Propel takes ages to activate though, pulling dps down.

Dom damage won't ever be as good as blasters, though most combos can do respectable damage, and some great damage. It's the same for Corrs, and blasters have the same variety in their sets.
I'd say the fire/rad would probably pull ahead becauese of having 3 AoE attacks plus a nuke, and higher damage, and those rad depbuffs. The dom does get firey embrace, but doesn't have some important attacks (Fireball! Which is often used in ST chains for fire/).
Mind/ will pull ahead in safety. Corrs get some safety, but it can't beat the lockdown of an AoE hold and fear and confuse.
I'd say doms can be a more fun character when played in a blaster style way.
So give them both a try!

tbh RoA+FSC should be enough though, but Presence is useless. Pick the ice epic for sleep if you want. -

What I so see is a strange primary for it. If you were elec/fire with the extra two AoEs I'd rate the chances higher. Just cant see Fistful being much use, which is a shame as its a nice blaster attack

Rain of Arrows, is the main reason I went Arch/, 16 second recharge time on a light nova that does'nt drain all your end is not something I'll be complaining about.

As I am usually working at range it seems obvious to me that I would enjoy the repel bubble thingy...

Nice then. I was thinking of getting SS n' Stealth (for invisibility) so I can walk into the mob, pop Aim+BU, drop RoA and try to FSC right before I get the aggro. Should be tricky and it certainly will get me a lot of debt before I get it right, but if it works it will be great fun.
[/ QUOTE ]I'd say that that would be enough burst damage to work. Not sure about when stealth suppresses though, but I've been able to wipe out mobs with BU+Aim+RoA and fistfull, FSC instead of fistfull should be even better! -
From experience, if you fire it in LoS of the mob, they will notice you a moment before it hits, but from out of LoS it's when it hits the mob I find.

Fire/Mental for me I think, but sonic/mental might be a nice fit too.

Psi dart and aim are likely to be in that set. I'm not going to be suprised if psi has some damage or activation nerfs, and so it might not be as great as everyone's saying it will be. Psi/mental will still be a neat combo though, no doubts here.

One issue with having TK Thrust, is it is very similar to TK Blast (apart from range). Would the devs want a Psi/Mind blaster to have so much overlap? on that issue, Will Domination and Mesmerise are also somewhat similar (apart from amount of damage), which could also influence the powers available for Mind Manipulation.

That's how I sees it, so the secondary effect, in that respect, might be nerfed. TK thrust and Mesmerise probably have enough of a damage gap now, and TK thrust is melee. It could become a power thrust sort of thing. -

[/ QUOTE ]It makes sense that subdue could be moved though. One of the rednames (Can't remember) Was being really ambiguous about Aim in Psy Blast, implying it's a possibility. Also, it could have damage lowered.
But meh, TK thrust is more likely as a t1. -

It's just the unsupressed stealth that intrigues me. A single target scrapper with that would be nice in teams. Scrappers don't need as many defences.

Energy Aura's stealth would be awesome for me, I'd totally roll /energy, and it has a +end power, and a godmode better than elude! Totally sold for me.
