Last night was a very busy night in Pocket D, tons of people there! Which oddly made it hard for me to get into conversations with people at points. You'd think it'd be the other way around.
Jan Boa turned up to find a longbow agent in Pocket D. She was rather nervous, until Freja said she was off duty. Jan then got into a conversation with the Longbow agent about her work, and a possible job for her gathering information. Freja was exchanging sarky comments with Echo Hammer, Rapacity and Big Lunk, before getting a duty call to head off.
Jan then started talking to Phonos, who was rather surprised at Jan being a halfbreed. After a while, Jan made her excuses and left.
Number Nine turned up briefly for a drink, saying hi to Winter Heart and chatting to Phonos about her abilities as a chronomanipulator, and the bonus of a quick costume change that grants. She spoke to Vigilante Storm and was rather shocked to hear that Coile had disappeared. Nene soon had to dash off to aid a friend, and left.
Storm Sapphire turned up and ordered a beer, before heading away from the main bar to a quiet one where Roselin Thorne, Nightschild, Lady Patriot and others were. Sitting at a booth, she sipped at her beer before slumping over, looking rather depressed and upset. After a while, she picked herself up and left with a glum expression.
Austin F. Pacat, a successful lawyer turned up and ordered a rather expensive bottle of champange, and got chatting to Phonos, giving him a glass of champange and talked about buisness. Austin seemed to be a rather pleasant man, for a lawyer, though Tormentress cryptically told Phonos to 'not judge a book by its cover'. When she had left, Austin smirked and said 'read the blurb'. They chatted some more, before Phonos headed home, and Austin found himself with more champange than he could drink. Asking around at the bar, no one else was interested, so he headed to the other bar. Roselin and Sarah were just leaving, so he chatted to Nightschild and Rapacity a bit about law, the Nightsparrow trial, gave Rapacity his buisness card and chatted with Nick about the law and superhumans, both having similar viewpoints. Tiredness and drink soon started to overcome Austin, and he bid his farewell. Nick said that it was the most unpleasant time he had spent in the company of a lawyer. -
Oooh, I've gotten behind on updates.
Last night!
Fusebox arrived with Minako and the two chatted about Life, the Universe and Everything else, before finding Miss Ellie trying to get drunk. Hannah and Mina talked her out of it, gave her hugs and talked things over before Ellie went home. The two girls then continued their chat, before Mina had to head home for school in the morning.
Monday:
Madame Midknight turned up to chat to Coile and Star Crusader, as well as then later talking to Lady Patriot, Roselin Thorne, Energyneer, Mesoc, Jaik... something, and some others. With the lack of a barperson, Jane hopped over the bar and started to serve drinks, before getting called away to battle crime. She also let Coile in on the fact that she was dead, served a zombie to Mesoc, and pointed out a blue liquid as being Romulan Blue Ale.
Later on, Jane turned up again and chatted to Rapacity about magic, undeath and things in general, and also briefly spoke to... someone, name begining Fle... I think, and someone else, before heading home to feed her cat familiar, Rheu.
Sunday:
Nene met Andre and Sword of Truth in Pocket D, and had a drink with them, along with chatting to Diana and many others. The Silent Tempest disappeared halfway through the night, and Nene headed up to speak to Fallen Patriot and Roselin Thorne, before going to find the Silent Tempest members and chat to them, giving Coile some information about someone who was looking for info about the death of Jiffy Blakes.
Jan Boa is out of jail and chatted to Roselin Thorne a bit, before heading off. -
I'm quite pleased with how Chibi-Isaac's expression came out, a fusion of cuteness, but still retaining Isaac's cheeky naughtyness which, I feel, gives the picture that 'I've been bad so I'm giving you a present to soften the blow' feel.
I'll have a fiddle around with my brush settings, I might have switched something off to get it like that, I'm sure I pressed -something- when I was fiddling about earlier.
With Sakura's picture, I was in the staff room, turned to my best friend and said: "Pose like Sailor Moon." She replied with: "I don't know how!" so after some bodily manipulation, got her in a pose to roughly sketch in the positions, I think her hoody is what made the shoulder look a bit out of place, but the hands came out well. It's swings and roundabouts sometimes, drawing is!
Oh, I normally use a gel pen (At least that's what I think they're called...) for inking, like with the Isaac and Sakura Hime picture, is this an okay kind of pen to use? I've noticed Swissy sometimes uses Biro, as does one of my friends, which when my friend does it he gets a bit more neater lines when cross-hatching to shade and doing finer detail work.
