    Veteran Rewards Time:
    1 year 3 Months on original account and 1 year 2 months on the second (let the first one lapse when i was playing more on Union for a while). Haven't really played/paid for CoH much this year at all.

    What Are You Doing Now?:
    Running a 300 member guild that spans across Archlord, 2Moons and RF online, new website in sig. Currently playing 2Moons, but returned to CoH last week as not much left to do in 2moons until more content is added.

    What would make you return to CoH?:
    Not sure how to answer this one. I'm having fun playing this again atm and know i'll take a Dual Wield / * to 50. After that? Not sure, maybe i'll wait it out until AoC and play a couple of the powersets i wouldn't have chosen when i used to play. I can't see there being a new issue with more end game content before March (IF AoC gets released on time).
  5. I'd also be more than happy to join in on this. Nothing beats good TF's I'd use my Kin/Rad Defender which can presently do anything up to Numina, If the plan isn't to do them in order i can bring one of my other toons for the high level ones.
  6. Don't mean to hi-jack the thread but saves creating another for one answer. Can someone tell me which IO it is that gives Kins knockback protection when slotted in ID? Can't find the blighters anywhere on the auction.

If you get debt its probably because you ran away and got killed by an NPC. DONT RUN THAN just get killed by your enemy. Just like people moaning about Stalkers: "ZOMG [censored] PUT OFF TEH <bleep!> HIDE ITS NOT FAIR!!!!11". Stalkers got Hide because they assassinate that is what they do. If you get attacked by someone in PvP and you dont like that and you cant take him on alone call some friends to help you.

    Nin Vs. Regen

    It's all well saying how it is on paper, but the fact is that regen Stalkers are pretty hardy. Fair enough they don't have the same almost invincible regen rate that Scrappers do but what they do have can make them tough to kill.

    By the sounds of. Maybe you could try it out before coming to a concrete conclusion. Since the alleged bug fix/nerf i've been caught out by unseen stalkers more often.

    As for soloing, I cant see any AT soloing an enemy team with some pvp experience.

    Which leaves me wondering why you think i shouldnt have a soloable stalker because i have other toons that can solo.

    If i were throwing my toys out of the pram believe me i wouldnt be posting so calmly. I'm not stopping my account from being renewed due to this one issue, i am not that narrow minded. It's due to a range of reasons.

    Co* is designed as a team game in either PvE or PvP. Why stalkers think they should be a special case and be able to successfully PvP solo is beyond me.

    A stalker can function very well as part of a team. It seems they just don't want to.

  12. Nerf or bug fix, its yet another nail in the coffin that will see Co* being shelved come the 18th of this month when my subs run out. By the sounds of it Stalkers can now be seen when in close range, pretty much means that my dark brute and my stalker are now very alike apart from my brute can take the damage being dealt when i get seen close up. Not much point in having AS if you cant get close enough to use it, not all Stalkers are hardened PvP'ers who will adapt, in fact there are very few very good stalkers. Sudden influx of Spines Stalkers anyone?
    I reckon the effects of this change wont be seen properly (good or bad) for a while yet till people are used to it. IMO stalkers are going to be forced to team to be of any use in PVP. And the arguement that heroes have been forced to team for months to deal with stalkers just wont wash. This was true for support AT's in particular, other AT's could cope with em, and a Stalker is NOT a support AT.

  14. Personally i prefer to save on end, its a pvp build i have and i encounter a lot of end drain powers being thrown around. But hey ho everyone to their own and all that

    And? Combat jumping gives very little defense at all, and an SO in it for defense makes next to no difference whatsoever. I use it for additional immob protection for in the unlikely event that kuji-in rin is down and for nothing else. The OP asked me for my build and i gave it, it is merely a suggestion on how to build nin/nin for pvp and is only my take on the set. If you dont like it then thats fine but the build is not aimed at you, and to be honest i amn't going to discuss it further with you, i'm happy with mine.
    Perhaps your time would be better spent lvl'ing and learning your own set that trying to find fault with the help that people offer.

    well...

    You do realise for all they may have changed it from cone range to range that for powers that fire in a cone the range enhancement will still enhance the cone range? Same as the change to endurance modification enhancements....

    Because they change the name of an enhancement doesnt make it any less useful.

    Yes well that's kinda obvious considering its you AoE defense from being unhidden.
    The version of hero planner i have doesnt take into account that you can slot it for defense hence it says empty, did you want me to put end red on it on hero planner because it doesnt know it can take defense?

    I would have thought it obvious i didnt mean for it to be left emtp considering i have it 2 slotted, and considering the person asking for the build is lvl 38 and will know it takes defense....

  19. Divine Avalanche gives very good defense buffs when slotted and is stackable as it has a very quick recharge. Although i did respec it out on my nin/nin stalker for pvp due to not really standing around to fight very often.

    Knockback protection i dont have and dont really think is necessary for me.
  20. I asked a the same question before respeccing, the debuffs iirc is 5% from the attacks which enhanced really doesnt give you a great investment for the slots. Chances are you will be taking down your targets one by one anyway so the debuff from touch of fear is really all you need, someone told me once it was either 30 or 40% debuff with 3 Acc debuff SO's, all i know really is that whatever i apply ToF to very rarely can hit me back.
  21. For the extra attack i would consider air superiority instead of flurry for pvp. Being able to knock the villains outta the air is very very handy, it also ensures (if their travel power is flight) that they stay grounded while fighting you and cant fly off I used to have jumping and SS as travel pools on Be-el, i changed to flight/SS with the last respec.. flight because i find air superiority invaluable and i then dont lose out on a power from choosing it, and SS because hasten is a godsend to the recharge times of dull pain and instant healing.

    I chose soul drain pre 30 instead of dark consumption for pvp in sirens because it has a higher accuracy and a lower recharge time. I use this to help uncover stalkers when i've been placated. I have 3 Acc and 3 recharge on it.

    If u havent already and can spare the slots put at least 2 Acc and also 3 Acc debuffs on touch of fear, i love fighting brutes that cant hit me

    Hmm leadership. Personally i wouldnt consider this for my scrapper as the benefits are minimal and i have less need than i do on my squishy toons to be able to spot stalkers sooner.

    Whirlwind.. i considered this but ended up not taking it as i just couldnt fit it into my build, the only place i could have put it would have been instead of petrifying gaze, but i felt that was the one power i couldnt sacrifice for pvp, i enjoy being able to take part in all phases of hammidon raids when i attend Also the fact that it doesnt uncover stalkers it only knocks them back/interrupts AS.
  22. Caltrops+AS+Placate = Very dead boss very quickly.

    I tend to find that bosses will be more interested after their alpha in getting off of the caltrops than in attacking you.
