have you tried changing the password then leaving it for like half hour, then trying again. I remember being told that even if you change the passowrd it takes some time for it to update to the servers. Alot of people make the mistake of changing the password and thinking it instant, then when it doesnt work they change ti again without waiting for it to update.
Then again the updates must be routine so depending on when it last updated it could be instant or an hour etc.

It was totally unplayable earlier tonight, kept disconnecting every minute or so and it was really becoming irratating. I ended up leaving for a few hours just to let it sort itself out, was a bit better when i came back, thank goodness

My game seems to randomly crash when I click Wentworths, sometimes it's perfectly fine but others I click it and it just freezes and comes up 'not responding' so I have to end the process.
It's only started happening since i13 and to be honest I'm starting to get very tired of all the random crashing and basic instability of the game since the issue was introduced.
I would like to know when the games going to be made more stable rather than worrying about a Mac Beta. what's the good of playing on the Mac if it crashes randomly about the place.
I love this game and I'm not going to go down the 'I'll leave if you don't sort it' threats. But seriously it's now getting ridiculous.
Any word from a redname would be appreciated. Also I know it's not my pc, it ran fine before i13 and I have friends who are getting the same thing happening to them.

Catch is ,you have to have headphones for it to work, so plug them in and enjoy! boy is it awesome. can you imagine this in games? to listen to a bullet fly past your head, to hear someone creeping up behind you as if they actually are there.
As you can probably tell I'm having a nerd trip, but this stuff rocks. Would be awesome to see it in CoH but I doubt it's even possible to use in games, or at least very expensive.

Isn't it something to do with the statserv updating? so you get the xp it just takes time for the server to update before you get it.

I don't actually know if this is a bug or it's just me but i was playing my WS today and the fall damage is huge. Usually it takes a bit off and thats that. Today i didnt fall far after TP and it was knocking me down to 1hp, it was like i'd jumped off a skyscraper or something.
it's probably just me, but thought i'd let you know.

Also i think you have to think about the practicalities of some powers. Maybe the game engine doesnt allow for some powers from the comics to work so they've used some weapons to fill in the gaps.
I for one would love a water power, preferably on the Blaster AT. i15 should be going Underwater! With the game engine changes i've heard about surely they can do that now.

I can see where the OP is coming from but i have a problem with just Copycatting powers from popular comics. It goes into the realm of cliche's really.
I'd like to see original ideas. I mean if you think about it the CoX powers we currently have are pretty much generic. You could see multiple heroes having them powers. Whereas stretching seems very specific and i think just wouldn't work en mass.

The problem i have is that the grey is so ambiguous. Sometimes they aren't looking for a team and sometimes they are. I send tells to grey's anyway just in case.

Fact is most people just forget to change they're status, just put in a search comment and leave it.
I think it should work the opposite way round. the white looking for a team should be default and the user should have to express otherwise. This'll make people more aware of their LFT status. With this being a game largely based on teaming i don't think most people will mind. It's easy to just set hide.

I also like the idea of a message reminding you of your status will certainly help people remember what they've put rather than being suprised when they dont get asked to team and visa versa.

Forgive me if this has already been suggested but i did a search and couldn't find anything.

I think it would be good to be able to see what Global Friends are online and what character's they are playing before we actually login a character.

I don't know about everyone else but i tend to team alot with my globals, we help each other out etc. I'm levelling a villain at the moment with one and it's just great working at an even pace.

It would be a hell of alot easier if i could see who was online and what with before i logged in because then i could make a decision on what i was going to play as.

I have no idea if this is even plausible, maybe it can come up with character select or even logging into the plaync website or something. All i know is it'd make my life easier! without having to login then relog to change characters.

i've had a few nasty tells over the years but the worst one was someone who wanted to date me in RL. As long time readers may remember I'm a boy who likes boys not girls and dating a female isn't an option, especially someone who I have never actually met. It started with a few teams where I was awesome, then it went to I really like you, then it was declarations of undying love and I want to marry you. I found it terribly creepy and refused to reply any more. Being a newby I didn't know about ignore and felt terrible when I logged on as all I got was bunny boiling tells and e-mails. Eventually the leader of the SG i had just joined pointed me in the direction of petitioning and never heard anything more. But for the three weeks it went on for it was quite disturbing.

I totally get this, I'm also a 'boy who likes boys' and was followed around for weeks by this person who would not leave me alone. It started with me helping them out alot, Sking, helping with inf and that sort of thing. I like to be nice to people especially when i see they need it. Then it went past friendly too freaky. Generally the same stuff: undying love, marriage, 2.4 children. Even when i found the wonders of ignore and hide they'd /tell SG friends or people i teamed with regular to see if i was around Eventually i got so fed up with it i blew up at them and threatened to petition it all if they didnt go away... I think they got the hint. I'm really not a nasty person but there is only so much one can take.
It never ceases to amaze me that people pay to get into this game just to send lewd comments to others. I lose count of the amount of creepy people that try and come onto you, especially when you play a female character.
I'm generally a good and friendly person, i make teams alot and really try to have fun in game, shame everything has to have it's downside.

Wow... just wow. I shall start by saying i really do feel for the OP. I'd be gutted if it happend to me and it only serves really to make people more wary of 'noobs' rather than giving them the benefit of the doubt, we were all 'noobs' once.

Secondly i think Max needs to take a look at their own value system. Simply allowing access to something does not imply in any way that you are free to take everything out of it and do a runner. The OP already said that he stated nothing was to be taken out of it unless owned by the person. So although he had access he did NOT have permission to take out the stuff. There is a subtle yet distinct difference between the two.

Thirdly i think this was very calculated. Obviously this person planned to do this from the beginning, as was made obvious by the fact they wanted 'more access' very early on and infact were close to making an issue out of it. He's probably given the stuff to his own or an Sg an alt is in and quite frankly i believe he knew he was going to get away with it too. To be honest i approve of the naming and shaming. I think he should be outed for the thieving toerag he is, so he can suffer the justice of the community if not Customer Support.

Lastly to the OP, I don't think leaving the game will get you anywhere. Sure i understand your moral dilemma but you effect change from the inside not with a one man boycott. By leaving you are letting this person win. They wanted you to get upset and leave, makes things alot simpler and allows them to get away with even more. I doubt you will ever get your stuff back, i know thats wrong but it's just how it is. Don't let this one idiot ruin 3 1/2 years of good times, and possibly another 3 1/2 years of more fun.

I have been getting this ever since the last patch. It never happend before then. It's not often but it does it enough to be more than just irratating.

Rofl not that anyone cares but i think i managed to fix it by turning of the Real-Time shield in my spyware protector. It stopped all the probkems. I'm just waiting for it to start again now and prove me wrong

I dont know if you can help me with this but all of a sudden the sound keeps repeating at random intervals. Nothing about my system has changed and it worked totally fine before. Now the sound repeats and sometimes i get moved back on the screen, like i move forward then 2 seconds later i'll move back halfway up the street. Its getting rather annoying and i've tried lowering graphics and relogging but to no avail. Any help would be appreciated.

If you go into Options you should be able to reset all your keybinds to default. You may have to redo them all but it should solve your problem.
