Kay.
Badstorm and her chesticles of doom should be here any minute. -
My recommendation is to hook up with the Paragonwiki, read the info there, and *forget what you know about MMOs*. This one isn't quite like WoW.
Welcome to the city! -
I think one of the Stone powers does too, one which used to be easy and great to activate in the air.
As far as I'm concerned, anything that does Hold or Immobilize should automatically *ground* something that's in the air, not be unable to hit it at all. -
What does the Invention system - which deals ONLY with 'loot' we don't see, combined on theoretical platforms, to produce existing enhancements or tags for costume options - have to do with this?
Nothing. Nothing at all. We don't have any need for these things *except for cosmetic purposes*, and perhaps maybe a base item would be cool, instead of a portal you step out from your car door or hop off your cycle. Aside from a prop? It's neither necessary or implementable. -
I don't even know who it is... O.o
All I know is, jello, Badstorm, and an audience... -
Hehehehe.
Maybe one of those utterly random powersets: instead of actually having powers, you have only the basic "button" - a cone attack, a PBAOE attack, + resistance toggle, etc. But you don't know which of them would appear until you click the power. Then it just chooses among the powersets you've got access to.
lol. -
I can see you like pvp
While I don't agree with most of those as it would be more difficult than necessary to do, and imbalance things a bit, I don't completely disagree with most either. Just meh on them. However I want to address:

~Water, so everyone stops using blue floors
~When i log out in it base, i want to log in there too.
[/ QUOTE ]
There's a way to use the force field generator under a floor to make it look way more like water. Of course, should they ever fix the pvp aspect of bases, that would be unusable because presumably they'd have to fix the pathing difficulties.
The logging in and out of bases though I think that's actually a full on engine thing. You cannot re-log into an instance, it's a map that most likely doesn't exist until you enter it. It might be nice to do, I agree, but I don't THINK they can actually do it. Maybe that'll change, but I dunno. -
Oh god please. I hate that "target in air" thing - and not just with my plant troller's normal powers - but with other powers in her tray like Nemi staff. I cycle through ALL my powers available, and sometimes I'm fast enough that when something is still moving, I like to hit it AGAIN.
But you can't DO that. -

well if your that cheap be like a gladiator, you played that for life...or was it for your life.
[/ QUOTE ]
I wouldn't pay for that, but I would pay for a lifetime sub to watch Zekiran and BadStorm wrestle in a kiddie pool filled with lime jello . . .
Zek can be our version of Lita from the WWE.
[/ QUOTE ]
Um.
Wait, what? -
I'm guessing that you don't have much computer experience?
If you're using Windows XP, it will be found by clicking the "my computer" icon, then your hard drive (should be c, and from there, "program files". In Program Files the City of Heroes directory will be available. You can open that folder and in it you'll find all the stuff that runs City of Heroes, including the Screenshots folder. It will be named exactly that, Screenshots. -
[ QUOTE ]
Do you need a Printer in order to the Print Screen button to work? Because I dont have one.
[/ QUOTE ]
No, you don't. All it does is save "what you see" to a temporary clipboard.
What you DO need if you want to *alter* the images, is a paint program.
However, if you just happily click printscreen in the game, during regular play, your screenshots will all appear in the City of heroes/screenshots folder on your hard drive.
** Screenshots taken this way don't normally include the user interface.
** Screenshots from the character creation screen or the tailor must immediately be pasted into a paint program to be visible, otherwise they just don't show up anywhere. -

My thoughts exactly. -
OW lol! O__O wait does that mean you look like a Simpson's character?
-
[ QUOTE ]
so to sum it up this post was made cause someone is just plain cheap?
[/ QUOTE ]
I'm pretty sure that's correct. -
I would say if there are more than three, it should take the lowest of them first. Progression through to the higher ones if there are bigger insps available.
-
Best Power Suggestion Ever. Right there.
lol! Friend of mine rode unicycles competitively (though his team was down by a member and didn't do very well). -
[ QUOTE ]
though i get your point.
[/ QUOTE ]
I don't think you do.
To "roll back" a server would *completely remove* villains.
Think please. Think. I don't care if you're French. You still have a brain. Read and comprehend. THEN post. Please. -
[ QUOTE ]
mind if i have an idea and express it?
[/ QUOTE ]
If you express it in the "suggestions" forum - which you did - the idea will get picked apart by people with a clue about how the game works.
Think harder about the suggestions you might make, but realize that no one will just come in to praise your ideas "because they're yours" - it's open season here. That's why this section is in the "for fun" area.
We know plenty more gamers that DO like the entirety of the game as-is.
I know there are a couple people who have suggested "we should go retro and have a launch server because I like 6 slotting things and herding whole zones!!!!!!one21!" But those are suggestions that *also got torn apart* because they are *not great suggestions, and not thought out properly*. -
I don't think you represent "gamers".
I think you represent "just you". So please, enough with the presumptions. The game's INCREASED in fun and INCREASED in value to the company over the 5 years it's been out. Removing anything - as you can see by the furor that taking away the badges caused - is a BAD thing.
So you're saying, that "way back when" it was *everything that this game needed to be played by everyone playing it*?
Because - I'm a gamer. And I like it just the way it is. -
Which is a shame, because I know a redname did say it. I thought that most redname posts weren't removed.
But gawd amighty I wish they'd ARCHIVE threads, instead of pruning them... -

therefore, i envy the knew player that dont use MA, and i wish they where servers with different versions, as in FPS. So one can play their own style.
That would be more efficient than having many servers with the same game.
I wish this would exist, so you'd get my idea.
[/ QUOTE ]
No. No it would not be "more efficient". Do you realize how many different teams of developers would have to be there to keep one server different from the other, AND offer them upgrades at the same pace? This isn't an FPS. If you want that feature: play an fps.
I like this game the way it is. MA, Market, everything. If YOU don't like the ma? don't play them. Pretty simple. If "all your friends" don't like it either? Well hey ho! There you go, a whole group you can team with without going to the MA! woot! -
^^ What Justaris said.
The game is in fine shape. Just because you can no longer herd the entire map and blow everything up with your fire tank doesn't mean the game's bad these days.
Tell me, OP, do you play in Peregrine Island?
Or do you have a villain?
Do you do any Orobouros missions?
Do you collect badges?
How about using monsterous legs?
Do you like to play PVP? or visit Pocket D?
.... Guess what: Issue one didn't have those things. It didn't even have capes.
So: no. No, it's just your opinion and the game IS actually a much better place than it was before. Yes there have been some stumbling blocks, but never - NEVER - has the game been "worse" than it was 5 years ago. EVER.