Edit!
Two new little drawings done at college! Juan, doing what uni students do best. The neck is a tad off in this picture, looking a bit too long.
Sophie, looking rather surprised at seeing a kitty.
-
A chibi Isaac, with a cute little flower just for you! The legs need to be about 1/3rd longer in this picture though.
A sketch done of Bishuju Kesshi Hana Hime leader, Sakura Hime. The shoulder's are a little off, and I'm not too fond of the mask, but really pleased with how one of the hands turned out.
Another try at a sketch of Grav Mistress, done roughly using pencil during psychology.
A rough sketch done late at night using my tablet in Paint.NET, trying to get straighter and less wiggly lines. Must make sure to use layers to more effect for the underframe. -
Konnichiwa! Last time on Bishuju Kesshi Hana Hime!
All of the Hana Hime gathered in the Níwa, noticing the lack of Youma recently, and hoping this situation would be there to stay, but when they headed out, the Corrupting Darkness started to attack! The Hana Hime headed to rescue a kidnapped man, and after leaving, several of the Hime discovered new powers, or were about to discover them!
Gathering to discuss the Corrupting Darkness' next move, a warrior from that wicked place appeared, and called himself Hades! He taunted the girls to Paragon Steel Works, and even though they suspected it was a trap, they had to go!
Arriving there, they beat the surprisingly weak Hades, and deception was revealed! This was one of Hades' phantoms, and he taunted the girls that he had covered Atlas Park in a shroud of darkness, and infested with Youma as he searched for something called the Red Cherry Gem!
Dismayed that they had been tricked, the Hana Hime dashed over to Atlas, and arrived to find it full with powerful Youma! Fighting their way to the bank, they took down Hades' strongest Youma and faced him in combat! Momo also learnt how to use the power of Haru to help her fallen team mates get back up!
Recovering the Red Cherry Gem, they headed outside to deal with the Youma infestation that was still plaguing the city, but when a powerful signature of dark energy appeared, the girls rushed off to face it! Inside the police station, Youma were attacking the brave officiers of the PPD! Fighting their way through, the girls struggled and persevered, but when they faced a new and powerful youma, that almost looked a little like Bara Hime, the girls were quickly defeated, but the power of the Red Cherry Gem teleported them to safety! Thank goodness! The girls then parted ways, confused and slightly scared about the events that happened that night. Who was this new Warrior of the Corrupting Darkness? What is the Red Cherry Gem, that Sakura now holds? Will Tuxedo Saviour ever be more than a mysterious ally, swooping in to rescue the girls?
And what's this? A set of magical backpacks have appeared in the Níwa?!
All will be revealed, on the next episode of Bishuju Kesshi Hana Hime! -
Aye, it was. Back when bases first came in, you got 75k for creating them.

[ QUOTE ]
How do people with even more active alts handle the load?
[/ QUOTE ] Practice, an overactive imagination and conciseness. Not only do my characters interact with others, but they also interact with my own characters, and sometimes my own characters -and- others characters. It may be the source of my madness, keeping all that together and running.
Oh, while I remember, Nene's poor choice of words last night, when talking about Jiffy being murdered by the Lost, said to Tracey when she asked why Diana was upset:
Number Nine: They are mourning for a lost friend.
Ooops! -
[ QUOTE ]
yesterday, he also found out "theres monkeys in here", and drags echo and evelyn/WG to the lounge over the monkey fight club.

Odd mental image of Lunk as Homer Simpson there. "Look Marge, monkeys!"
Last night!
I wasn't about for the whole night, my RP drive was stuck in park it seemed later on. But while it was still running, Number Nine turned up and chatted to Coile, Energyneer and Lady Patriot a little, before giving Coile a hug. Aww! As she was chatting with him about his misfortunes, a small, pink and blonde blur pounced on him and quickly hugged the breath out of Andre. Love Angel is out of hospital! Nene seemed really pleased to see her and picked her up for a hug, and the three chatted a little, before Nene got talking to a talk show hostess named Tracey, who seems to want to put Nene on the show. ((Can't make it if it's filmed this coming friday, as I'm on a train to London.))
Nene and Tracey chatted for a bit about being a gynoid, before Tracey started to speak to Andre, and Diana and Nene had a good chat about swimming, dreams and nightmares. Nene was quickly getting tired, because she had spent the prior night up late in 'Sapphos', a night club in Steel Canyon. The things Nene has to do to learn various methods of socializing.
