I ran through all the DA arcs solo at x8 on BZB v2 over the last two nights. Unlocked all my characters. Ran some lowbies around. Looks like I'm going to get as much playtime in as possible before the end as one last dive into the abyss.
Went through a similar situation when I knew the end was nigh for my mastiff, Bella. What could I do but love on her as much as possible before having to let her go? I certainly wasn't going to ignore her. -

At that moment, every single Hero and AV possible transport in, surrounding the cigar smokin' demon. Bill looks about... sighs mightily in exasperation... or is it contentment?... and gets to work.

Edit: I reran all the DA arcs over the last two nights. That final Dream Doctor mission, kill 200 BP, then 7 Ravagers plus their spawns just to get in the door... now THAT is a mission to run at x8. -

I like it. Folks like us would join the communities that don't care if you team or not while others would join the communities with lots of forced teaming. -

I'm still waiting for the night that I log in to see every NPC in the zone suddenly stop walking, slowly turn to face me, eyes glowing, screaming, "DIEDIEDIEDIE" as they con purple and attack.

I don't think I have any "crowning moments of awesome." I wasn't the first to solo a pylon or complete the original rikti crash site challenge or the newer war zone challenge. I don't even think I was the first claws scrapper to solo an AV. Certainly wasn't the first scrapper to survive a team wipe and save the day.
I just looked good doing those things. -
