No there is no theme except for pretty so bring whatever you feel is best I guess.
I was considering having another judge but his costumes aren't nearly as bad as he thinks they are. Decide that later on.
As far as impartiallity is concerned...pfffft. I pick the prettiest of the bunch. -
Hi there.
Back in January I started saving Hero Merits for a Panacea Proc to put on my brute. It seemed like another solution to my End problems, because boy were there many. I think I got up to about eight before I just bought one and promptly slotted it in my base storage table where it sits to this day collecting dust with all of the other pretty things.
With nothing I really wanted to trade them in for I just kept collecting. Was all excited when I hit 15...even more so when 30 came along.
So now I am sitting at around 48 and they just keep coming. There seems no way to stop them.
I need a solution damnit.
Then it occurred to me that I haven't had a costume contest in a while so that is what I am going to do.

When it comes to the Incarnate Trials, it IS a grind if you want to get the top tier stuff, no matter what you do. It's a grind.
And I'm sorry, but this game is starting to turn into work, it seems to me. Five tip missions and two Incarnate Trials per day, plus the alignment mission every other day, plus the WST once a week...just for one toon, just to keep up with the current "stuff" in City of Heroes. I've given up on tip missions and A-merits almost entirely, and I'm about to go the same way with Incarnate Trials.
Just don't.
WHenever something in the game becomes a grind for me I find somthing else to do. It is true that I only have 1 Tier 3 on one of my heroes but that is enough for me.
Currently I am learning how to lead TF teams and that is fun for me. And no grinding either.
Eventually I might get a Tier 4. Or maybe not but I am in no rush to get there. -

Infinite Ammo is a wealthy weapons developer and manufacturer who has even been called a James Bond super-villainess by another player because how she dresses when not in her armored suit. The Steampunk Pack definitely pushes her forward in regards to that image. Hahah!

I have run 6 Trials now since I20 hit.
Ussually I solo but have teamed pretty consistantly for the last 3 months. TFs, Tip teams, missions, monster hunting, even some radios.
The teams are out there. Sometimes you need to form them but they do exhist. -

So this isn't new, but it's new to me. You can get three extra costume slots from doing tailor missions. Check. You can get one by buying Halloween salvage and turning it in. Check.
BUT if you want more than that: You can save your costume at the tailor, then change to a new one [and save THAT.] You can make as many saved costumes as you want, then when you want a costume that's not currently in your closet, you can go to Icon and swap it in.
It costs a couple million inf to change your costume at level 50, but you can now have all the costume slots you want! -

You may have to create your own, which is always fun to do, but it can be done.
It might have to do with the times of day you are picking also.

I have one I actively marketeer on these days. There are a few scattered around with low ball bids but I don't check those very often.
