Just the other day I deleted my def who had TP. I never even considered using binds to help. Unfortunately I just respec'd my new def otherwise i'd consider tp again. So its time to roll a new alt.

I don't think I'd ever take TP with a scrapper or blaster. It just seems a pretty good fit for the "support" class chars. My new def has TP friend which even at higher lvls is still handy (anyone with SS try and find the enterance into the TV reactor).

Just wondering, I'm assuming one doesn't lop tankers in with scrappers oir blasters... namely because this is THE travel power of choice for stone tanks.

Use it, love it, live by it.

I thought I saw something in the new PDF CoH manual saying that TI was now a click power? True?

    [/ QUOTE ]

    Nope.

With Enhancement Diversification comes a benefit for ALL City of Heroes powers.

Every power, across the board, is getting a 13.33% reduction in its Endurance cost.

Yay? I guess? It helps us manage end with nerfed stamina for those sets that are so end heavy.

It all falls apart if BUFFs and INSPIRATIONs aren't ALSO subject to diminishing returns. Take your 2.1x guy, give him a nice Fulcrum Shift, and you STILL have to code those MOBs to be able to take 3x, 4x, even 5x burst damage.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Yes, and that's exactly what I've heard, though the solo aspect of the game is still somewhat killed if one relies on toggles.

    Sigh.

Moving both Damage and Recharge to Schedule "B" does everything that the Devs want ED to do, and doesn't do many of the things Players don't like about ED. (Travel powers not able to be 6-slotted, etc)

But I suppose Dev solutions aren't allowed to make sense...

    Sally Spawn Rate

I PM'd cuppa in regard to the spawn rate fix. And the answer was that yes, the spawn rate was also adjusted in the 10/14/05 patch.

    Sally Spawn Rate

Sooo, is it fixed in this patch?

    I'm assuming not....
  8. I just did it the talos way, but meh, what do I know 8)

    Looks pretty good.

I would 6 slot TempInvuln before I put any slots in RPD, you get a much bigger return in Res from the toggle.

I would not slot Build Up with a To Hit Buff, anything that you need more than the Base To Hit Buff to hit is going to be so much higher level than you that you aren't going to do it any damage any way.

I might want to move the slots around to try to get a few more in the attacks earlier. With the general reduction in the effectiveness of Scrapper secondaries the best way to suirvive a fight is to KO the mobs before they can KO you. Your Res and Def just aren't going to keep you up if you can't generate sufficient damage to KO mobs quickly.

    Otherwise it looks pretty solid.

    regards, Screwloose.

Thanks, I moved the slots from RPD to Temp Invuln, and I played with the slots a bit to get a few of the attacks in earlier.

    Great guide btw!
  10. Great guide, I play a Spine/Invuln in addition to my Dark/Dark. I've found the Body pool useful for both.

For my Dark/Dark, I went with Conserve Power (6 Slots Recharge), and as the Dark Armor self rez now seems to work 100% of the time in i5, I've been testing that as my 49 power.

For my upcoming Spine/Invuln, I'm planning:
