Mission Accomplished
I concur. It's nice to see the server status in any other color than green!
I am hoping that it stays this way and does not drop off too much. Also, did the Apex TF the other day, and that was quite entertaining. Good to see them do something different with a TF. Have not tried Tin Mage, but I hope I can in the next couple of days. Hopefully, as they introduce the rest of the incarnate slots, etc. they can also add some more TF/SF content as well, open up the Shadow Shard for both heroes and villains (and some new task forces out there would be great), etc. I am a little biased when it comes to the Shard, but it's my job, =)

I also agree wholeheartedly, but I'm not chiming in just to say /signed.
The Incarnate system is great in that it has revitalized the entire community.
Not just to play in general, but to play the normal game content... and a LOT of it!
Even the AE Babies have been drawn into it, and are steadily becoming normal players.
That being said, and at the risk of sidetracking the thread, Praetoria and all of the world-building time & money spent there seems less well thought out.
I mean, we already didn't have enough users to fill up both Blue and Redside. Why add a third, discrete world? Once people got their play of it, it's mostly going to stay empty. And while that portion of the CoX gaming population is off in Praetoria, they're not in CoH or CoV, making those games even less populous than they were before.
The incarnate system did what Praetoria apparently didn't -- it's gotten a whole ton of people back on and playing, every day, every night.
Personally I think all that money spent on building and marketing Praetoria would have been better spent on marketing CoX and getting in new players. Right now it seems CoX grows or shrinks on the basis of word-of-mouth more than it does any ongoing marketing effort.
I may be "tar n feathered" for saying this but I will toss this out there. Nezz made a nice long post about this on facebook but I don't think he put it here.
Incarnate system..yes it is awesome.
Incarnate system..TO EASY TO OBTAIN.
I agree with Nezz that if someone has Alpha slotted it should be "awe inspiring". It should mean that a player really REALLY had to work at getting it. He had an INCREDIBLE idea that there should have been multiple arcs that was specific to each Arch Type. The arcs should have been "solo" arcs that tested the players ability to play the chosen AT that they wanted the Alpha slot on. YES I know a LOT of work for the programmers.
This means in theory I19 would have been all about doing ARC's for opening Alpha slots and I20 would have been the release of Apex & Tin Mage TF's for those that got Alpha slotted.
I would have felt way more challenged as a gamer had it gone this route.
Just my personal thoughts on that.
As far as the new TF's go.. Apex and Tin Mage I LOVE them. They are a challenge and can't be won every time, I just wish there was a better reward for them.

Easy? You should have seen how it was in the I18/GR Beta. THAT was Easy.

Biggest Troll on the forums? I'll give you a hint:
I would like to say that I think the developers did something right with the release of I19, from a "let's get the users back on and playing" standpoint.
The servers are constantly full of activity nowadays, which I love. Problem now is trying to pull together a team while other groups are doing the same thing for different task/strike forces. It is a little harder to get lower level content groups started though, but I'm sure it is being done.
I'm also seeing supergroups bringing back raids that they haven't run in a while, supergroups who have recently started running raids continuing to do so, and supergroups trying their hand in the running the raids for the first time. This is promising. I hope that groups continue this even after the glow of I19 has diminished and we move on to the next shiny toys.
More importantly though, I've seen a lot of veterans *queue the angelic chorus* bringing out previously retired or semi-retired characters, because of the respecs or because of Alpha slotting. This gives me the opportunity to team with characters and/or players I probably would never have had the opportunity to team with before.
