It is ONLY in rains, patches, and auras that the target limit occurs (as far as my testing has confirmed, I have used Crack Whip and Fireball to test regular AoEs and my Demon Pets AoE attacks seem to proc on multiple targets as well, but I only checked the Demon Pets once, quickly). While I think rains, patches, and auras should still allow AoE proccing as well, in general gameplay, it is not a huge issue (but is a small annoying one ).
I know you can't answer this, but seriously, why allow the proc to work in these AOE powers as normal but not the rains and patches? It makes no bloody sense to me at all. If the 10 second rule is in effect, then I don't see a problem with allowing multiple targets being effected.

A single target proc from a rain or patch power is pointless and may as well be excluded from the power at this point if this is in fact they way the devs want it to work. I personally will remove the ability from the characters that have it and won't even bother slotting any of the Interface abilities on characters with said powers.

    HOWEVER

There is another change to how Interface works in rains and auras. It only procs on one target. That is right, these AoE powers can now only proc the interface on one target at a time.

Please let that last part be a bug, because that seems WRONG.
You know, I realize that the Interface needed tweaking, but this is just totally gutting the Interface slot. Only allowing it to effect 1 target is totally pointless. Ever proc in this game effects all mobs on a 10 second rule, why not allow this to do the same. I mean hell, the devs already have the debuff set to a very low number and only allows a stack of 4 at any given time, now its lowered to only 1 target. What a way to waste our time with the Interface slot.

I really hope this isn't the case, otherwise, I won't even slot my interface as it will be worthless.

I'm a big macro user to for the most part, but I don't usually exercise a lot of control on my undead... since well, they are melee. If they are hitting things thats kind of the best they can do... you can't actually order them to just use their ranged attacks after all.

Its nice to see someone other than /Traps get anywhere though
Maybe because when I use my macros, I tell all my pets except for the bruiser to go at ranged and attack. See I do this and line up my henchmen so that they hit both AVs as well as the spawning reinforcements. I do this a lot, that way I get the most out of them. I'm not sure if this plays a role in my rewards or not, but it sure helped me gain a lot of iXP pretty fast
  4. I'm not sure what's going on with everyone who plays MMs, but I've never had any problems with playing my Thugs / Dark. Not that I'm complaining but all I get is Rare and Very Rare, and maybe a uncommon or two. I've never gotten a common on my MM at all. I always had to downgrade them from Rares and the Uncommons.

I personally don't have any attacks at all, other than my debuffs such as Tar Patch, Darkest Night...etc..etc. My pets do the rest for me. I've had my pets wiped a few times, I won't deny that, but for the most part, I don't have a big issue with my pets dying in the Trials. Maybe because I use multiple macros for my pets on telling there what to do and where to go. But for the most part, I may have to re-summon them once per trial if that.

I do have taunt and I do tank the AVs as well, so maybe that plays a part in my participation, but I'm getting pretty good rewards on my MM.

I cast Seers once I get outside the door post-sabotage phase, and I don't get them recharged in time for the finishing fight during his Unstoppable. So I've been holding onto them for the first Unstoppable phase section, like most others.

I'll try JUST as I exit the warehouse/lab and see if it makes a difference. It's only about 15 seconds, though, but it's worth a shot.

What kinda +recharge buffs do you have rolling, BC?
Recharge buffs don't play a part of the Lore recharge anyway, so that's not it at all. But to answer your question, I only have 62.5 global recharge and no hasten.

I too used to cast them out at unstop and that was it, but after hearing from others in game from other servers, I tried what they suggested about the Lore pets being used twice, the first time I tried it, I was able to cast them out twice, one time though was not able to, but every other attempt after that seemed to work fine for me.

Normally when my team finishes the sabotage phase, we normally finish first so maybe that extra minute or two is helping me, I'm not sure. Either way, if you are having issues with getting them out twice just save them for the Unstop phase. The more Seers the better you will do

Not sure why every is having problems getting the Pets out twice while taking on the AV. I normally cast mine out as soon as I get out of the sabotage phase and they are up when the timer hits about 3-5 minutes. Which is about the time Unstop is popped and I was able to cast them a second time.

