Put this to a tiny test last night. Ran 3 BaFs in a row on my Fire/Dev blaster. Was on the "Adds" team on each of them.
2 rares in row when I would run around the corner and drop AOEs on the AVs to up my "contribution."
It's no wonder in all the Trials I've run I've only ever got the common table, maybe twice. I'm a click-a-holic and I can DoT all over the place.
1 uncommon on the run I didn't. -

I remember last year there were a bunch on eBay. But then again, a bunch were fakes and people got turned away at the door. Not sure if you'd want to risk it.
You'll have better luck (and a better time imho) getting into smaller cons like WonderCon, WizardWorld, and C2E2. Good luck! -

Brilliant marketing plan! Put up poster for 1 day, get a bazillion views across all media. You can't BUY the kind of reach that poster just got!
-
Great contest idea Supa, and I've added ya to the Ambassador list. Can't wait to kick this off this weekend on Pinnacle
-
I'm not 100% on what you mean by "pathes" but I'll definitely be posting an alt when I get home tonight! Sounds like a fun project
-
This needs to happen. Then it needs to face off against the life-sized Gundam they erected in Japan a while back!!

Hmmmm...if you do 2 raids then we'd be starting up about 830pm Eastern? That may cut things a bit late for East Coasters as our play sessions usually last 2+ hours. On a Sunday no less. If you think it'll work I'm all for it since I'm on the West coast and that's prime playing time for me
-
We don't just go in, we also play and enjoy AE! If you haven't been there for a while, join us and see for yourself. You gotta be burned out on the trials by now, anyway
-
Hmmm, we've never changed our meeting time but I have no problem switching it up for a week. This whole experiment is about getting out of our box and mixing it up, so if you think it's a better timeslot for that server let's do it. I'll be available at that time, at least.

So, is it any good? The cover lacks spandex, or people for that matter, and that makes me wary...

Quote:Here's one that's a bit out of the box for ya: #487283, The Crafter's Cafe.April has arrived! You may begin submitting entries now. Entries will be accepted through 23:59 Eastern time on Friday April 22. The winning author will be announced on April 29 at or shortly after 20:00 Eastern Time.
Note: this is a NON-COMBAT mission so you will get no xp or tickets from it. But if you do a lot of crafting and often find yourself at the AE vendor buying salvage and recipes, you may find this to be one of the most useful arcs ever. It actually features usable invention tables!
Plus, it's chock full of fun clues and characters if you like to explore. Tell 'em I sent ya and the first drink's on the house -
Prepare yourself, Pinnacle Server, you're about to have a sudden influx of fun!!
The Mission Architect Superteam is coming to Pinnacle and we're bringing the FUN of AE with us! Join us this Sunday (4/17/11), 12 noon eastern/9am pacific, at the AE Building in the Rikti War Zone as we play AE arcs for the stories, not the XPs.
If you've ever wondered what AE would be like with a group of fun teammates who take the time to read and aren't interested in farming, don't miss this event!
For the last year and a half the MA Superteam has been meeting each week on Triumph, playing all kinds of arcs and generally promoting the fun of AE. We've developed a unique, team-friendly playstyle where we take the time to copy/paste all the contact dialog so everyone in the group can follow.
Well, the time has come to branch out from Triumph and share our unique brand of fun with the rest of the servers...starting with PINNACLE!
Pinnacle regular, Bubbawheat, will be leading the charge as we play through some of the best arcs AE has to offer. We're not talking about those outdated Dev Choice or Guest arcs, these are the best arcs you've probably never heard of...and not a one of 'em is a Farm
If this sounds like something you'd like to experience, please join us this Sunday in the RWZ! All levels and ATs are welcome to join. If we have more than 8 show up, we'll simply break up into multiple teams.
tl;dr version:
Who: Open to all Pinnacle players (any level or AT)
If you have any questions or suggestions on arcs you'd like to play please post 'em here. We look forward to having fun with Pinnacle!
What: Story driven AE teaming with the Mission Architect Superteam
Where: AE Building in Rikti War Zone, Pinnacle
When: Sunday 4/17, 12 noon Eastern, 9am Pacific
Why: For FUN! -
Our first Ænvasion is next Sunday (4/17/11) on Pinnacle! I will be on Pinnacle this Wednesday night after 530pm Pacific if anyone wants to make an alt and level up a bit.

