  1. Wow with all these blaster and power pool changes my main Blaster is absolutely due for a respec when i24 goes live.
  2. I know we have 9 power trays but I am running out of space for my powers (especially my warshade). Could we please have more space? I have a number of ways to do this that will help.

    1. Add more power trays. We have 1-9. How about giving us 0-9,A-F? I would be willing to buy trays from the market if you want to go that rout.

    2. Give us a macro storage list. It works like a list of all our macros. We can put the macros in what ever order we want and add tabs to keep them organized. We will be able to execute the macros directly from the list. This will help in cases where people have macros for specific events like the Hamidon raid and iTrials.

    3. There is a /macroslot command to add a macro to a particular slot but it needs a way for us to put it into a particular tray as well. We also need a command to remove a macro from a slot in a particular tray. This will allow us to create keybinds or macros that populate our trays with the right macros for a particular event.

    4. Have macros show recharge for the power that they execute. For example if I have a macro to execute Domination and change a costume in one click it should show recharging to the same degree that Domination is recharging so I don't have to keep the Domination power on the tray to see if it is ready or not. I know some macros can have multiple powers they could execute. Just show the recharge level of the first power in the list.

    5. Create commands for placeing powers on the trays in particular slots and commands for removeing them from trays. I know the idea was for players to just swap trays to do this but it doesn't help if there are not enough trays for everything.

    Thank you for considering.

    1. ED and invention designs limit the amount of recharge you can slot in the first place, so no matter *why* you do it, the range of values you have to balance for is much lower.

    2. Slotting is something you do. You have theoretically full control over it. And its *likely* someone isn't going to *slot* for far more recharge than they need for any particular power, separate from the actual slotting limits that exist. But global recharge is something you build for all your powers, even ones that don't need it, and recharge buffs are ally buffs that should, in the general case, not reduce your performance in noticeable ways. From a balance-perspective, ally buffs have always had a larger discretionary range of performance than self buffing and enhancement have.
Except Alpha slot recharge is effectively global.
  4. 1, 3 & 4 are fine by me but I don't like #2.

There is already a penalty for using the procs on long recharge powers because a 100% proc still fires less often for longer recharge. We don't need 90% cap added to that.

WOW!!! Awsome. So when I log Average Bob back in his faithfull German Shepard will still be by his side?
  6. I was slotting my reciently leveled 47 with all brand new IOs and HOs on both builds.
  7. The servers that were restarted are the fixed ones. All the others are map unknown.

    Good to know. ty
  9. My guess is that they kill Statesman, have Positron lead FF and run STF, and put BaB in Positron's old spot in Steel and run posi's old TF.

I would also take a way to convert 10 Centrioles into any other HO. Wow I have a lot of Centrioles stored up.

Remember, this appears to be an unforeseen issue. This means that fixing it will not get onto any programmer's to-do list for at least several months, if it even gets that high a priority considering the presumed general lack of large numbers of players begging for it to come back.

And even if large numbers hound the Producers for it... they might remember the Calvin Scott TF they brought back because of the hounding for it... and almost no one plays it.
Super sidekicking can't get lower level players into the many forms of level restricted content in the game. They said in the announcement that many of us are useing it. I know I still use it.

I wonder if they are considering giving premium players a temporary level pact license that they can purchase.
  12. So picture this. Two VIPs get a level pact and one goes to premium. Assume there is a rule that the premium player doesn't get level pact experience until he goes back to VIP. The premium player is level 8 and the VIP player advances to level 38. Then the primium player goes back to VIP. The level 38 player has to wait until the level 8 player catches up before getting any xp. He will be stuck at that level for a long time. He could of course simply break the level pack at that point.

By the way any chance when you change the Level Pact code you could allow one to be formed at higher levels and with more people?

    Edit: spelling fixes.
  13. Welcome to the game. If you want to train a bunch of pets I recomend the Mastermind.
  14. Does Seed/Avatar of Hamidon drop HOs? Please make it so.
  15. I can see the sewer trial going something like this...

Defeat X Enemies in Area A (Happens to be enough experience to go from level 1 to 3)

Talk to This Guy (Happens to be a trainer)...Door opens to next area

Defeat Y Enemies in Area B (Happens to be enough experience to go from level 3 to 4)

Talk to That Guy (Happens to be a trainer)...Door opens to next area

etc...'till the player reaches level 8

  17. So the plan the devs have to test the max number of players that can fit on a server even though we know the servers can handle the current capacity suggests a couple of possible future plans they may have.

One possible reason for this is perhaps they will go free to play which would bring in many new people. If this is the plan may I suggest making Virtue and Freedom server for only paid subscribers since they already have high populations?

The other possibility I thought of is a plan to merge the servers into one. While I see benifits in doing that there is one BIG problem which is resolving heroes with the same name. Quite frankly if I have to change the name of some of my most liked alts I may stop playing.

Rather than rage against the possibilty however I thought about it and would like to offer an equitable sollution. Let me break it down:

Each character gets an extra data field that identifies which server they were on. Players can have the same name as long as the server they were from is different.

New characters choose the "server" they belong to even though there is now only one server. This "server" catagory of players can be used for events and competitions i.e. Virtue v.s Guardian to see who can complete ITF the fastest. So in essence a player is choosing a group they want their character to be a part of.

Where the player names are displayed the players base name will be the same as usual but below the name will be something like [Freedom] if they were from the Freedom server.

Chat channels for things like Team, League, Friends will display the base name as usual except if there is more than one person in the Team, League, Friends list with the same name. Then the name will display as NAME@SERVER where SERVER is a 2 letter abbriviation for the server the person is from.

Global chat and local chat will always use the NAME@SERVER format.

The owners of global channels can choose in the settings to use NAME or NAME@SERVER format. This is because the owners of channels may have tight nit groups or massive groups of people joining and leaving.

Tells must use the NAME@SERVER format if not using the global handle.

Quest dialog and NPC text uses the base player name.

    Sound reasonable?

Can you also look into the lag on the Hamidon raids? The lag has killed Hamidon raids on Virtue.

But picking ANY super power is an easy question; what about 'useless' powers? If you had to pick something that's out-of-the-ordinary, but not extraordinary, what kind of power would you take? For example, I'd like to be able to make things glow by touching them. I always thought that'd be pretty rad. Suddenly, everything becomes a lamp.
I would take the power of Virtue. I would be the most virtuous person possible.

Cause sometimes my tray 4 becomes unresponsive. Usually I'll switch it to a differnet tray and back and then it's fine. If your powers are in Tray 4 this could be the cause of the problem.
If your power tray is vertical flat on the middle right side of the screen there is a hidden pane there that is used for help popups. It is always there even when help popups are disabled. When you start the game the hidden pane starts on top of your power tray so you can't click on powers because it clicks on the hidden pane instead. You need to click on the powers tray to bring it to the front first. This is very annoying for me especially when I want to use a power in that tray quickly and discover I can't do it right away because I forgot to move the power tray to the front. I submitted a bug report a while back but it appears nothing has been done about it yet.

Would we be able to create missions that weren't co-op but PvP? One side with ally NPC's and one side with Villain NPC's and players from opposing factions?
