A scrapper is a type of ArchType (type of hero) that specialises in melee combat. They can use Martial Arts, Dark Energy Attacks, Fists of Fire and lots of other stuff. Defense wise they can have super reflexes to dodge attacks, or maybe the ability to Regenerate if you want.

Scrappers are generally considered the easiest to begin exploring the game with. I started with a blaster who died all the time and quickly moved on to a Fire Controller. (Blasters are well, they blast things from a distance for the most part. Controllers are good at locking baddies down in different ways so that they can not attack, have pets that attack for you, and as a secondary can allow teams to do more damage, make it tougher to be hit and much much more.)

There are also Tanks, and Defenders, a whole bunch of villian types as well.
Lots of variety to choose from.

I'll let someone else talk about those if they want to.

Well, guess I wasn't the first after all. Oh well.

During Free Server Transfers if you are willing to waste 2 spots here is all you have to do.

Go to a sever you seldom use and create a hero(Blue Crusader for our example) with the same name you want to change on the original server.

Transfer the original Blue Crusader over to the seldom used server. This will give him the name of Blue Crusader1.

Flashing at the bottom will be the Rename button. Click on it, rename your hero and then just transfer him back.

Renamed and no cost.

I think I spent quite a bit of time in my first week trying to figure out how to ride on the cars. Only really gave it up when I realized I could slide on rails. Way too much fun.

I really enjoy the Synapse TF. The suggestion of the clockwork shield is neat though.

Now only if they can do something about the Numina TF....

How long did it take in total? A week or so?

I didn't actually expect anything base wise with Rogue/I18. If we are lucky we will get something with I20. Not sure why I think that but it feels right. Perhaps that will give them time to design a better system which will allow exhisting bases to transported over to the new, cool actually functions intuitively system I hope they design.

I wasn't around for the CoP but I'm glad they brought it back if it makes people happy. Rewards are what they are. I still run Katies just because it is fun and I like to have the option of having the hat. I never use it but I always figure one day I will.

I understand what you are saying though. This might of been a missed oportunity for them. New and returning players will be everywhere.

A missed opportunity is definately better then a 2nd broken system. Not that I am totally sure ours is broken but I think they could make it easier and give us more toys to play with.

Think that is all I have to say. Could be wrong, I often am.

Hi Issue. If you are having issues (no pun intended) finding team mates that don't offend you maybe try a different server.

Spent a little bit of time on Virtue but have heard the stories since I got here.

Try Justice on for size. You may just like it. We have our share of idiots too but they tend to be kept in a box and let out only on holidays.

Don't forget there are server transfers coming some time soon.

Ooh picking a new name is such a big event. Took me 3 weeks after I had thought of it and a bunch of wine before I actually did.

Crushing Impacts were the first thing I got into. Started crafting until I saw what the price points were (I would imagine that is what you call the buy and sell spots) and decided why go to all the extra effort for nothing. And so another flipper was born.

Just wanted to say that the listed prices sound reasonable to me. I might go up to 2.3 but then again it has been a long time.

Sorry for the threadjack if that is what I have done. But while I have you here I figured I would say that the advice and suggestions you provide is what I look for when I wander through here. Yours and a handful of others never fail us.

K thought about it. My basic flipping ratio is buy at about 40% and relist at 50-55% (of the Last 5 Sold average, ignoring oddities <but be wary of other flippers..damn those flippers.>) so I would be buying them at 2.1 or 2.2 and relisting at around 2.5 million. So I think you should list a little higher.

And I apologize if this is coming off as presumptuous. Just kind of popped into my brain.

Anyways those are the numbers i kind of run with currently. I don't make billions and billions but I always have enough to do whatever I want.

I never understood why people said the Justice Forum is quiet compared to how it used to be.
Thinking back now, yeah, there was a lot of bickering.

Ok. So I am taking a slightly different approach. I too have stashed a few enhancements that I figure were bought low enough to make a great big profit. But not that many.

Being a flipper I have more or less cancelled most of my bids already and am ignoring the market till next Tuesday. Really don't want to get stuck with slow moving pieces until I know what the new price points are.

I have 7 items that I know the current 'value' of intimately, and how they seem to flow around price wise. I have decided upon the lowball bids I will place when Rogue hits and will relist at new yummy prices 3 days later when the weekend feeding frenzy begins.

Collect new riches without doing much work. Thats how I like it.

If I happen to guess wrong and my bids purchase nothing I really haven't lost anything. Except for my oh so expected new wealth.
If I guess wrong and my relist prices are too high that is ok too. I really only work in the items I would have no problem slotting anyways. Everyone has their favorites.

So thats what I am going to do. I guess it isn't much help to someone just starting out in the Ebil business but you will find your own way of doing things.