The superteam managed to pry itself away from the oh-so-shiny new stuff just long enough for a round of High Roller! The dice were hot, quips were sharp, and a good time was had by all.
#405340 "The Rogue Vahzilok by @Lone Superpower
5 Mish, Rogue
#435191 "The Cult of Kren'Goras" by @Aegis Wolf
5 Mish, Heroic
Bubba won the first roll and chose an arc he recently reviewed. The Rogue Vahzilok was a neat concept of Dr. V chasing down a rogue eidolon. It's ties to canon were inaccurate and surprise ending was predictable, but it still won BEST EFFORT for the week.
Both of these arcs could use some good feedback to help tighten them up, load 'em up if you've got some time and give 'em a whirl!
Next up, Fred got the high roll and chose one he's had on his 'to test' list for a while. The Cult of Kren'Goras is part 3 of a series of stand-alone-yet-tied-together arcs by @Aegis Wolf. Each of the arcs features characters from his original dimension, Natural Earth, which is inhabited by plant/human hybrids created by Hamidon to save the human race from a great plague.
Warning: this arc appears to be in the early stages of editing and there are a lot of grammar and typo mistakes. As such, it's also pretty text-heavy with lots exposition, but there's an interesting story behind it all. My favorite part of the arc had to be the Natural Earth version of Manticore (whom I dubbed, "Planticore!") That character alone rewards this arc BEST CUSTOMS for the week
Next Sunday (4/17/11): the Ænvasion! begins!! For the next 10-12 weeks the superteam is going to 'invade' a different server, opening our ranks to players who don't have alts on Triumph. Next Sunday our first target is Pinnacle!!
If you play on Pinnacle already meet us in the AE Building in Rikti War Zone for some AE fun! Bubbawheat will be leading and is coming prepared with some of our favorite arcs! If you're not already playing on Pinnacle, roll up an alt! All levels and ATs are welcome -

The password is, "guest?!?"
Holy s*it, our security is atrocious. -
I only "watch" this show as background noise while I play CoH since nothing else is on during it's timeslot. That said, did I see Lucy Lawless in an episode?!?
I'd give it another shot if she's gonna be a regular! -
Pyronic Judgement: and you thought Longbow Flamethrowers were pushing it with the "heroes don't kill" policy. -

Quote:Yeah, as posted in the other thread you don't get badge credit from anything in the AE so Field Crafter isn't going to work. But it will save you travel time if you need to craft IOs you want to use or sellSadly, crafting in the AE map doesn't give crafting badge progress, if that was your plan.
On a related side note: someone noticed today that you can't craft the Lost Curing Wand from the Heroside Midnighter Arc, either. It just deletes the salvage and you get no wand! Weird. -
Quote:Not sure if someone posted this already, but this issue is solved: next time you're in AE and want to craft, just load up arc #487283 "The Crafter's Cafe." It's a non-combat mission with working invention tables so you don't have to run all over creation to craft.
3. FOR THE AE/BM/UNIVERSITY: Ok seriously, for the love of all that is holy and dear to the world, can you not allow us to have our recipe window open at the same time we're trying to use the AE Ticket Vendor? It... well.. you know... makes sense that I would want the ability to SEE the recipe and required Salvage so I would know what to buy without needing to break out a pencil and notepad first. C'mon now.. Make it EASIER for us to use the game, instead of making it more time consuming and hassling to try and accomplish our goals. If you want, I'll raise 20billion infamy to build a University in Sharkhead, NEAR THE DOCKS/BM/AE/Ferry, why? Cuz then I have a central hub to utilize instead of having to zone here, or use a jetpack to fly up here, or etc etc. I mean, i like running around the zones as much as the next person, but after the 500000000th lap through Aeon City in Cap i'd really rather never set foot up there again, move the AE down to the University area.
Good luck on your other 2 points and may be the froth be with you