Anyway, whatever works best for you guys and gets you through the process
  7. My main is a Invuln / SS, so the Nerve served me no purpose at all. I have plenty of accuracy since I use rage, not to mention all my attacks are pretty good on acc as well. I don't benefit from the defense that much as I'm already well above soft capped defense. And last, the taunt duration isn't all that great since my taunt and invincibility is already slotted for it. Aggro control isn't something I ever had any issues with.

If you're running physical perfection, the cardiac may not bee something you want, unless you have end issues. I personally do not, so I went with the Spiritual. It provides me with a bit more recharge that gets my DP up fast enough to give me perma DP which provides me a fantastic heal when needed and caps my HP at all times. Not to mention is stacks very well with my DP and lets not forget Rebirth.

All in all, I love my build and wouldn't trade it off for anything else. Because the only time I have end issues is when the Seers hit me with Drain Psyche, and even a Cardiac slotted wouldn't help with that.

Now this issue has since been corrected (very shortly after i20) but in the meantime there were some players (not just the one referenced) who were able to get badges they weren't normally able to, without malicious intent. In summary, we're aware of the issue and are weighing our options on how to best proceed.

Actually, I already have part of the code needed for this, at least I hope it'll work the same way with some modifications of course. The 4 Villain Patron badges have this particular code I spoke of. You can't verify more than 1 badge, you can't manually check more than one badge. All four of those badges count as a single badge since a single character can't possibly earn more than 1. I will be doing the same thing with the Praetorian Acheivement badges as well, but that's gonna take some time.

I'll basically have to recycle that code with a small modification and it should work, but I'll find out when I find time to do so. It's not that big a deal as it doesn't break the site, but it's on the to do list.

Earning, though, is the key word.
Ether earned or not, it was done so through a "BUG" and should not be on a Primal Character, just like when the badges were stripped from me. I earned them through a bug, so having them taken from me is only right. I can argue all day long that I earned them, but they were earned through a bug and therefore should be removed from me, as I'm not meant to have them.

Same goes for anyone else. If earned through a bug, they should be removed.
  11. How the bug happened I don't know. But somehow Blazing Tiger was able to get it. Unfortunately I can't exclude this badge from him, or I'd have to do it with everyone.

All I can do is keep removing it from him. I'm in the process of working on a way to exclude the Praetorian badge from Primal characters and until this happens, I will leave it alone.

I hate to say it, but because its a bug, these badges should be removed from any character. I had a villain character who obtained hero mission badges a long time ago and they were taken from me. I suppose people complained about me having them and they couldn't so they were removed. I can't blame them but they should be removed.
  12. Cross Server Raiding would've served these trials much better, that way there is always trials forming up and making it much easier to get on a team.

I use to do that too, and that worked, but you can get your pets out twice in the time you're taking on the AV. Just cast them out as soon as you exit the Sabatoge phase.

Sorry to say this but each time I ran the requirements for these badges, when the league entered only one side or the other, we had well over a minute left on the timer when we collected all 10 temps, so yeah it's not hard at all when you have 2 teams rushing the objectives.

I've done it 4 times now and each time was very easy and the teams were normal team makeup no min macing on these runs and all went perfectly fine. All you need is 2 people that know where the objectives are. And by now many should know where they are.

Is that what we are missing?
Here are some key points that will help you:
    • Bring as many Seer Lore Pets a you can, more the better.
    • Wait until all mobs are gathered on Marauder before engaging him.Once all mobs are defeated cast your Lore Pets, doing this will give you enough time to cast them a second time before the timer runs out.
    • When you engage him, use all your judgement powers at once, this will eliminate all mobs making it easier to concentrate on him much faster.
    • Be fast getting to Marauder when he jumps to each location.
    • Spam heals as much as possible that way you don't have to back up when Marauder uses his Nova Fist, this will save you a few minutes as well. You lose time when you back up, this will allow you to stay in close and do what you have to do.
Doing these few things will optimize your time, and you should be good to go.

If you only do containers or only crates (or do all containers first, then crates), you will not be awarded extra time. And the base amount of time is around 180 seconds to get 10 objects.

For some reason, the Devs thought it was harder to get 10 objects in 3 mins (twice!) than it was to defeat a massive bag of HP with 100% S/L resistance and unstoppable. It sounds like the psi trick is out of the bag, which might make Marauder trivial, but still, it's a weird design.
Honestly, it's much easier having both teams going in a single area and collecting the temps. 3 Minutes is more than enough time for 16 people to rush the area.

