    A name request?

Congratz on the name grab. A lot of players (if still playing) are happy to help 95% of the time.

Most the names I look up are on inactive accts or trials so I double my gratz to you.
  2. @Mystic - Wolverine is being saved for another piece further down my arm, as is Hulk. Once I have a job that allows visible ink, they'll be there.

@Lightslinger - Green Lantern was thrown in the mix for a friend of mine. He was diagnosed with the nasty 'C' word and myself and a couple of his other friends got GL (his fav comic hero) inspired tattoos in support of him. My original plan was the lantern symbol on my right ring finger, but this kinda worked better.
  3. Oh Deadpool will be in Red/Black as of next session. Ran out of time today to do his costume.
  4. My tattoo artist and I have been working on this design for over a month and a half. And after a total of 13 hours of inking (and pain) I present to you...my favorite gaming community...the fruits of our labor. Now I still have 5hrs of inking left, I just need to heal a little bit before we do the rest.

    Sorry for the long/oversized pics,

I don't know, how do you think a -To Hit, -Damage, -Recharge aura would be helpful for a build that relies on Defense to survive?
My apologize for the slow response, lack of interwebs does that. and theduke24 reworded my question pretty nicely.

I guess when it all comes to playstyle. I have a couple "ranged" alts that blast baddies up the nose, but when I was building and toying with the sonic/time I just found that I was more useful in the back a bit letting the baddies either SLOWLY run at me to get in range of hitting me, or debuff the heck out of them so my team can mop up. /Time is a great playstyle variant powerset. It allows players to be either the sit back and blast or in the face kind of player. I have a Grav/Time troller in the middle of every fight...with Juncture running the entire time.

As mentioned I'd try to cap S/L and melee def if you plan on being in the thick of things, But I wish you luck in your screaming adventures. Give'em an earful.
  7. Unless you are using the Leaderships and others as IO mules I see this build gasping for endurance. I am currently running a Sonic/Time (Along with a few other alts) but I'm finding less need for ranged defense as I use to. Teamed or solo the baddies are either taking to long to hit me before they're "defeated" or their just about "defeated" when they get a hit on me.

Myself I went more +rech and +dmg in my build (Which I'll post at the end). One thing I felt like asking because you took and slotted heavily where as I skipped it...How is Time's Juncture helpful?!

  8. I snagged on Liberty: Kurtis E. Flush. A WB/Rad Corr.

Used the Rad as sewer stink colored dark green and browns. The WB is a mix of golds, yellow, and browns as to make up the sewer water. Went Dark Mastery to get the stun toggle if they get close enough to my stink...and Soul Drain is yummy.

    Thanks Ketch,

Saved my new little project alt from the scrap heap.

    A ? on Ice/Dark

Probably a stupid question but this is gonna make or break this idea for an Ice/Dark Troller...

Will I be able to run Arctic Air and Shadows Fall together?

AA is a slow, confuse, and stealth I think. SF is the defense, resist, and stealth...will the double stealth kill the combo?

It's the cybertech back detail (think there are 2) from the cybertech (originally called cyberpunk) costume. It's a costume set that's a mix of punk stuff, a cool new trench coat, glowing tattoes and gadgets. (Basicly, iss 24 freakshow).

Here's the thread with all pieces listed: http://boards.cityofheroes.com/showthread.php?t=292813

This website shows many of pieces: http://www.guildportal.com/Guild.asp...5&Msg=48585801

Is probably still a while before it goes live.
I saw the Cybertech pack mentioned but my mind jumped back to the origin packs and I was frantically looking thru them last night. Thanks for the answers too, guess I'll be "patiently" waiting much like everyone else.

Where is that back piece from?! I thought I had all the packs...I could use that on so many costumes.
  13. Probably a stupid question but...

Is there a way to see if you received the entire costume set? I know I got a few pieces but cannot find them in the costume creator or on a checklist anywhere...
  14. We'll see ya on Noyj, just remember to stay away from the Dark Water!!
  15. As i said in the beginning,

Beating the dead horse. Ah well, back to banging my head on a wall for character names.
  16. Hey all, and bottoms up!

(commence beating a probably dead horse....)

Small idea I had last night while attempting to get a new name for an alt, and one idea that has been probably thrown around many many many many times before. With this new influx of players the need for non-gibberish names is in high demand. I'm a player who HATES to have to use a dash, comma, period, or an apostrophe to get a name. Sometimes a dash or apostrophe is needed theme or grammar wise but still, its painful for me to do. I also see xXxNarturoxXx kinda stuff lately...totally uncool too.

So my idea is can we purge the trial accounts of the names they hold if the trial account is inactive for so many months? I looked up a name on Liberty last night and the name was held by global @Trial WQ1H6 (or something similar not to point fingers). I know with other NCsoft games (I'm looking at you Aion!) That if a subscription is inactive for i believe 6+months the names of characters under a particular level are released back into the community. Now there is no announcement saying the names are back in circulation but you get my point....

Also I guess since reading the Virtue Name Watch thread that OLD OLD CoX accounts that went inactive before globals were introduced still hold wanted names....can those be marked for purging as well? Please?
  17. Can't take credit for this, but I thought it could help you.

I've added the tech origin cape and slimmed the model down....but I lost those screenies. Again I didn't originally make this but it could be of inspiration.
  18. I'll toss this in as a bit of a Opposite effect...

Here comes the Furious Flea! What better nemesis for a cat to have besides a flea?!

  19. Just thought I'd post my Earth/Fire build for ya, give another outlook. Granted not def capped but with the CC's and a Heal its not to bad. Perma-Dom without hasten and perma-hasten with hasten. Enjoy.

  22. I tried this experiment on Liberty. I didn't tell my regular teammates what I was doing but I lvl'd a Nrg/Elec/Fire Blaster named K-Baxx (code of Knockback). I slotted 95% of my attacks with Force Feedback and Kin Crash. Surprised myself how much KB that /Elec does. Bonfire and RotP helps too.

Lets say he has been collecting dust for a bit now once 50 and slotted. I'm told I'm kicked from any TF with I log that alt on.

*edit: Also forgot to say I added up enough -KB for myself its really hard for anyone to knock this blaster off his feet.
