Actually, you have to run it again to reinforce your Hero or Villian alignment if you haven't done the Morality mission since October 19th. That's the date of the patch notes I was directed to by support when I enquired about not being able to select Hero Merit as a reward.
-
Quote:I've run the Alignment and Morality missions many times. I received Hero merits for completing SSA 1 and 2. I expected the same for SSA 3 and was surprised to learn that I have to reinforce my alignment before I can claim the Hero merit. I would have liked to know that before I ran the Arc.Um, they tell you that at the end of SSA 1.
I just ran it last weekend for the first time (I'm a newbie) and it explained that I couldn't get the Merit because I hadn't run a Morality/Alignment Mission.
I then asked how I get Alignment quests in /HELP and they told me about Tips. Easy peasy. -
Quote:That would have been nice to know BEFORE running SSA 3. And in game.2) Run a full set of alignment missions and a morality mission to CONFIRM your current alignment. Even if you were always a hero, you still need to do this once.
Learning about it on the forums is just the cherry on the annoyance sundae. -
DC brought back letter columns in their books about a year ago.

Quote:The season premiere had what 7 million plus viewers? That's a WHOLE lot more people than have read the comics. People may lose interest because of the amount of dumbnessBesides what would be the point of watching a show that is panel for panel out of a comic? People would lose interest and the show would no longer be aired.......
on display in every episode but most viewers wouldn't know or care if it was a perfect adaptation. -
not worth the bother. My original post not the big weapon set.

I remember seeing some of these posts in a different thread on the CBR board but didn't catch the end of them. Now they've been gathered in their own thread by Fabian N, the writer of the Legion Lost DCnU comic. Skim through to the end for a couple new posts from the original poster and comments from Fabian.

Dark Skies and Threshold. Watching the alien invasions progress and the responses to them would be pretty interesting IMO.

Heh, I was hoping to catch some of the teammates who might have been on with others characters. One more did log on just after that and we worked our way through where we were joined by a third for the finale.

Our team of 8 was on it's way to the last mission of the Silver Mantis SF.

Quote:The snark was uncalled for. Not everyone gets Syfy Mondays. For myself, Alphas is airing now, Eureka starts in September and Warehouse 13 season three will show Ghu only knows when. I'd rather avoid spoilers in a multi-show thread and thus stay away from them.Since you couldn't be bothered to join the rest of us in the weekly threads about SyFy Mondays I'll reply here.
As for the OP, I focus on what's different in Alphas delivery of the often used Sci fi and superhero tropes. -
I'm shocked that everyone's top ten lists are different from everyone else's. Shocked I say!

Even if your account is active, if you have characters who haven't been played for more than 500 days* those names should be made available. Just sayin'.
*totally arbitrary number -
For me it's just one of those "guilty pleasure" shows that you know are mostly dumb but keep watching to se just how dumb they are. Primeval had some good twists that never really paid off and in the later seasons they really drop the ball when it comes to playing out longer term storylines. But I'm a sucker for time travel/rift stories and the creature FX are pretty decent. There are worse ways to kill 45 minutes watching TV.

I'd like an endgame with an actual ending. One last big mission/TF (solo or team) with a permanent retirement from play for that character and a send-off cutscene dependant on victory or defeat.

Unfortunately the mysteries weren't compelling enough to have me come back after a 3 MONTH! break.