Just for my own personal satisfaction, I lead a team 2 more times to complete the Lambda trial for the other badge requirements for the Well-Stocked and Antacid badge. Which were both successful and even though I didn't get those badges due to me already having them.

I have to say, I really don't understand the reasoning for having to fight him 3 separate times to earn the Master badge. I feel if you defeated the trial once by collecting all 20 temp powers without having used any of them, I think it should award all 3 badges.

Because in a sense, you've completed the trial using 0 temp powers once, why do it 3 times? Just doesn't make any sense to me, but oh well, good luck to anyone else that goes for them, it is very doable indeed.

    The Hamidon

    I said this long ago...

"4 Shards is a slap in the face"

I can get 4 shards running a tip mission solo in less then 15 minutes. Shards for defeating Hami isn't even a reward. If it were 15-20 shard every 20 hours, then it would be worth it, but at this point in the game I think shards are obsolete now that we have threads. But I know they need to be there for others.

Fair enough, but why was I added? It wasted my time inside, but worse, it wasted my 15 minute "first available" wait outside.

Worse, I have to get in another queue to run again -- with no guarantee I won't accidentally be placed on someone else's private run.

I don't know the solution, but it's a problem. Clearly you need to let people tag private runs and/or let the lead refuse people without costing the randomly-queued applicants their spot in the queue. It's irritating enough the "3 min estimated" waits are really 10-15 minutes. But to waste the bigger wait for no good reason is really bad.
It wasn't a private raid man, it was a League Leader being a $*&%^! because people didn't want to deal with the lag on a BAF.

But todays patch fixed that issue. So you will see full BAF teams running again.
  19. Beef_Cake

    Dear Devs

Well after todays patch, I haven't seen a stitch of lag in the Lambda or BAF, or anywhere else for that matter. I am happy it's fixed.
  20. My situation is with my defender.

She is a Rad / Sonic and I use Siren's Song. I use it for soft control, but now the power is rendered useless unless I unslot my Interface. I really would like to see this changed for these type of sleep powers.

I use the Radial Flawless Interface so I could get the extra damage for my attacks, and minor -res that will stack with what I have already. But as you can see, it's seriously affecting one of my powers, this is what I'm hoping to get changed. I know many people may not be affected by this, but for and I'm sure quite a few others it does.

It's a minor oversight and I'm wanting to bring it to the devs attention.
  21. I haven't received the badge nor have I received a email from NcSoft other than support ticket emails. No News letter emails in the past 2 maybe 3 years and I have the news letter checked to receive them.

Seems like more and more things are bugged than I thought.

Well considering the Reactive ability is a global proc, I don't have any say so on what powers it works with, which is why I made my post. The ability shouldn't affect sleep powers, it defeats the purpose of the sleeps.
  23. Devs, is it possible to remove the chance for Fire damage from all the sleep powers when a Reactive Interface ability is slotted? I use my sleep for that exact purpose, for sleep, not damage, so it would be nice if we could exclude the chance proc from the sleep powers. When using a sleep power when a Reactive ability is slotted, it defeats the purpose of the sleep by waking up the enemies from the dot damage.

    Lambda Posers

I won't totally agree with the OP, but I understand his/her concern.

I too notice people skipping out on their teams just to be in the cut scene. Yes, I know they'll get lower rewards, but that's not the issue. The issue is when a team is struggling inside the Sabotage phase, its not right to the rest of the raid members. If the team has finished their area and collected all 10 temps, by all means go have fun. But not when the Sabotage phase starts. Some people don't even enter the area, they'd rather sit and wait while 3 of the 8 from their team tries to finish the Sabotage phase.

It's nice to have fun with the game don't get me wrong, but at the expense of the other raid members who are busting their butts just to complete the raid while others find it "fun" to sit and leech for a few minutes just to show they're awesomesauce to be in a cut scene and throw off a dance emote.

Me personally I don't care if anyone does it, I just 1 star them and don't invite them to my future raids. You want to leech, do it on someone else's raid. I'd rather have people who want to help the raid members complete it, not people who want to leech and put unnecessary strain on the raid team.

    Thugs/?

If you want to solo your missions and fight AVs, Destroy GMs without having to always find help, then go Thugs/Dark. I have one and I have yet to need any help doing anything.