She bid her farewell to Diana, Andre and Mensc/Jacob, and got/gave a kiss on the cheek from Diana. She contemplated on giving Andre another hug and a kiss on the cheek, but how would the tabloids interpret that? -
Tis a good pic, Kelv. Though for some reason I expect a slot to open, a cup to fall down and be quickly followed by coffee.
-
Oh, Coile's post about things happening elsewhere jogged my memory!
Doctor Temporis came across Number Nine in the recreation district of the laboratory, in a rather flattering... swimsuit?! Yes, Nene has spent a week off work, and has decided to try to learn to swim. Doc was working on a robo-fish (James Pond?!) and they chatted for a bit before Nene got into the pool. And sunk like a brick. Doc dragged her to the shallow end, and after a while of practice, she had gotten fairly good at swimming! -
Well, three. There's two topside and two bottomside, but one of the bars heroes topside and heroes bottomside is in the same place roughly, so you get some conversation crossover, but that's me being pedantic.
I'll be following this advice, probably heading to Heroes Lower Windowside bar if such situations happening, seeing as then both bars are roughly visible to the others (So you can see characters turning up at one or the other), yet are still out of chat range.
Though speaking of villains, I've noticed a Villains+/Heroes- swing in the attendance of Pocket D, though this may be due to the several court cases/murder investigations/police investigations befalling Paragon's finest (and not so, if you'd believe the Inquirer.)
And yes, it is true. Nene does have a firm, strong, composite super-alloy crafted rear of uncorruptability. -
Number Nine swung by Pocket D earlier and chatted to Shadowplay, and got a bit upset when she found out that Jiffy Blakes had been murdered. She offered some help, before heading off to get something to eat. She swung by Pocket D later, but upon hearing a group of individuals from the Rogue Isle laughing at Nightsparrow being arrested at her wedding, she bid her farewell and headed off.

Congrats, Ducky! I saw your 50 ding announcement in Galaxy City, but by the time i turned up, you had already gone. :<

Konnichwa! Last time on Bishuju Jesshi Hana Hime!
Momo Hime and Sakura Hime met in the Níwa, where it was Peanut-Butter Jelly Time for Momo as she raided the magical cupboards in the kitchen! Sakura Hime showed Momo about the new base that was provided for them, including the features of the Hana-níkkí. Yuri Hime showed up, and was rather depressed that she got a 98 on a test.
Bara Hime was grounded due to being out late the last time the girls were out! And Hasu Hime had various duties to attend to, so she wasn't able to join the Hana Hime.
The Noticeboard in the Níwa pointed out the location of a Youma in Galaxy City! Rushing off to deal with it, the girls fought through the crowds of possessed factory workers and took down the Youma, freeing the factory! Wai! But! Tuxedo Saviour showed up! Who is this mysterious man, and why does he help the Hana Hime so? Is Momo right that he's a bad man?
Rushing off, they sensed the ki of a powerful Youma infecting a building in Kings Row. Kowaii! The power of the Corrupting Darkness had twisted the inside of the building, and residents infected with dark power attacked the Hana Hime! Yet again, Tuxedo Saviour showed up to save the day, and they dispelled the dark magic and returned the appartment block to normal!
After defeating the Youma, they were granted another gift! Sugoi, the Youma-Hunter! A flowery-designed hand held, it had the ability to track down Youma in the part of the city they were in! With this, the Hana Hime will be super-strong and able to track down those Youma with ease!
Using it, the Hana Hime rushed off to save a kidnapped woman, what did the Youma want with her? Tuxedo Saviour aided the Hana Hime again against there fight, and Yuri was acting very odd when he departed! Does she have a crush, or does she know something about him?!
Picking up something on their Youma-Hunter, the Hana Hime dashed off to save the day again! But! As they headed to the cave where the Youma were hiding, a group of kowaii men in rags attacked, and Momo got hurt! Luckily, Tuxedo Sama used some smelling salts to revive her, and the Hana Hime were able to banish the Youma! But just as they attacked, a scary, creepy male voice taunted the girls before laughing into a fade off! Still, they beat this mysterious person's 'phantom', as he called it! Sakura learnt to call upon the power of the cherry blossom to boost her strength, and Momo was able to call upon the healing power of peach to weaken the Youma they faced!
Heading outside, the girls were tired from their fight with the Youma of the Corrupting Darkness so they departed for the night, with several Youma defeated!
Gambatte ne, Hana Hime! You're doing well!
