Don't forget to go over the list of grievances first!

For the restofus, Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays. For whichever holiday you celebrate, may you be happy and healthy and may 2011 bring forth nothing but the best for each and every one.
  2. "Yes I know, the Texans are like soft core porn, you see them doing it, but never see them finish. But what is a fan to do..."

I am a Seahawks fan....we never even get to start....let alone finish.
  3. Go figure that the weekend you might run it, I will be working. I am working from noon EST to 10PM on Saturday and Sunday (a slight reprieve from 10AM). So, if the start time of this hypothetical task force could be perhaps an hour earlier than usual (9AM EST), I could join in this said hypothetical possible run for Kahn (if there is a restart, I don't think I could stay for a second try though).

Now, if States is the following weekend (hypothetically), I will be in Colombia, but unsure where the devil in Colombia I will be, it's either Medellin or Pereira (in regards to be able to a) have internet connection that is not 56K and b) be able to free up a couple of hours of game time). Put me down as an alternate for States as once I get my feet on the ground, I can assess the situation better.

Well, if I miss out, I hope those that participate, can earn those lovely Mo badges which are commonplace in a Capa-led Mo run!
  4. I concur. It's nice to see the server status in any other color than green!
I am hoping that it stays this way and does not drop off too much. Also, did the Apex TF the other day, and that was quite entertaining. Good to see them do something different with a TF. Have not tried Tin Mage, but I hope I can in the next couple of days. Hopefully, as they introduce the rest of the incarnate slots, etc. they can also add some more TF/SF content as well, open up the Shadow Shard for both heroes and villains (and some new task forces out there would be great), etc. I am a little biased when it comes to the Shard, but it's my job, =)
  5. I will be working like a dog that weekend, so I won't be able to make it. Good luck with the runs and hopefully I will be able to do the next run on location in Colombia.
  6. Hello. Seeing that the next two weeks, the raids fall on Christmas and New Year's Day, will you be running them as scheduled, taking those two weeks off or do you plan on running these raids on alternate days? Just curious as I am trying to update as much as I can before I leave for vacation in 2 weeks.
  7. Can a moderator please sticky this topic?
  8. Let me know when you run an impromptu weekend run.
    Congrats on the successful run!!

EDIT - since I saw you added a request section, I also need the MoSTF along with the MoKahn.
I will be out of the country from 12/22 - 01/10, but I am hoping to be able to get some game action on my vacation.
Once I can assess the internet situation over there, I will advise (in case any of these get run during the weeks I am on vacation).
    Thanks again, Capa!
  9. Just got my incarnate done on my main, so if you can swing an invite to little ol' me, that would be splendid.
  10. Another fantastic run.

Blue CoP = Storm Aspect (crushed Stormie)
Rikti Raid = Nearly flawless and a bunch of merits to buy goodies
Red CoP = Big Red Aspect (defeated Big Red)

Omega and the crew by far run the best CoP trial that I have been on, and I have been on several others over the past couple of months since the CoP was re-introduced. I look forward to the next run, in two weeks as one of my last CoH events on US soil (before I head off with the misses to Colombia for 2 weeks +).

Thank you, Omega and everyone else who ran and participated in tonight's triple header.
  11. If you have room, I can bring either my blaster or dark x3 defender.
  12. Curses for my utter lack of playing time.
Congrats to you all for completing the TF.
Hopefully, I will get my chance on Sunday (or once I can slot the Alpha or whatever I need to do)
  13. Welcome to all of the new members that have joined in the month of November. I hope you find the page a good source of player events and other shenanigans that only the Guardian server can create!

We added 7 new members over the month of November and our group now stands at 188 strong (and still....#1)!!

Next update will be on the 1st of January. I will be out of the country, but will still be updating the Facebook site as usual.
  14. My main, Armeros.
Not sure which path I am going to take, however.

Enjoy the new content everyone....as Issue 19 has been live for a couple of hours or so...

  16. Greetings and salutations....

I am @Armeros and I have been a resident of the Guardian server now for 6 years +. I was introduced to the game by my best friend (and best man at my wedding). He no longer plays (is on active duty currently in Iraq) and he tried to connect over there with very little success so he moved on to WoW. Still trying to get him to get back into the game once his deployment ends next year.

I don't play that many toons, although I have 15-20 on the server. I am 99% blue side (although once I move my main over redside, I will be there for a bit to get all those badges). I have 3 Level 50 toons (yes 3 in 6 years...I am a bit slow on that front). I love to play my blaster and 90+% of the time, I will use that toon. I have some controllers and defenders that I play as well. I don't do scrappers or tanks very well, so while I have them on the roster, I tend not to run with them much.

I am mostly a weekend player, usually in the mornings. Although if there is something that I really want to do, I can get on during the week in the evenings. I am in the Eastern Time Zone (Florida). I am the self appointed "Park Ranger of the Shadow Shard" and I love to run those Shadow Shard TF's. Hopefully once I get back from my trip to Colombia next month, I will start running a weekly run in 2011 for those weekend warriors such as myself! I am also the admin for the City of Heroes Guardian Group on Facebook (which is the largest server group on Facebook...188 members and still growing!!) Not everyone is on Facebook, but I update it with events that will be going on in game, etc. It's another place to be able to put a face to the toon.

The Guardian community is special in so many ways. But, in the end it is like a second family for many of us. Somewhere where we can be ourselves and enjoy playing with good friends and have fun. That in the end is what it's all about, because not having fun and paying $15 a month would not be really good now would it!
  17. May you all be blessed on this Thanksgiving Day.
  18. Sorry to hear of your back issue (hopefully you are feeling much better)

Thank you for the update. I will post it up as soon as I get home.
  19. Was there a Hamidon run last week?
There is usually a little blurb with how quickly you all took down Hamidon,
Also, will there be one this week? Seeing that it's the day before Thanksgiving, I just wanted to make sure it was still on so I can update the Facebook page.
    Thank you.
  20. Flawless

Other than the extra organizing time for the redside run (which happens), this weekend triple header was spectacular. My redside toon, who I had to dust off with a hurricane earned his badge, the Rikti raid netted me nearly 500 merits for my blueside badge toon and finally, it was such a pleasure to see Big Red when we entered the Cathedral. Fantastic effort by all parties, from the top down.

I will definitely run these again if organized and now that I have the badge on my main (and other than getting the MoSTF and MoKahn) I can finally delve into the redside with him and get all those badges so I can come close to the leaders.

    For future blue runs, I can bring along my dark x 3 defender (50), a sonic/emp defender (45) and a fire/kin controller (50).

    Thanks again, Omega!!

EDIT - Wondering if you plan on running the CoP this coming holiday weekend. I know some other in-game weekly events are taking the week off, just wondering so I can post it on Facebook.
