Doing a search by author would have worked on this post since you started it (if I happened to have a reason to look for your posts specifically coincidentally a short time after you posted), but for other posts it just leads to the start of the thread making it impossible to find you guys when you post halfway through page 22 on some hot topic...

We want ice to look like 'ice' and because of how the FX were created when you apply a very saturated, non-cool hue to them they no longer look like ice and instead look like a cartoonish jewel.
Even saturated greens turn ice FX into emeralds, so we've had to desaturate the hues as they move away from the cool cyans/blues.
There's still reds, oranges, yellows, etc...but they're desaturated tints.

One of the basics of this games adaptability to the millions of character concepts we players have had over the years has always been, if there isn;t an exact power set for what your powers actually are, you can pick something similar and imagine it as what you wish. This in turn, is one of the main 4reason why things like color and animation customization is so wanted, to help bridge that gap betweem what your powers look like to everyone else, and what they are to you in your head. Why are you conciously trying to limit the players imagination?
Since day one of this game there have been people playing thier ice powers as crystals and/or gems, even more exotic magical and technological contructs.. As long as the power's abilities and general look fit thier concept it's been done. Sure maybe they'd wish it was jade green, or a blue diamond, a greyish transparent aluminum.. But now they are going to get thier wish.. or thought they were..
So what it the brighter colors don't look enough like ice, they look like some player would want them to look, and that is reason enough to allow it.
They only reason I can think to force someone to look like thier ice is ice would be some misguided thought that the appearance may fool someone in pvp that you have a different powerset that you have (a possible advantage? I dunno, I don't pvp enough for it to be a concern, personally). But honestly, ice, along with most powers, is unique enough in its appearance and effects that it is unlikely anyone could be fooled that way. -

I've always beleived the Cimeroroan version of LR was this guy: Marcus Valerius
Theres a physical similarity, he's best friends w/ the Statesman figure or at least stalwart shield-brothers. (As Stefan Rictor was w/ Marcus Cole) and he's big on testing you before he trusts you. His brusque manner is reminiscant of Stefan's.
Of course, considering his name, it might be interesting to postulate he may be the real Statesman alternate, and Imperious (a character known mostly by his 'code-name') is the Lord Recluse of his time..
However, Marcus Valerius also has a shield-brother named Gaius Severa who was killed jumping in front of a blow meant for him. But then again, Marcus Cole and Stefen used to have a tight little gang around them too, back in the day. -
My vote goes to Toxic_Shia
Alot of great pieces, but Shia's made me laugh while still giving a great 'versus' feeling. I would so totally buy that comic.
Like a great Holmes vs Moriarty story with giant robots and time travel. -

Bug Description: Short sleeves' bare arms under 'jackets' section all using the same male veined texture instead of inheriting the texture from the 'chest' option selected. Females have male arms in jackets and if you coose a full top such as exo-proto your arms stay flesh.

That fact isn't a fact. My base has tech teleporters and arcane control and everything works just fine. You can mix and match however you want. The only limit is that auxiliaries have to match the item they are connecting to.

He's referring to Tech Power and Tech Materials for building the teleporter I think -

Heres the problem I have ewith the new changes. One of the players in our Posi TF was on a trial account, we found this out as he started to complain he was getting no xp OR infl any more.
However, one of the missions bugged, a kill all that wouldnt finish despite all enemies visable to the team had been killed. (apparently there was a clock work off the map somewhere, 8 players searched very thoroughly) So the leader sent a petition and we waited... and waited.. Eventually the leader quit, then someone else, etc. Leaving the trial account as leader. The GM responded to the petition... BUT THE TF LEADER COULDN'T RESPOND TO HIM! He couldnt use tells! The GM went on his merry way thinking the trial account user was afk, telling him to respond via e-mail.. which he couldnt do without a support account, which apparently you dont have as a trial user... so instead of another hour wait for a new petition, the TF broke up..
And BTW, if you've ever petitioned a mission in progress, nearly the first question they ask is "Is this your mission or are you the team leader?" (TF missions belong to the team leader, thats why you can't use 'makeleader' during a TF to switch the leader) Which is why only the TL was petitioning.

Buuut... GMs don't magically know who the team leader is to send tells to. If the GM was responding to him, it was because he sent his own petition along with the mission leaders.
Also, if he wanted to get rid of the star, he could have logged out and then back in. The star would have been passed to the next name on the list.

A) He did send a petition after the original TL left, increasing the response time.
B) The first things the GMs ask is if your the Mission owner (TL in a TF) and if not, too bad, have the mission owner petition and we'll respond to that one...
C) I begged him to log off. Idiot went and sat in his SG Base for awhile, then joined a CC in Atlas, then back to his base, went into the mission a couple times (preventing a reset by time passed). Eventually it did reset and we went to try and redo the mission.. he died twice near the beginning and chose to sit in the hospital without responding to any conversation until I finished the mission. I couldn't get the next mission from Posi since he remained unresponsive. I eventually logged off and came back the next day to solo the TF to conclusion.. he wasn't logged on then, but he apparently stayed in team, since everything spawned for two... -

Not a power as such, he taps into the same teleport network the hospitals use. Knowing him, he probably does this without the City Teleportation Network Authority's permission, and wouldn't mention this to just anybody, as it would lessen his tactical element of surprise. -

One of the available 'capes' in CoV is 'fringe' that fits nicely on the back of you jacket...