((Yuri, Momo and Sakura are now level 7.5, and Bara and Hasu need to pick up the Police Band radio scanner for the Youma-Hunter. If Bara and Hasu need a hand getting up to level 7.5, just let me know, something can be arranged. )) -
Pocket D, in the Heroes side bar most evenings, Galaxy Girl from the usual times in the evening, anywhere else is usually either in SG bases, or pre-arranged.

Last night at Pocket D:
Andrew 'Axolotl' Varr turned up for a drink, and left when Silvana's (can't remember the character name proper) mentions of her torturing people brought back memories of his time with Crey.
Number Nine turned up and spent a while staring into nothing, before getting into a conversation with a group of villains including Nightschild, Silvana, Big Lunk and Tormentress, where discussions on AI, emulated emotions, job and choices of lifestyle were discussed. Nene then went to speak to Sword of Truth and Jiffy Blakes, getting some not that plesant news, and left them with $20 to get something to drink with, and wishes that when they next speak things will be more calm and happy. -
((Tuesday will be Hana Hime night, if everyone is okay with that. In addition, we have some new things too!
The Níwa has opened up for the Hana Hime, accessable through the flower portals scattered all over the city. In addition to a large meeting chamber full of trees and flowers, there's the hidden chambers for the Hana Hime to relax in, complete with kitchen, baths, bedroom, study areas, books and entertainment systems. There's a noticeboard in there for writing notices and messages, as well as the Hana-níkkí, magical diary books for the Hana Hime to write in and communicate with each others. Will more magical objects appear for the Hana Hime? Who knows!)) -

Fly Me To The Moon - Monday
Nene/Number Nine is finding that the stresses of modern life are getting to her a bit. Anxiety about the vast amount of choices in life she can make, angry about the interuption to Andre and Mel's wedding, and being a bit unprepared to cope with the various emotions. Jane Darc decided that what Nene needed was some quiet time, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, to just have a girly chat/scream/cry. And that's what they did. Switching off the DVD they had been watching, and taking the fast food they had for dinner to the bin, Nene took Jane up to the surface of the moon. Being a gynoid and a zombie respectively, neither needs oxygen, and a simple spell kept Jane's body warm and enabled the two to speak to each other. Taking a stroll along the lunar surface, Nene had a good cry, vent and scream, as well as indulging in some fun activities with Jane, such as lunar jumping and enscribing a message into the dust.
Returning back to Earth, Nene headed to Pocket D, where she spoke briefly with Ebon Tear, Lady Patriot, Roselyn Thorne, Alexandera Troy and Dark Blow, before making her way to The Pits of Hell to enjoy a quiet drink in the place, looking rather reflective. -

Someone else knows of Boy meets Boy! Now that you mention it, he does... I'm not sure why I love drawing him so much... I think it's just the general mix of attributes, from the collar, the spikey hair, the glasses.
And that's probably more Juan and Mina when they were first going out. Juan's quite a complex cookie. When first dating Mina, he was rather shy and quiet, and when he spoke he was rather peculiar and didn't use contractions like I'm and the like, now though he's gotten a bit more teenagery.
The necks, might come from being a little bull-necked and shouldered myself.
Oh, curious question: Does anyone else find there's a time of day they draw best at? The picture of Isaac, Juan and Mina, Isaac half-naked, they were done at night time. The picture of Jess and some of the other later ones, done at daytime. Hikari-Hime thinks I may be a wereartist. She may be right. o_O -
It's odd how it happens sometimes. A random little doodle involving just a bunch of pencil strokes being built up can inspire...
Trying to apply that a bit more realistically, which then lead to me trying to draw...
Minako and Juan hugging, which while having some perspective problems, especially with the eyes, and Juan's head again plus his elbow, lead to this...
My favourite, Isaac, looking rather bishounen and dreamy. Quite pleased with the perspective on the elbow. And earlier today...
This sketch of Jessica Stoneberg/Grav Mistress, done during my break at college and then at work. It didn't come out as well as I hoped, I need to work more at it, especially the hair which I didn't have a reference for. Plus the neck seems a little thick. -
((Was fun, enjoyed it, even if Nene nearly did something that got her arrested (Slapping that stupid detective), what with the wedding interrupted at that moment, Diana grounded, Mel locked up... someone's going to be a little cranky!))

Megan Andrews stretched out on the bench in Gemini Park, twisting and turning a little to get more comfortable. A dark red bike, the basket on the front full with bags of shopping, rested against the back of the bench as she rested up from her ride back from the shops. She must have been in her mid to late teens, though possibly a bit older from how tall she was and athletics-honed muscles.
