From the Age of 3, Melinna had been trained by her father in the use of various fire arms and devices. Because of her early age, she grew up with extrodinary skills in the area. However without a motherly influance in her life, she is also rather violent. At the age of 13, her father known as Commander Ryga was placed in jail after his Mercenary group was aprehended stealing goverment documents. Because of her age Melinna was taken in by by the Hero Corps. Possibly due to her violent nature and skill with fire arms, they forced her into a training course and made her a registured hero. Something that to this day ticks her off but she follows the job as her father made sure that she knew how to follow orders.

The skulls that decorate her armor have tiny microcramera's that link to her brain which allows her sight. Information on these camera's will be forwarded to you if you can find away to use incorperate them so she doesn't have to run around completely blind.



On a side note, Her base face is the supernatural one with the eyes closed.

Err is this an issue of capabality at this point or an issue of speed?

If its an issue of speed then I think that devices slows progress down a little. The bonus being that solo becomes slightly safer.

My main Blaster is 42 Assualt/Devices, Currently 390 hours clocked on it. (more or less)

My second blaster is level 33 Archery/Electric, I beleive around 110 hours clock on it.

So far between the two... I think My Archer is actualy getting kills faster. Not as safe when solo but still.

I don't solo all the time with eather of them. The most noticable play diffrence I have between the two is this. On my main... when on a team, Devices most of the devices pool becomes completely useless to me. At the same time, on my archer, I still end up using everything.

This is of course, personal play experance.

<_< can't most controllers immobolize AV's till their hold protection drops. (my blaster does that...)

Devices gains best usage solo. You can set up your traps and open with a blast to gain attention. (caltrop ontop of trip mines so they bloody explode at the right point.) smokegrenade and cloaking device to lay a time bomb as an opener. (no good on targets with long range perception.... and can see thought stealth.) Auto Turret... ok I have no positive comments about this, I was looking forward to it... when I got it, I stick with it for a couple of levels.. dropped it... Sorry but I was horribly disappointed in this power.

Energy provides strong boost to the primary by way of build up, boost range, and power boost. (plus conserve power) In a team situation, energy is far more useful considering that there really isn't a set up time. EXTREAMLY few teams will wait for you to set up anything with devices.

Energy and Electric provide melee attacks that in a pinch can do very impressive single target damage should you feel the need to take a risk.

Ice provides slows, a pbaoe sleep, a hold, and ice slick. All of which can be useful depending on the situation. Ice patch as it's called can be useful in pulling though doors to clump targets together further. The slow of shiver could leave targets withen rains longer or make it harder for them to scatter suddenly. Build up doesn't need to be explained.

Fire... uh.... gives you more damage... with AOE's... (especialy if you are completly out of your gord with the way you play it )


Team wise, Devices is rather far behind the rest.

Solo, its great...

Alrighty, this guy is currently level 18 meaning in two levels... new costume. The question is...what to do? I'm tempted to just take the helmet off. (but that would require picking hair and I usualy have issues with picking hair for someone who started with a hat on. Ya know what I mean?)

We are completely casual, don't care about pvp (doesn't mean we won't go once in a while.) While we want a base, not a priority at all.

Create new toon, talk to person infront of you , get enough xp from said person to be level 40 and six million influance/infamy. Find leveler person(s), level to 40. go to enhancement person... buy enhancements.... go into pvp... and hope you don't get ate.

Which Turrets (turrents?) are you talking? I found that once the pill box is taken, the Turrets become EASY. (kind of... still painful when they are all hitting you at once) The reason being that before they are capture, the are level 54 Bosses. Once taken, they are level 50 (though still no idea why a couple always shows up yellow instead of orange yet still say boss next to it.) You do much less damage to a +4 boss then an even level one. (not to mention your accuracy)

During an empty period, I had to go get one of the mechs to destroy the turrets on an unclaimed pill box. Those things were eating me.

What are the resistances of Electric Shields? (has anyone checked already?)

I created a pve concept character and tried it in Victory. Its a Fire/Fire Tanker, Acrobatics and Stamina. Don't got tough. While fighting several diffrent brutes, I noticed that I was really hurting the ones running Electric Shields. (Couldn't touch them when they ran the final power)

Thinking that Fire Aura was "considered" weakest of the tanker sets (lots of holes) I had decent survival against most brutes. We hurt each other at about the same rate. Except for Electric Shields....

Wouldn't mind Archery and Assualt Rifle getting sharper teeth. (As it stands now, villians mostly ignore me if I shoot at them with Archery, I try to use my melee, then I'm actualy noticed.)

Did a test pvp raid with Sg, Charged Brawl to Havoc Punch to Thunder Strike caused a scrapper to drop and knock a fire tank on his back. I contribute that to their toggles being dropped. Did the same combo (yes both times Build and Aim were used) against a blaster who was running Force of Nature. Half killed him...

Next, used archery (all my attacks...) Couldn't do enough damage to any of them. If I had enough time, I could possibly have shot the Blaster to death, he being Ice however, shot me into the ground in no time flat.

Would making the toggle drop for some powers one hundred percent and others at seventy-five be too much?

I beleive that the current live numbers for toggle drops were kind of decenet except for one aspect. They only should have dropped a single toggle. If anything, it should have been a luck of the "drop" to get the toggle you were after. Instead however, things had a chance to drop two or three toggles at one time. Tat speaks to be alittle over kill in my mind.

Take a blaster's melee strike, Total Focus. IF it dropped one toggle and only one, place it against a tanker or brute. You see the hit go off but depending on how many toggles are being run, you would have a one and *number of toggles* chance of hitting that sweet spot and mez the tanker/brute.

Being Total Focus is a high damage power, It shouldn't have a garenteed drop but it should be high.

It would be a game of odds, the numbers I see now, the non-heavy hitter Powersets are gonna catch more "L" with no compensation for it.

What is the Mag of Tanker/Scrapper/Brute/Stalker hold protection?

And what is the recharge of all three of an Ice/Ice Blaster's holds + duration?

Are /fire and /ice defeating you in the same mannor?
