I'm not sure about PD, because I can't stand the place for longer than 20 seconds, but at GG, if the plot's happening out there in public, then it's theoretically open to all who think they can do something.

This is very interesting - but for someone toying with the idea of role play, would i be right to assume it would be better to join someone elses plot than making your own? Also, if you are not in a RP SG at the moment, is it not a bit rude to 'butt in' in PD and try and get in on the plot (sorry if i sound dumb, im kinda interested to try this kinda thing out but I am a coward and a bit scared of being rubbish at it

AoE's are often less useful as duo's, although she may herd in later levels, so I'd go for something that doles out considerable ST damage.

Scrappers'd be chasing around all over the shop trying to keep up with the madness; I'd rather a blaster at her side (safe inside Hurricane), throwing out attack after attack after attack.

So, some sort of single-target blaster? I think I'd go for Ice and a secondary of your choice; maybe elec to add a theme? In fact, Ice/Elec would probably fit well both thematically and synergistically.

Thanks Ravenswing. My main problem comes when i cant think of a story that works well with 'unsynergised' powers even for PvE, such as a fire/kin. Id love to get one to 50, but as i can never think of a story, I just cant be [censored] to level one

Damzie and Kin can farm my WS to 50, which would be nice

I have an odd question...or more of a thought really. Im not a role player (Ive tried but I dont seem to get much further than buying a drink!) but I always write a back story, infact, if I can think of a back story, I delete the character! This tends to make my characters powers themed (eg Abi in Black is a fire,fire,fire magic using blaster). Do any roleplayers play characters without backstories, or do u do what i do and delete them if u cant think of one

both built for themes....Winters Kiss - storm/ice and Autumns Kiss - storm/electric. Both play well, but as I said, i picked them for a theme. Ice is better i think, a little end heavy tho
