If you'll find yourself short of a person to start, give me a shout as Psy-knight won't do much good in that TF. I wish i can level up Apostle(currently level 43) to help you with more reasonable hero.

Sorry about that folks - not 5 minutes after starting the thread Virgin kindly broke our internet again.....finally got around to fixing it today....apparently there was a fault causing (and I quote) 'Minor Connection Issues'.........if no connection for an entire week(barring 1 hour of working internet)is a minor issue I don't want to know what they term a 'major connection issue'.
Ah well...figures that would happen given the way my luck runs....

Just made a minor amendment to the thread title for everyone on this. Not sure if I'm around this weekend (I should be), and would like to offer the services of a L45 Rad/Psi Defender who will probably need a SK, so if I can be added to the reserve list for 10/01/09, that would be awesome.

Okay folks, I'm planning on looking to start this around about 14:00 british time; currently (assuming everyone turns up) we have 3 defenders,a blaster and a controller - if anyone else is interested please let me know because as it stands currently we don't have the numbers necessary to actually start the TF.

I'll try to come (can not promise). 3 defenders could mean not enough damgae and I hope one of them is an empath. U will probably need 2 /rads (or a defender). A tank is a must. Stone is the best for the job, but ice and inv could also be applicable. Don't take fire coz he can't tank the mighty Lord. Not sure about the other tank sets.
So just my thoughts. Craggy and Clawd if you could change to other toons that would be nice. Don't get me wrong i would like a challenge but all missions are pretty doable with almost any mix of teams, just the last one we need that pretty balance (1 tank, empath, 2 rads, others heavy dmg dealing) so all that work won't go down the toilet.
Also most should be lvl 50 (tank must be), and the others if not 50 (at least the dmg dealers) lvl 45, 46 or 47 so they can be sked to lvl 49. Lvl 48 is the worst lvl u can have in this TF 
yeah i only have one 50 and it's that toon i want to do the tf with anyway. shame these things depend on a particular setup of powersets and ats.
then again with 2 blasters, a controller, tank and 4 defs we did it, pretty darn easily. 2and a half hours including a break in the middle.
well done to all who turned up and special thanks to our last minute tank Ultimate Stone.

*nods enthusiastically* Team Squishy, as we named ourselves when we were at 7 players (Controller, 4 Defenders, 2 Blasters), were on FINE form once we snagged Ultimate Stone to tank for us.
The highlight of the TF for me was undoubtedly facing off against Ghost Widow and Scirroco at the same time, and then doing the same with Black Scorpion and Cap'n Mako. There was one tiny moment of doubt in the first fight when half the team suddenly went RED after a particularly vicious AoE, but the healing was all good, and everyone was back up to full in an instant, and after that there was actually zero doubt in my mind that we would be able to take down the AVs, even in pairs. It may not have been blindingly fast, but it was fast enough, and they really didn't stand a chance.
Another amusing moment was after the scrap with Arbiter Sands at the end of the first mission, when someone (I think it was White Warlock, but my memory's pathetic) said "Wait, he was an AV?" That quote sums it up for me.

Lo Folks, well seeing as how Virgin finally got round to fixing my internet I figured i'd celebrate by trying to organise a run through of the states TF for my main character seeing as how I've never done it.
Anyhow, aiming to kick off the festivities about 2ish british time tomorrow afternoon so if anyone else is interested in joining in please register below.
Just for those not aware the states TF is for level 45+ heroes and requires a full 8 person team to start.