The day had been long and tiring, and whilst she knew she should get home, part of her just wanted to rest there and relax in the cool, crisp winter afternoon. Her eyes slowly slipped shut, dozing lightly.
A light pink glittering bolt swerved and swept its way down, faintly heart-shaped as it feel from the skies to land on Megan's chest. Pulsing lightly, the gem was in the shape of a cherry blossom, and with another pulse, it sunk below the thick wool of her jumper.
A clatter, followed shortly by a loud splash woke Megan from her doze. Sitting up, she rubbed at her long brown hair, pulled back carefully into a ponytail. Another clatter followed, and hopping to her feet she headed off to investigate. A pair of men in thick protective clothing were dumping barrels into the water under the bridge.
"Damn chemical dumpers... where's the police when you need them..." Megan muttered, looking about. She stumbled a little at the feeling of a light surge of energy in her heart, making her body tingle. "What's going on...?" she blinked, another surge passing through her. Watching the men unloading the barrels was making the surging pulses rush faster through her, her anger overiding her sense of confusion.
"I've... got to... stop this!"
Megan gasped out as a pulse of pink light surrounded her, shifting her into the ether. Looking around in confusion, Megan blinked as her clothes faded into a shower of cherry blossoms, before slowly starting to swirl around her, forming into a pair of high boots, a long dress covered with a puffy-sleeved shirt and scarf. Her arms flicked out to the sides, braclets inscribed with an etching of a cherry tree appearing before waving her palms across her forehead, a golden tiara inset with a pink gem, and a mask of the same colour appearing. Arcing back, a matching belt with a large jewel in appeared around her waist as her brown hair turned a soft, cherry pink. With a shimmering 'pop' she landed back in the park.
"Ano... what happened..." Megan wondered, before a soft voice echoed through her mind. Pausing, she listened to the voice before nodding and leaping forwards, down the cliff towards the waters edge.
"In the name of Gaia I, Sakura Hime, will punish you for this!" the words came to her lips, making herself jump slightly with shock as she posed, ready to fight. The two men looked up incredously.
"Uhh... no thanks girly, just run off and scram." One snorted with contempt, the other laughing as he dumped another barrel.
"Then you asked for this!" Sakura Hime yelled, dashing towards them before cartwheeling forwards, hands lashing out. As they drew close, cherry blossoms started to whistle around them, glowing brightly before cascading everywhere as her fist collided with one of them, sending him flying into the cliffface and slumping unconcious. Springing to her feet, she quickly ducked and dodged out of the way of several punches, bringing her fists up for an overhead slam. "Sakura Nami Utsu!" she called out, her fists exploding in a shower of cherry blossoms as they connected, the chemical dumper grunting as he flew back into the water, landing with a big splash against the bank of the lake.
Panting, Sakura Hime looked about before straightening up as sirens and flashing blue lights approached. "Uh oh... what the hell happened? I better get out of here!" she whispered to herself, making a break for it and leaping up the cliff back to her bike. Her eyes closed, a surge of energy passed over her, and Megan soon found herself back in her normal clothes.
"...Freaky." -
High above in the spiritual planes of the kami and elements, a lush green island with marble structures and pillars floated through the ether, shimmering drops of water running off the edges and sparkling like rainbow drops to the expanse below. Resting in the centre of a concentric set of circular pathways among vaulted archways and trees sat a large throne, surrounded by tendrils of vines, a dazzling array of flowers on each. Sat upon it was a pale, almost glowing woman, her skin smooth and white and her hair like blades of soft grass cascading in waves down her back. Her serene expression turned to one of pain as a dark wind swept across the isle, the plants waivering and wilting a little as it passed.
Hana-Joo, the flower queen, sagged a little in her throne. "The Corrupting Darkness spreads from Gaia to even this sacred place." her voice chimed like a bell. "And while I am powerless against it... maybe I can..."
Standing a little shakily, she made her way towards a marble round table, an altar set upon it with several glinting gemstones, each in a different shape of a flower. "Perhaps I can call on a new generation of Hana Hime... ones that will fight against the Corrupting Darkness and help nature heal, spreading beauty, good and life throughout the world."
Raising her hands in the air, the gems rose up, each one glowing with a differing colour. "Yes, it's time once again..." she smiled softly, touching each with her fingertips. Lifting her hands in the air, she sent the gems flying up from the island in the ether, through the planes towards the earth. Each one searching for their rightful owner...
