and our goals (if u like em that is )and hopefully we will be much stronger again.
