I was always annoyed by running out of space in my inventory and I hated having to hunt through base storage or vault then finding I don't have the thing I need. I bought both expansion trays for Enhancements and Salvage and never regretted it. (I don't need to go to 50 enhancement slots though)

My emails full of merits, xp boosters (I use them on different toons), super insps, enh boosters (dont use them), catalysts etc. Stoopid booster packs (which I said I'd never buy before they came out ).

The game had to change. Veterans left, new people came in, new customers came in, technology is better. They chose to reflect this in the lore by fracturing the 'old guard' and allowing a new generation to take it's place, so why not include the players in the process? I appreciate the way they are doing it. It's much better than the comics world where they simply reset and start over which (imo) dilutes and confuses the stories and also alienates their long term readers.

Well I played a StJ/Will Scrapp all the way to almost T4 everything and really enjoyed it. I chose will because it's set and forget but really the combo system is flexible enough to work with any secondary.
Just choose your favourite 3 combo builders. I skipped sweeping cross and used crushing uppercut for st and spinning strike for aoe (yeah I agree the aoe is not as good as other sets). -
Well here it is from the horses mouth. I think they know what they're doing.

Quote:Aha now we see why the dfb threads and smileys.Sorta related I guess, but I do not like getting random group requests in Atlas though.
I play on Freedom constantly now and I've found that if you get on to a team quickly or run straight to AE people don't send you blind invites (except on one occasion where I had a long conversation trying to explain to someone why I couldn't join their team as I was leading a full dfb trial ) -

Quote:Attuned sets. And the range bonus is where it should be.I don't think they CAN alter existing IO enhancement/set bonuses.
Misapplying it here, but the sentiment may be understood, - 'Cottage Rule' - fiddling with existing IO's has the potential to mess a lot of people's builds up, which would lead to fallout that can be avoided just by not altering anything.
The best they can probably do is new sets.
Of course, it's been a while since we saw any of those, but hey ho... -
I won't be soloing I will be getting to 50 with the help of a 'very close friend' and then jumping straight into the iTrials.

Masterminds have something no other toons have. Entertainment.

You won't go wrong slotting so's you just need to remember to replace them every 5 levels. If you want to start on your set bonuses now you can do that too but keep in mind that it may be better to save up till your sure of your build at high levels (unless you're a good marketeer and are able to get your investments back if you go wrong ).

Quote:I think everyones right. And everyones wrong. This is the dilemma that will occupy this Thread, this Website and this Virtual World as a whole long after you leave this chatroom. This is what the OP is all about for the love of Pete. It's like some people are reading the wrong thread. lol

One more inspiration slot? When fighting on +4 my tray fills up quite quickly it would be equivalent to like 3 or 4 more insp slots.

Pretty cool idea. I don't think the devs would like it though it will throw off all their careful balance calculations.

Well actually the explanation at the time of launch for the revamp of missions was that there were so many discarded mid level toons parked at doors that they were causing too much lag so they decided to change all the low level missions to street hunts and gave us one super mission to team up with. So it is actually designed for new players as well as old (and to be abused as much as possible).

It's fake. Or at least it's a clever merge of different timelapse videos. The background stars don't show up that brightly when taken from space because there is no scattering effect from the atmosphere.
This is real. -
There may be a thread of interest to you on the new posts page right now. If that kind of thing really matters.
Edit: Why don't I just give you the link. -
Mind/psi it is then. I want to be a good debuffer on teams so i will be spamming mass confuse and drain psyche looks great. I may try out dark/dark too.
Thanks guys. -

I like running the iTrials a lot and have played heaps of melee toons and I tried a few doms ages ago but didn't follow through with them because I was only solo'ing back then. I must say that it seems to me that the doms I teamed with were having a lot of fun on the trials so I thought I'd give them a go. I chose grav/psi for pure holds and dps and I should get to 50 sometime this week, if people would like to post their builds thats fine but I'm really after tips and tricks for the trials thankyou.
I may try out some others as well but I'm not sure that sleep or confuse would work too well on 50+ foes. -
I so read the title wrong and it wasn't at all funny. It was a big sigh of relief when I read the body.
